As a first time homebuyer, I was so happy to work with Chris at Alpha Mortgage. He made everything very easy, was always prompt in replying to my questions, and was very personable.
I would recommend them to anyone!

We started looking into our first home purchase and we had made up our mind to go with Alpha Mortgage. Our realtor recommended Mrs Dell Allen who was amazing and very professional. Our home buying experience started well over a year ago when we met with Chris Nagle to assess our readiness to purchase our first new home. Chris was very helpful and patient and provided us with all of the information that we needed to prepare for home buying. He explained our loan options as well as what we would require for a down payment and what we should do to make our credit desirable. From beginning to end, Chris and the Alpha mortgage team, were readily available to answer questions from inexperienced home buyers. Hopefully we are in our home for life, however if needed again we would definitely reach out to Alpha Mortgage.

The staff was very helpful, however, the loan was sold before the ink even dried on the closing documents. That in itself presents with a multitude of problems. There has also been additional information that was not presented in detail which I am just now finding out about two years later. Would never use them again!

We have used Alpha twice and both times they have exceeded our expectations. In our most recent experience we ran into a late challenge and the Alpha team of Chris Nagle and Kami Castle found a way to fix it so we could close on time.

From my first meeting with Chris Nagle, I knew this was a person my husband and I wanted to do business with. He knows the business well and was always available 7 days a week to answer any of our questions via text, email, or phone. His assistant, Jessica was knowledgeable and was also able to answer any questions I had. Our Loan Processor, Katie Smith was a gem!. Couldn't have asked for anyone better. She was extremely helpful in guiding us thru the daunting experience of paperwork in the process of purchasing a home .Katie was always professional and with her encouragement we were able to meet deadlines and were able to close on closing date!

We had a nearly perfect experience, just missed the projected close date and that put our family in a huge bind. I was told the news of our delay by an unapologetic voicemail, the reason the close was delayed was because the appraiser they selected for my loan was on vacation and there was zero follow up so days were wasted.

We had a falling out with our landlord and found ourselves needing a home in less than 3 weeks. I was set up with Todd Perry and he came thru big for us. He was always available for any questions and quick to respond, and when he was unable to answer due to being in a meeting with another client, the rest of the staff was immediately there to help out. Everyone was incredibly personable and friendly and you could tell they really cared. We went from the threat of nowhere to live to closing on a house in 16 days! Never thought that would be possible. Thanks soo much to the team at alpha mortgage!

Very poor service, I spoke with Daniel and he kept confusing me someone else multiple times. I sent my information over and I didn't receive any type of follow up. These guys don't seem professional or really care to help anyone out or have any work ethic for that manner.

I was very impressed with the service I received working with Alpha Mortgage while buying my first home. I shopped around a bit for my morgtgage and decided to go with Alpha because a friend of mine recommended them, they offered me a good rate, and were able to guarantee a 30 day closing. Everything went smoothly and we closed on time, even with hurricane Florence hitting Wilmington right in the middle of the process. My loan officer, Joey Milam was very helpful and always prompt in responding to any of my questions. If I had it to do over, I would go with Alpha Mortgage again.

I had recently come out of bankruptcy but wanted to buy a house.... The first thing I did was contact Alpha Mortgage, to see what I had to do to get on track to getting things sorted. To my amazement, after a brief conversation, the broker I contacted (Amanda Wishon) not only told me that she thought I would be eligible for a loan but also had her credit wizards look over my credit report and had them correct any outstanding issues. I was informed of what I should do to improve my credit score and a couple of issues on my credit report that I had not even realized existed (those reports are so long and complicated) were rectified with in DAYS. Yes, Days. Two months later I actually now own my own home! I would never have thought I would already have attained home ownership, but I did.

The broker was terrific as I asked her all sorts of things, about my credit report, the area I was looking to buy in, what kind of mortgage would be best etc. etc. My emails were always responded to and calls returned in a timely fashion and I never felt she was disinterested or annoyed with me.

The financial closer was also very hands on and very communicative, all in all a great experience.
The help I got with fixing my credit was priceless. Hands down it was a great business experience.
