It was the first time I went to this Hotel and immediately upon arrival I was amazed by the majesty of the structure, which was also surrounded by nature, surrounded by giant, beautiful trees; I did not visit the inside of the hotel but only the congress area which was clean, tidy and precise, whose staff proved to be available and very polite, the same goes for the clean and perfumed bathrooms. Surely an environment like this will have its cost but I believe that those who can afford it will not have to regret anything.

Excellent location, refined hotel, 4-star restaurant, to improve the small indoor pool by equipping it with hot jets, there were 2 cold jets.

Important location. Friendly and attentive service. Well kept. Some rooms are truly fascinating with frescoes and decorations.

In the city but surrounded by greenery, you wake up in the morning only with the chirping of birds. The SPA is very relaxing. You can also take a small guided tour of the hotel; being a historic residence it was adapted to be a hotel but they tried to leave almost everything as it was originally. I stayed only one night and I regretted not having booked for longer. Really a nice weekend. Then from there in half an hour you reach Lake Trasimeno and Perugia

Beautiful hotel. The only issue we had was it was too far from town. Other than that, we had a great meal with exceptional service. The rooms are large and comfortable. The staff at the front desk are extremely helpful.

Came for a wedding here and the hotel were fantastically accommodating. Stunning, chilled, great food and wine, clean with a touch of luxury. I could have stayed for another week!

Very well-kept and very pleasant residence just to walk around its gardens, to move from one building to another.
I was able to appreciate it in the restaurant service since my professional order organized the Christmas greeting dinner several times.
Fast service, the courses are refined and unusual but not for this extravagant, welcoming locations whether it be old rooms or new structures, with attention to the smallest details.

Superb historic villa surrounded by a beautiful park ..... the customer is literally pampered .... marvelous

very beautiful and elegant structure, but there is an air of neglect from the receptionist's joke about my accent, from the dirty elevator carpet, from the missing shower curtain, the wood of the unsafe bed ... not to mention the SPA: door of the sauna creaking, drain attappato emotional shower, turkish bath handle broken, scoppolato floor ... shame really, are trifles that such a place should not have.

Beautiful and personal period residence at the height of the place excellent food

Splendid context: a period villa that, despite having maintained its beauty and majesty, is adapted to modernity while maintaining its relationship with its architecture and surrounding nature unchanged. The surrounding gardens offer a beautiful walk in a suggestive and beautiful green area. The Spa is essential and without excessive pomposity; large and very clean rooms. Beautiful breakfast room, located in a greenhouse overlooking the gardens. The entire structure is a refusal to urbanity, although it is easily accessible from the historic center. A praise to the owner and to all the staff that, with kindness and courtesy, meets the needs of the guests and makes the stay extremely pleasant.

Very nice, cozy villa, beautiful garden and well maintained

The hotel deserves 4 stars, but at 24 we had a water leak in the toilet of our vagno. Result: local alkagato, inability to use the toilet and still charged us full price. This is not correct.

4 star hotel, which only deserves 2. Everything is rundown and much does not work. Not recommended.

Refined restaurant with uncommon dishes, 5-star service and friendliness

If you arrive in these days the spa pool is not accessible !!!!!
Wonderful place, historic residence transformed into a very nice and elegant hotel. 5 star cleanliness. 5-star spa care. Outdoor spaces and 5-star rooms. Unfortunately I had to remove a Star for 2 reasons:
1. Arriving at the spa they showed us the route, when I asked about the heated pool they told me they had a problem and it was unusable. To be forgiven they offered me a face mask. Too bad I had spoken on the phone 48h before my arrival and they hadn't mentioned anything to me. I would have found it more correct to let me know in advance. Not bad, there's a nice outdoor pool.
2. For dinner there is not much nearby, so we asked for info at the reception, unfortunately the clerk at that moment dismissed us with a rude manner, unlike his colleague who had been very kind on our arrival.
We had dinner in the restaurant, we eat well.

