I do not know what happened, it all started so well but in the middle of the reconstruction of my family's home, Altius stopped and demanded more money, after we have made an agreement! I had to quit their service right away and now my home is half finished and we cannot even live in it! I spent thousands of dollars on this?!?! I encourage everyone to stay away!

Never been to "Altius Architecture." BTW , where is it???

Dealing with Altius Architecture was a disappointment. Cathy is an architect in name only, she does not care about what she produces. I used them for a project years ago and was disappointed by their lack of knowledge and self serving manner.

Their oversights cost me money to correct, and they will tell your what you want to hear but when the time comes for the city to inspect plans you find out they haven t done their homework.

The work does not seem to be thoughtful and the people working on your project will overlook simple things, if you aren t careful they will create a completely unusable space and go over budget.

Altius was great. They provided a beautiful design solution to my project (Gutting and renovating 2500 square feet of space). Cathy and Danya (architects from Altius) were amazing to work with. They were very diligent and provided a solution that my wife and I were very happy with. They were very easy to work with. Would hire them again for any future design/architecture needs.

Would not recommend Altius! They will tell you what you want to hear to get you to work with them, but buyer beware! They increased the budget for our projects by more than 50% and then tried to convince us to spend hundreds and thousands of dollars more then we even considered! When we told them we were not moving forward, they had their lawyers ready to sue us for lost revenue to Altius!Then in between their lead architect quit the firm and started his own. All in all, do not be fooled into working with them, you will regret your decision!

Cathy was so helpful to us redesigning our kitchen and bathroom to make them wheelchair accessible. We couldn't have done it without her and her team.

Cathy Garrido and her team are fantastic! Cathy listened and gave expert advice and solutions during our home reno, and always made herself available to answer questions and provide information. I highly recommend Altius Architechture Inc., and would definitely work with Cathy and her team again.
