I had a falling out with this company. I worked for them for ...~5 months, give or take. This was years ago - upwards of 6-7 years, maybe more? 80% of the paychecks they wrote on a payday Friday bounced and didn't clear until the following Monday or Tuesday. Imagine being on salary for $33,500 before taxes and have to figure out a rubber paycheck every week. The co-owner, Mike (who for the record was a great teams manager and overall cool dude) would have to borrow money from relatives to float payroll.

One Friday (pay day) I was told I couldn't be paid due to their financial struggles but I was still required to chauffeur the co-owner to his wedding or I would be let go from my job. Something outrageously outside of my job description. I stood the proper ground and said I would do it if I was paid that night. They put my money (in cash) in the flap of a gas tank outside the house I would drop the vehicle off to ......and shorted me $7.34. The day I was let go I was required to do an installation at the same owners brand new house. After finishing I was directed to head to the office. I pushed back a little bit and said I hadn't gone to lunch. I was "allowed" to go to lunch at 2 pm. Then called to the office miles away, and fired on sight. One last piece of cheap labor I guess?

I want to fully disclose that I was let go for having two beers with a sales leader on lunch on a Friday and venting about the lack of leadership in sales and my concerns about behavior around the office. I was let go because this person I had a beer with went to high school with the same owner who threatened my job if I didn't chauffeur him. I literally with my own eyes watched their lead tech (who had overnight control of their company vehicle) do Meth while we are on a job on 6th street. I proclaimed during my "exit interview" that they had their sights on the wrong person, but I refused to mention names. This fell of deaf ears.

I promised both of them not to take them to court or file unemployment because they wouldn't survive it.

@Allied I looked you guys up because I was reviewing my resume - there's no reason you should still be in business. None. And, if you want to argue what I've written here - only one of us will end up a liar.

Close your doors.

I contracted with them to install 3 exterior cameras at my self-storage facility 2 years ago. I thought that they knew what they were doing, as I had provided them with a very specific list of items that I expected the system to be able to do; cover the two driveways and the gate with good quality cameras that have good night vision, license plate capture, have motion detection so that when someone drove in it would start recording, allow me to remote monitor the system, and get email or text alerts any time the motion went off, and allow for offsite storage of the video.
They assured me they could handle all of these items, and we settled on a price just short of $5k to install the cameras (a little driveway cutting was also involved). They were very punctual and got the cameras installed in a very timely fashion. But from there, it went downhill.
I wanted motion detection alerts -- my home security camera senses motion and immediately sends a text to my phone with 3 photos -- but they could not figure out how to do this. Eventually they were able to send a text or email with no photos so I could at least look at the mobile app (real time, not when the motion detector went off, so not much help). They may have eventually figured out how to send an email with some video, but it wasn't the type of video you could see on an Apple phone -- a different format.
I will say that the installers and techs were all very nice and tried to be helpful. But aside from the basics of installing the cameras and some basic configuration, they spent all of their time online with the camera and recorder's tech support department -- they didn't seem to know much detail about configuring the products they were selling.
I kept calling back trying to get them to configure my system the way I had originally asked for it, and eventually someone would show up, fiddle around with it, tell me it was fixed, and leave. But it never really did work correctly.
After about a year and a half, two of the three $800 cameras that they had recommended are now worthless at night (despite them coming back in April to "fix" them), and of course you can't find anyone else to service this brand or get in contact with the manufacturer in China.
I think they just got tired of hearing from me, since they haven't responded to the last few messages I've sent. I've now gone with another vendor to replace the bad cameras and add some more.
So in summary they are nice enough guys, and the install was quick. But what I got sold did not meet my needs, turned out not to have lasted very long, and they -- at least in my opinion -- were not overly technically competent.
I would not call them again (they don't call back anyway) or recommend them to anyone else.

Avoid them! Their onsite guys were cool, but the salesman sold me one thing and didn't ever get the job finished (was planned to be done in two trips). Called/texted a dozen times to that sales guy and the main guy at the shop and no one ever return calls. They owe me work that I've paid for and I doubt it will ever get done. DO NOT PAY THEM UNTIL EVERYTHING IS COMPLETE OR THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!

We had Allied Security Links set up a system in our home 18 months ago. I can t say enough about how much we love the system they installed! We installed four cameras and the video and audio quality has surpassed my expectations. I can use the app and check-in and see what s going on in and around my home. The video is crystal clear. Day or night. The team is incredibly professional and have gone above and beyond. I ve called them several times with questions and they offer a personalized service that I doubt I would get with any other company. They have come out two additional times to make adjustments and show me how to use the system. I m not very good when it comes to technology, but they installed a system that is user friendly and simple to use. I literally review the camera system on a daily basis to make sure my home and family is secure. I can t say enough good things about these guys. If you are considering installing a camera/ security system in your home or office, I HIGHLY recommend these guys.
