They don't back their own advertising claims and guarantees.

They advertise 30 & 60 day guarantees on CPAP masks on their website.

When I started the process of getting a new mask, I tried 3 different models each having a problem fitting me. I returned all 3. I paid my invoice. And now, they say that they can't send me a new mask for 6 months!

They claim that the guarantee was only on the first mask I tried. I couldn't keep any of the masks I tried because of the sores they created on my nose. I don't have any new mask from them but they have my money and they probably have my insurance company's money.

Each time I called, I was told that the problem was with me or my insurance company. They change the rules as they go along. The problem lies with Altus Medical Equipment.

I am sending my complaints of false advertising and taking my money without supplying goods to my insurance company, my doctor, and to the State of Texas Attorney General.

had surgery done at one of their locations. they billed the insurance company wrong and therefore my claim was denied. it's now been 4 months and still no proper appeal has been done. this is making me have to pay $80 twice a week for PT because I have yet to meet my deductible. the communication and the follow up is horrible.

The Altus Infusion branch part of the company is not very organized. It is like the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. They said to come in at 8 and no one showed until 8:30 am. They do not communicate appropriately. Upper management do not return phone calls within 24 to 48 hours. They have different policies for different offices across the country with no uniformity. Patients are not communicated to on a consistent bases. They are always asking them to use out of network insurance benefits when not necessary.

I HATE to have to up date this review,however,I must. Altus was taken over by Pharmacy partners and since 1/2019,, the culture exhibited has changed. They still use the original slogan, HOWEVER, the actions do NOT match. Their dedicated employees are being reduced to more ticks on a bottom line ! They are not treated as a valued representative of the company,rather, more like expendable!!! Beautiful, peaceful environment and EVERYONE USED TO embody the company slogan, "Treat patients like family".

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION with women who sound like they're talking thru their noses..extremely HARD TO GET AHOLD OF ANY of the 24 on call NURSES FOR ANSWERS OR INFO WHEN WE NEEDED THEM AND THE FUNERAL HOME HAD MY WIFES BODY JUST SITTING THERE FOR A WHOLE WEEK WAITING FOR A DOCTOR TO SIGN OFF SO THEY COULD FINALLY CREMATE Her AFTER THEY TOLD US EVERYTHING WAS ALREADY DONE???!!!!!
DO NOT USE THIS HOSPICE IF YOU WANT TO DIE PEACEFULLY, in a timely And respectful manner. CHOOSE A DIFFERENT PLACE with social workers who ARENT "dying" to move on to the next patient...Horrible place.
