I don’t recommend this insurance especially if your over 50 , l work for a large company & because l had to get health care l signed up for our Cigna/allegiance. They pay for very little, l am fairly certain Colonoscopies are part of your annual check ups depending on your age. A real insurance co should pay about 20% not this. Also l was notified by my dr office, l can no longer see a nurse practitioner. One would think this would be sent in writing to you personally, not Cigna they didn’t tell me l had to hear this from my dr & l ended up paying for that visit. SOMEONE NEEDS TO FIX OUR HEALTH CARE INSURANCE ITS REALLY BAD NOT LIKE IT WAS BEFORE OBAMA &BIDEN GOT A HOLD OF IT!!!

If I could give this company zero stars I would. I am not sure they care. Unfortunately I am stuck with this company to try to get my cobra installed. It is a very long story but the crux of the matter is that I was severely bullied by my previous full time employer who contracts with this company. I am working to take legal recourse at this time. I left to go to another job (which sounded wonderful when I took it) which has sadly turned out to be a part time job which is not what I signed up for. Sadly, I have had to use the money I would be putting towards my cobra premiums to pay for rent, food, groceries, utilities, so I was planning to use my credit card for payment for cobra. Oh, they don't take credit cards with this company for payments. When I called them to see if they could help me, it was, 'sorry about that, nothing we can do about it'. They asked me if I could get a Cashier's check from my CC. No, I cannot get a Cashier's check for my cobra due to my CC conditions. And...to make things worse, I only have around 14 days before my Cobra period expires due to my previous employer not sending my cobra stuff for about six weeks as they even admitted they dropped the ball. I don't want to go on Obamacare exchange as there are no companies that contract through rural NV for the upcoming year and most of them have already left the state. Thanks Obamacare and thanks Allegiance for helping the hard working people of America to continue to be healthy (not). I am going to keep working my bum off to make a better life for myself and my family, no thanks to you and my crappy employers. I am happy to discuss this matter if you want to contact me. I am just sad, emotional, and asking for help...sad that I have to ask for help when I worked my bum off going to school/working full time since I was 14 and despite having two doctorate degrees...

Edit: spoke with Angela. She went through the same spiel as the other people I have spoken with. Yes, I have been on the phone for 6 hours now trying to fix this and I have been told my options (ie Obamacare, etc). Except she did explain to me one more option, which honestly, does not help all that much as I am not sure it will work. She even flat out said that they cannot extend my cobra availability to sign up due to laws (ok, I get that but it is UNFAIR that my employer took 6 weeks after my notice to get it in to them) and that they do not take CCs due to the 1.5-3% fees for them. Fine then, allow me to lose my health coverage over their fear to lose $15-30, which I would gladly pay but law states I cannot as a consumer. Thanks a lot. I am not changing the star rating because she still didn't seem to care and did not help me to find any true solution at this time. If I do find a solution, I will change the rating. BTW: Anthem (my most recent insurer) has been AMAZING through this. Too bad I can't go through them to get my cobra started.

Absolutely no help on the customer service line, and after asking for a supervisor multiple times I finally received a voicemail. Absolutely horrible high deductible plan that is absolutely no help to employees at all.

I feel sorry for you if you have this company managing your healthcare claims administration. If you are an employee of an employer that has contracted with this company, you get stuck with expensive medical bills even if you have done everything by the book like getting pre-certified and using in-network providers. Don't bother appealing, you just spend a lot of time and work justifying your case to just get the same response. They con companies saying they can save them money by administering their healthcare claims, but in the end they deny and underpay claims leaving the employee paying large out of pocket medical bills.

Over the last few days I have dealt with (in our home) a large issue regarding diabetes supplies. I have had the GREAT pleasure of working with a gentleman name John who has tried I swear to move mountains for me. He has gone above and beyond to help this very frustrated mother try everything to resolve our issue. He has been incredibly friendly and understanding and just been an amazing person to work with. I am so very grateful for all of his help he has offered over last few days

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! My brother has this insurance through work. He pays HIGH premiums and has a HIGH deductible. He was recently in a car accident (as the passenger) and has been in a coma for 3 wks now. We have been trying to get him moved to a better facility and out of the hospital ICU, but this company doesn't want to pay out!! They are trying to tell us we need to pay them back if he comes into any money later. Worst insurance company ever. Employers need to do their research before signing up with them!!!

1/30/17 Prescription co-pay for Zofran: $19.21 1/30/17 Prescription co-pay for Omeprazole:$10.15
3/6/17 Prescription co-pay for Zofran: $80.69 3/6/17 Prescription co-pay for Omeprazole: $39.99 (about 10 bucks more than I can purchase over the counter). Suck a fat one Cigna/Allegiance. Edit: I was able to contact customer service. I spoke with Sheila (she is the reason for the one more star). As it turns out, it was a glitch in their system. I would have upped the star count to four had it not been for the generic response from im the owner blaming the cost of pharmaceuticals. The cost of the meds had not increased. It was only my copay. I still really miss BCBS.

Allegiance appears to be committed to a "deny all claims" model that centers around looking for coding errors and typos on claims that require a process to be vetted through several layers of appeal. They routinely lose paperwork or make estimation errors, all in their favor of course, and hope that people give up and pay the bills. I do not know where to get started with these people, but they are the worst, true bottom feeders. In regards to your response , thank you for the quick turn around, but with all due respect, I don't trust Allegiance so I'll respectively pass on your offer to discuss my concerns. I can only hope enough people step forward and make the situation right, or something changes prior to that. All cards on the table, I'm fearful that I'd be retaliated against if I attempted to talk with you about my concerns, which is sad, but if you ever had to deal with these guys, you'd understand.

Allegiance representatives are the trifecta of rude, clueless, and lazy. Every time I have called to get information on a very routine, common question I have received a different answer from a very rude customer "service" representative. I am shocked and totally disappointed by the poor quality of service this company provides. I intend to write a letter to the Better Business Bureau and to Allegiance complaining about the service I have received and identifying specific employees for particularly rude behavior (I'm looking at you, Laurie!). Not that any of us really have a choice in benefit management plans, but this one is particularly bad. be warned.

Do not go with Allegiance!! We had a neighbor s kid come over to our house and unfortunately fell climbing a tree and broke her arm. Rather than Allegiance doing their job and paying for the injury as is normal and what the parent wanted, Allegiance reported it is normal for their company to force the home owner where the accident happened to file an insurance claim. This costs me time, energy and big picture wise, money, as home owners insurance rates go up.

The accident happened three months ago and Allegiance is still playing games with the family and hasn t paid the hospital. Latest note from insurance was they need to have a denied claim from my home owners insurance for them to pay for the injury.

The Mom told me if she knew Allegiance was going to do this, she would have just reported that it happened at their house.

From now on, I will be asking parents what insurance they have prior to allowing their kid to come over. If they have allegiance, their kids aren t allowed at my house. This will be the unattended cost of going with allegiance if you are a parent and their ridiculous policies get out to other parents. It is sad that this is the world allegiance wants us to live in. So sad! Terrible company!
