They were very professional and friendly to work with. Worked with me over the phone to identify the problem and in my case to reset the door open & close limits (no charge). When it became apparent that the motor itself would need replacement, they were easy to coordinate with on setting up an appointment.
These folks put in our garage doors when we initially bought our house five years ago, but they were contracted through our general contractor, so I had no direct contact with them then. When I backed into my garage door recently, I contacted several companies about repairs, including Allied. The first company that came out told me they would have to replace the door completely, no other choice, to the tune of $1100! After speaking to Allied on the phone and sending them pictures of the damage, they ordered the part and had it within just a few days. They came out to the house, replaced it within half an hour, and it only cost me $260!! And they fixed a minor problem with the other door at the same time for no charge. I was very impressed with the customer service, both by telephone and in person. They were helpful, honest, and helped me save a lot of money!! I'll definitely use them again!!
They did an outstanding job! We have a lower than normal garage that needed a door, framing for the door and all the hardware. Allied came out and knew exactly what needed to be done. Door looks and works great, they were quick too and professional.

The service call started off on the wrong foot. I told the scheduler exactly what the diagnostic procedure told me was wrong with the door. The technician arrived with no knowledge of the diagnostic code, and it turns out, he didn t have the necessary part either. I was charged for a diagnostic service call. He came back the next day with the part I told them he needed to bring the first time, and in the end I paid for one service call.
The technician was great, and the manager did the right thing. But the lack of communication between the scheduler and the technician resulted in two trips to our house and an additional day with an inoperable garage door.
Spoken to receptionist twice, and not once she stated that there were a service charge of $115, the home a new construction built 2015...I, guess there's No warranty on new construction.

would never use company again, I am a developer in Middle TN and they put 3 12x12 big doors and electric i a new building i built, i love the doors but the people that run the company are terrible , I have been trying for 3 months to get the bottom weather stripping replaced because water was coming in on brand new door so after 3 months they where supposed to be there at 9 this morning , no show called Smith garage doors in Clarksville Tn and said they where on there way so at 11;30 still no shows , I have to call back and shout to get anybody to listen, these people dont care about you this one little problem has cost my company a lot never use the stupid company call me before buying .

The garage door hardware that was installed in 2012 already needs to be replaced! Never get a Wayne Dalton design. It don t last! The damn spring is the diameter of a quarter. Also, their rollers are made of plastic and don t last! I recommend Precision Garage Door and their lifetime warranty. Customer service was exceptional as well as their installer!

My garage door spring snapped and the very old garage door opener needed replacement. I spoke with Thomas at Allied Garage door and he had the repairman Chase here within 2 days to replace the spring and install a new garage door opener. Thomas and I had already spoken of which opener I wanted and the price. Chase had the door opener and replaced it all within 3 hours.
Not only was Chase on time for the appointment, he was knowledgeable, respectful and patiently answered my MANY questions thru the process. He gave me helpful maintenance tips and did not leave until he thoroughly double checked the garage door opener, hinges, track ect.
I am very happy with my new garage door opener and was very pleased with the kindness and help Chase was in the process.

The worst company we've ever dealt with! I'd highly recommend going elsewhere before you get ripped off by this company. They charged us $90 and didn't even fix our door. We spoke to their manager who was completely rude and useless. Again, if you like dealing with an unethical awful company then Allied Overhead Door is for you!

Thursday afternoon before a three day weekend, our grange door spring snapped leaving the door inoperable. Not knowing exactly what to do, I found a number for garage repair in our neighborhood group page and called it. It turns out this was one on the employees' cell phone. This gentleman was very informative and helpful so much so that I did not call any other garage repair shops and just set up an appointment with Allied. The gentleman they came out was very nice and personable. He also did great work.

I recently purchased a motor opening system and had them install. Again the job was done quickly, but I had a few little tweaks that needed to be addressed.