Enchanting park, classy restaurant, elegant hospitality

The first and only time I was in this venue was on the occasion of a company dinner, so the only part I could see was the one reserved for events. In the room called "Scuderia" an aperitif was held, complete with a jazz band, prosecco and snacks. Dinner time. A well-structured menu and good dishes (Posta Donini is rated as one of the best restaurants in terms of quality and presentation of the dishes), however a first among those proposed on the menu, which also contained ingredients with possible interesting flavors, unfortunately only knew of lemon. Overall a nice dinner and a good welcome. The light was soft and candles and decorations on the table made the trio of glasses shine. Really nice

And congratulations to the restaurant of the hotel "Pantagruel" dinners there were truly a pleasure.

We stayed two nights in this beautiful restored villa with taste and raffinetezza. Already accessing the lobby it seems to go back in time, exactly at the beginning of the 20th century. There are ample spaces in which to laze, sofas, armchairs, bookcases and dozens of furnishing objects that alone would take an entire afternoon to be admired. The room is also furnished finimente, especially the bathroom seems to have arrived unscathed from the early 900. From the window you could enjoy relaxing views of the landscaped park.
Breakfast is served in a kind of sun set of the grove of oaks at the back. All very good, from cookies and pies prepared daily, to the salty, drinks and more. We did not have dinner in the attached restaurant Pantagruel but certainly (judging from the comments of the other guests) it will also have been an excellence.
Carinissima the idea of finding room a little book with a map of the park and the indication of the species of trees that are there: an invitation to walk in relax. Absolutely recommended!

A stone's throw from Perugia is this splendid estate. Several factory buildings give shape to the common areas, the Spa, halls and lounges, the wine cellar and finally the restaurant. It really deserves a visit and a why, a relaxing break in the Spa. Recommended the restaurant Pantagruel ...

A wonderful place with a warm welcome. We have been missing you for a while due to personal issues, but up until some time I went there even twice a year.

The Posta dei Donini is a timeless place, which allows the visitor to forget for a while the feverish pace of the clock hands. The park that surrounds it plays a decisive role in this: green and large trees, the absence of city noises pleasantly isolate without ever giving the feeling of being forgotten by the world.
The period residence is elegant, vast and peaceful. But relaxation is accompanied by high quality services and cuisine based on local products.
The staff is always kind, empathic and quick to understand and support the visitor.
Not cheap, price appropriate to the service provided.
Certainly recommended.

Period residence surrounded by a spectacular park dating back to 1570 of extraordinary beauty .... Rooms with fascinating frescos and stuccos that tell extraordinary stories of a family, that of the Donini, who came to Umbria from the Veneto after the mid-1500 ... Today the Posta dei Donini (it was placed for the change and refreshment of the horses) is an important Restaurant usable both by a few bystanders, and by groups, a conference room and of course Hotel.
WHAT TO SAY ... Worth a careful visit

Wonderful place, the perfectly restored Villa is surrounded by a beautiful park kept in an impeccable way. Very nice swimming pool surrounded by a perfect setting for having an aperitif.
The Spa offers excellent treatments and a comfortable environment with a heated pool.
The large, clean and stylishly designed room.
The restaurant offers a varied and refined menu, excellent from appetizers to desserts.
But the best thing was the staff: trained and efficient but above all very welcoming staff who put us at ease making our stay even more magical.
A stop that anyone passing near Perugia must absolutely do.

A lovely hotel with delicious food and wonderful amenities. The staff all speak English well, and are friendly and helpful. The room itself could use a little more storage space, and the wardrobe area is somewhat short. A fitness area is listed as an option, though other than a pool there's not much else for exercise. A spa is attached to the hotel which is very nice, and a full menu is given of their programs. There is are conditioning in the rooms, which is very nice, especially in July. The breakfast is amazing, with delicious cappuccino made at your request, and fresh breads, pastries, and juices.
Overall a wonderful place to stay, the best hotel I've been to.
