The guy I talked to was really persnickitty and made it super complicated. He asked me to call them back to schedule later when I had all the information ( the color of my lock of the house I had not moved into yet). I called him on it and he backpeddled but by then I had had enough. I canceled the appt. I called another locksmith in town and had an appt with a very friendly, articulate professional in 2 minutes.

If you like snarky "customer service" this place is for you. I have a few of their systems, and I get at least 1 false alarm a week. These systems are new, and have been problematic since day 1. They will always find a reason to bill you a service call. Don't fall victim for glass break sensors. They DON'T WORK! They promised they wouldn't false alarm, but the do all the time and will charge you service calls to come out and tell you there is nothing wrong with it. Then you get bills from the city from the false alarm if you miss the call.
I am blown away by the lack of care and response from this company. Last night the alarm on my business went off at 2am. The monitoring service asked if they should dispatch police? I said yes. They said you do not have a permit on file so we cannot dispatch police. I asked what is the point of having an alarm and paying to have it monitored if you cannot dispatch police? They do not care. I called into Allied asking what this is all about? They said the city requires a permit number. I said I have had this service for 1 year and this is the first I am hearing about this. They could care less. I explained I signed a 2 year contract to have an alarm and have it monitored and you do not issue a permit number to the city, knowing they require this? They could care less!!!! Told me to call get a permit from the city and then call them back. Do not understand how a company does business like this. Do not do business with these guys
Once again this company has failed me. I would stay away from their unethical business practices. I was told by the sales person I was signing a two year contract and we agreed on a 2 year contract. I have recently sold my business and explained I wanted to give the 30 days in writing because I have sold the business and they have come back and said I have signed a 3 year contract and can get out of it if I have the new owners sign up. How can I justify having the new owners sign up if I believe I have been taken advantage off. Do not let this happen to you. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!
I purchased a safe from this Company. I paid full price and paid delivery fees. I was told that someone would call that day and arrange delivery. Their customer service is terrible. After 4 days and no calls, I called and talked with Dominic, my salesman. (He lost my paperwork) It turns out that Allied hires out delivery, to a 3rd party. Dominic told me that someone would call that day to facilitate delivery. No surprise! (No call) The following day I got a call to finally arrange delivery. The movers were timely, but forgot to wipe their feet. They left my new safe locked and I had to call and get the basic open code. My safe apparently was a floor model at allied and came with no paperwork or warranty. Again I called Dominic and he assured me that he would e-mail me the reset codes that day. Customer service indeed! They arrived today, 3 days later. Since I am in Customer Service and have won awards, I can honestly say that if you can make your purchase anywhere else, save some agony, and shop elsewhere. Roland Lamarche
I ordered a safe for a Christmas present and was told it would be delivered on December 22nd as I looked at my e mail every day I seen the item was never shipped so I sent a e mail and was told it left the building, so I called to be told it was shipped and either someone stole it or fedex lost it and they didn't have any others in stock, so I called fedex and they investigation they never picked up the package so I called back to be told the same thing. So I bought something they didn't have and the manager wasn't very nice he was kinda rude when talking to the salesman he didn't seem to care that's why I called manager. Please don't waste you money here! All they could do is lie saying someone stole it or fedex lost it, when fedex never picked it up! actually what happened they never had the item they sold me.
Poor Customer Service for existing client--I have made four phone calls and sent one email over the past two weeks to Customer Service in an attempt to upgrade our Allied hardwired system to cell and implement their cell phone app called Total Connect. I have initiated all five communications with no return calls or emails. I am in the process of moving my service elsewhere.
Cut keys that most other locksmiths refused to do, have always always been a perfect match (not so with the general store) were super friendly and knowledgeable and had the best prices in town. They're just really careful and patient and it shows when the copy is as good as the original. Awesome!
Received an offer for a safe when I went to purchase it they chanced the price. Classic bait and switch. I would not work with these guys you can find the same stuff other places with better customer service.
Allie Alarm is a very stable, professional and realiable security firm for our home. We have been extremely pleased with their response times and assistant when we have needed it.
Poor customer service. Tried to change my service, they have to send a form, I fill it out and send back, then takes upwards of 30 days to make the changes. If I was adding an additional service I'm certain it would be done right away.
Contracts only go 1 way with them. We have 2 systems at 2 locations, and both false alarm constantly since day 1. They won't fix anything properly, so I just get the fun calls at 3am of the alarms going off and countless bills from the police department for false alarms that we missed. Now they won't fix it at all (per -Sarah Grill because it's out of warranty. Not that they actually fixed it while it was still in warranty), so I just have to pay the "service fee" but without any service to go with it (quote "the system just charges you and they can't do anything about it"). So now we have to get new alarm systems and still pay for these ones that don't work? Thanks guys, really professional. But don't worry, they are very sorry.
Now everyone knows our alarms don't work! But the crooks already knew that since we got burglarized downtown a couple weeks ago since they can see the panel from the door and it has a light on it letting them know.
This company has done a wonderful job setting up and maintaining my security system. They did not oversell me, but recommended what was needed. Although I have tripped the alarm on more than one occasion, they were always polite and considerate. I would not consider anyone else; Allied Fire & Security is doing a great job!
I had some serious issues with my system that caused me to receive many mid-night calls. Things aren't perfect with their customer service, but I feel that they are trying to make things better. We just had our system worked on by one of their senior technicians and I'm happy to report that its been running perfectly ever since.
Bought a safe from them a year ago. The sales man was more than helpful. Showed me How to change the combination . Explained the warranty and showed me to pros and cons of the safe. He helped me make a educated decision. The guys loaded the safe in my vehicle (small safe for my business) helped me tie it down. Wish all business treated there customers this way. Just wanted to finally take a minute to give my review even if it is a year later.
I have been going there for years..usually to get keys made. They were my go too guys. That is what I was blown away at the customer service I received September 27th near 4:30. The older gentlemen wouldn't even let me finish a sentence to explain what I needed before interrupting me. Saying you cannot do what I have been there to have done before, is one thing. Having a rude attitude to your customer is another. It is a shame that most of these negative reviews I see are concerning customer service or lack there of.
I didn t get the gentleman s name that helped me today but he provided great service in helping me out. I had a car key that broke off of the fob & he was able to figure it out & made a new one for me. Great customer service and really helpful. I ll definitely refer anyone I know to this location for assistance with key or alarm issues! Thanks again!
Annoyingly expensive. Annoying snobby. But you call the company and a company truck comes out and a professional person just does the job. It's hard to find legitimate locksmiths in Spokane. Very weird industry. You'll pay through the teeth for Allied, but you also get the best.
