Food would have been gorgeous had it been vaguely warm! Service poor waited an hour for food then 3 things on menu not available at 7 on a Monday? Staff very young and huddled together at bar chatting had to tell them to clear plates and More

My food, the pizza was overall nice, however waiting times took a while. My sister unfortunately had multiple bones in her chicken burger, it also tasted a bit weird when I tried it, definitely recommend the place though.

Best fish n chips for a long time. Bit breezy sitting by the door as lots of people coming n going. There were 4 in company so if there was a table further inside that would have been preferred

Paul Scott, following wonderful meal on Friday night at Allards Tynemouth high street made way to Allards on the quay for breakfast on 15th Dec, 3 of us most impressed with decor and service which was top notch, from there on downhill I am afraid, all 3 meals luke warm, compounding this the front door was continually being blown/left open causing awful draught on one of the coldest days of the year. Further improvements needed

Let's get this honest from the start. The tapas was lovely but the deserts weren't (more on that later). Non existant social distancing. Staff weren't wearing masks. Tables blocked one way system.
The deserts - orderred apple cheesecake it was hard base with sloppy cream with no cheesecake involved served in a martini glass. Chocolate orange brownie was chocolate brownie with 2 mini orange chocolates on it. Then orderred dark and stormy cocktail. Now the thing to note is here is the word dark. It arrived and it was as dark as water, when asked the bar man what it was as he was beating a retreat, he said they didn't have dark rum but used white instead and thought I wouldn't notice. So more like light and windy rather dark and stormy so orderred a beer instead!

This was a Tuesday definitely avoid at weekends in current situation

We went here midweek. Large family dinner. Place was lively with a nice atmosphere. Staff were friendly and happy to help cater to the needs of the children.
Good range of food and drink so everyone was satisfied.
Good experience and would go back again for more.

Food was beautiful.

Food was beautiful.
However service was not the best
Walked in the resteraunt made our own way to sit down.
Sat for about 10minutes before anyone come over for drinks.
Had to ask for cuttlery on the table.
Told we couldnt order for 20minutes as there was a turn around after breakfast.
No check back on the food at all.
And literally sat and shouted over for the bill which they didnt hear. Had to wait and wave over for attention.
Our first time visiting aswell..
Just a tip be more attentive to your guests and thats how people will leave you a tip.

The mussels were the smallest ones I've ever had and sadly didn't taste of much - I think they'd been microwaved then added to the sauce, rather than being cooked in the sauce, so had dried out and shrivelled up. My mum had a toastie with the thickest bread, which was really too much bread for her, but good if you like that. Overall, a bit disappointing compared to previous visits.

My husband and I stopped off for breakfast yesterday and were really disappointed. The breakfasts were out before I'd even had time to brew and out milk into my tea and has clearly. Not been made to order. My husband's bacon and black puddingwas dry, the potatoes soggy - it looked as though it had been sat out under a heat lamp for some time. The staff very kindly swapped the blueberries on my pancakes for fresh fruit but what came out was not fresh. The strawberries were discoloured and going soft. Changed immediately on request but not whay we were expecting. Very disappointing and unlikely to go back.
