I moved out of an apartment in Sherman Hill, left the place spotless, better than when I moved in actually, and they kept $100 of my security deposit because they shampooed the carpet. The carpet already looked great. It also took a long time for them to get me my deposit back at all.
Alliance Realty is difficult to get in touch with. Most of the time when I called the number that's listed I got a message taking service, basically a human voicemail.
My property manager was shady. He played nice sometimes but didn't shy away from a threat or a rewriting of history when it was to his advantage. When I was trying to move out and show my place to other tenants, he pushed people away before they even applied, costing me a whole extra month in rent.
I strongly suggest you hesitate before moving into a place owned by Alliance.
