Absolutely awful. Do not waste your time or money with this company.

They don't cover Drs and dentist ppe during a plandemic so my doctor's charge us 20$ a patient for a .000001 thick plastic gown and mask that they don't even change between patients. Whose the bigger theif, I am unsure?

My husband has this insurance and was recently admitted to cleveleand clinic due to an infection from diabetic ulcer on his toe . Long story short. After surgery and a 10 day stay and counting he is requiring at home iv antibiotic and rhe insurance is fighting the claim. Hence keeping my husband stranded in Cleveland clinic. Just for antibiotics. Costing more money to be in hospital then at home care for only 2x a day iv bag. Canceling asap!! Whenever i can actually contact a human being. Worst insurance we have ever EVER DELT WITH

Switching to medical mutual as soon as possible. Aultcare is a typical insurance company that wants to provide the bare minimum and only after having you jump through months of hoops. It was my mistake for choosing them but luckily I have other provider options through my employer.

This is the worst insurance company I ve ever dealt with. If you have the choice, CHOOSE SOMEONE ELSE. They are rude individuals who do not care about your health and well being. I ve never received such horrible customer service in my life. They care about their bottom line and squeezing their customers dry. I have gotten bills for services they have promised to pay or are outlined in my policy but even showing them their own policies do not matter because they only want money. Horrible business. Horrible people.

The MOST overpriced insurance ever! They pay for almost nothing and charge a ton of money every month. Stay far away. I wish we could get another insurance its terrible!

The receptionist have to be the worst! They are a complete joke! Buy some personality!

Canton resident. Just switched through marketplace in January. Denies everything, so bad. Don't deal with aultcare. Even breaks the law by refusing to accept cash. Girls who accept payment in the office are horrible. Run from Aultcare to anything else.

If i could give them negative stars i would! Stay away they will not only take your money that you have to pay them for your premium they will find ways to have you not meet your deductible so all year long you are paying out of pocket they leave out the fine details and sneak around it be very cautious when having insurance through them! Especially with your deductibles fair warning i learned the hard way even with your in network you have several tiers each one is their own amount for deductible so you think you have one deductible but mine had 4,500 6,000, and 7,800 they chose what claim goes where. If you can go with another insurance company do so

called to get a payer ID to submit claims but apparently you need to go online and they have no access to it. we have a client here who we cant see because we cant submit claims. Thank Jamie!

Quite possibly the worst customer service. I initially inquired 1 month ago regarding a billing error on their part. Since then, I ve been told via phone call and/or email that someone will call me the next day which never happens. I have continue to email and get the same response. So embarrassing to know that this company represents the people of Stark County.

ZERO STARS, HIGH PREMIUMS, NO COVERAGE and HIGH DEDUCTICBLE THAT CANNOT BE REACHED BY A reasonably healthy person. Under no circumstances should anyone get insurance here. It is a total rip off. When I go to Walgreens or Giant Eagle to fill my prescriptions they are more EXPENSIVE with AULTCARE so I ask the pharmacist to bill my prescriptions without AULTCARE and I can walk out with my medicine at HALF of the price. These people are total crooks. If you want something for hundreds or thousands of dollars you pay, do not come here under any circumstances. The won't even give you a dab of vaseline when they screw you.

Very well run hospital. Used to go to mercy but they have changed. And not for the better. While Aultman is large, offering all necessary services, the personal care is still there. This hospital is still growing and is quite the asset for Canton Ohio.

A disappointing start to coverage through AultCare.

Getting through on the phone has been a nightmare. I've needed to call in three times in the last month and every time have been on hold for over an hour. I would gladly go online to find answers to my questions, but haven't been able to register because my insurance cards have not been shipped yet.

Updated: Unfortunately, I have more experience to review. Routine claims for my family were rejected because we had not turned in an "other coverage" form. I was told I should have received it with my initial enrollment packet...the same one mentioned above that never arrived.

After the rejection, I was sent a copy of the form and faxed it back within the hour. A week later, I called check on the progress of the situation and was informed they had not received the form.

On the bright side, during my recent calls I have not had to wait on hold for more than a few minutes. At least that aspect has improved.

Busiest place around but still make an effort to serve the best way they can! In my book, effort is EVERYTHING in a world of uncaring people.
I love Aultcare.

You get next to nothing for your money. I've had so many things not covered including a dietician for my toddler daughter who was diagnosed with celiac disease and allergic to dairy, a breast pump, and a specialized physical therapy.
And if you want anything covered where the only area specialist is out of network, you better not have an urgent need. They tell you they can take up to 15 days to make a decision of whether or not to cover it after your doctor sends them a letter explaining why you need that specialist.
If you can avoid it, never ever ever choose Aultcare as your insurance.

Great health plans. They do a great job of explaining my coverage. My company does not cover everything because they pay for my insurance. The team here did a great job helping ke find what was covered and how to navigate the system. Health care is complex and it is nice to know there is a company out there that helps you navigate it.

You'll be lucky to talk to a representative that knows about your plan or is even willing to help. If you do get someone "helpful" then they will probably stop returning calls. They say they cover out of network as long as it's not a routine appointment, but then they will pend the claim for a year and deny it. After that time you will not be able to fight the claim they originally said would be partially covered. My calls were never returned and my expenses were never reimbursed. Aultcare is a waste of money and a joke.

We had an individual plan with Aultcare for several years, in reasonably good health and premium was always paid on time Our premium was increased by 50%, June 2015. With an insurance background, dealing with the company was difficult, representatives seemed to be inexperienced and untrained. Consider other choices when obtaining health care coverage.

My only complaint is customer service. It's impossible to get a hold of somebody and they do not return phone calls. Took me DAYS to finally get through to someone to answer a simple question that unfortunately could not be answered anywhere else. Ended up switching companies because premium was outrageous for what they cover and how bad customer service is.

Every single time we have a bill they are constantly "requesting additional information" (wanting me to verify whether or not there's any other coverage). Also, they will just let you suffer and never fill your prescriptions.
All they do is take your money.

Worst customer service ever! How do you justify putting people on hold for over an hour?!?! If you are that busy or short handed, HIRE MORE HELP!! As far as plans go? Worse plans ever. I had prior authorization for a medicine that when I called to get filled, could not get filled. Express Scripts (their pharmacy) said they kept rejecting or denying my RX.
ES said I needed prior authorization, that I already had!
And their cost of plans are outrageous! How do you think $780 a month with $15,000 deductible is affordable?
RUN away from Aultcare!

Aultcare is the worst insurance. We have consistent problems with our claims processing as out of network, when in fact, the providers are IN NETWORK. I have to call on EACH AND EVERY MEDICAL CLAIM THAT WE HAVE to ensure the processors have done their jobs correctly. I rarely, if ever, receive an apology. And i wonder, if they are processing our claims incorrectly, how many other people's claims are incorrect???? Maybe they are processing them incorrectly on purpose, hoping people don't check their bills. Just a thought. What Aultcare has done to us should be illegal, if it already isn't. Talk about insurance fraud????
