Most pathetic company, my boyfriend is a first year apprentice carpenter with all trades he just had 3 weeks of no work trying to contact his host every day asking about what s going on with no answer. Meanwhile we see ads up on seek Carpenter apprentices desperately needed
Always has his pay stuffed around, it s 2018 and it s still a paper system.
Never actually knows if he s gonna have work or not, when he s got just as many bills to pay as anyone else.
Ridiculous management.

It's been 6 months and I am still currently in the "Talent pool", I'm beginning to think that said talent pool is basically a lie they tell to gently let people know they aren't fit for what trade they are seeking, I've done 2 interviews where they had said you'll be guaranteed in a trade within a fortnight.
6 months later and I am still waiting.

They are useless, make you drive an hour just to tell you that you need to get experience in a trade to get an apprenticeship... could of just had a phone call tbh. Plus the whole point of an apprenticeship is that you will get experience.

I'm 19 and have an apprenticeship in painting, I really enjoy the work and how helpful alltrades is whenever I have an issue. The pay is minimum wage like most apprenticeship but you also get allowances.
I believe alltrades has stepped up and heard everyone's complaints and started fixing them

All trades provided me with all the right opportunities i needed during my time. The time i spent being in permanent positions and changing hosts taught me many approaches to the industry, plus it gave me a phone book of potential employers for the future. I didnt expect anything more, or less From All Trades. They done what they needed all i had to do was WORK HARD to earn my place in the Host's company/business. I was a apprentice from 2008 - 2012 and now i run my own Staircase Company here in Brisbane. Alot of my knowledge comes from the quality Tradesmen that All Trades had set me up during my time.

If there was anything less than 1 star I would rate it that. Field officers never pick up their phones. I have had countless incidents where I would be thrown under the bus. Stop paying people to give you 5 star reviews and fix the actual problems

Went into office.

Went into office.
Asked to talk to somebody about mature age apprenticeship.
Was told to go home and fill out application online and somebody will get in contact. After filling in app was advised if something becomes available they will be in contact.
Went back to office..Again! Was told that some one will contact me if i don't suit the job i applied for in about 1-2wks.
I had to choose a random job and fill out a questionnaire to be told someone will call me in a week or so.
Will i get to talk to someone face to face?
What a laugh.

Disgusting if I could give a negative I would.

Disgusting if I could give a negative I would.
I did my apprenticeship through All trades and that was fine but when I came close to finishing and I asked if they could help me find a job I was told no problem instead they dodged my phone calls and ignored my texts/emails and to this day almost 3 months since leaving I have not heard anything back.

Edit: This review is not on the fact they didn't get me a job.
This review is on the fact that they brought me in to finalize and tried to push me to do my Cert 4 telling me I wont get a job without it obviously to earn some money off my enrollment. Told them I wasn't interested in a cert 4 as its a last resort.
They were never committed to helping me with what I wanted or needed at the end of the day it was obviously about what ever they make on signing me up.
I asked them to help me find work yes, as well as myself looking for work.
You know help cover all bases. When I had any inquires my calls went ignored, my emails ignored. I had to chase for a separation certificate and my payment summary.
I was unemployed for 6 months I then contacted multiple times in regards to either doing my cert 4 or doing a trade again calls ignored and emails ignored.
Everyone I spoke to needs to learn customer service as they were rude and unhelpful I would call and get passed around to multiple people to then be told - Sorry we cant help

So my 1 star review is very much justified.

The apprenticeship was advertised on Seek as avail...

The apprenticeship was advertised on Seek as available, my son goes through the process(just over a week from position advertised) which is not a bad turn around time. They call him up to come for an interview for the advertised position, he gets to the interview only to be told that they currently do not have any vacancies but they would like to refer him to a Cert 1 introduction course (5 weeks of him not in the workforce) and they would recommend he do this although they could not guarantee him a position even if he did the Cert 1.(covering their own backsides). He was advised the consultant would be in touch within the week. They ring back and start talking about the Cert 1 no mention of the Apprenticeship, when he said he did not wish to complete the Cert 1 as he's had a look at the modules and what was covered and has already covered the majority of this in his secondary studies so does not see it as being beneficial - they advised his application would have to be declined..Surprise Surprise.. This is just a long shot, but maybe the company should actually advertise for the position they are trying to fill. All things point to this being for the Cert 1 and not for an apprenticeship, stop sucking young people in just so the company can get "bums on seats" and their little percentage for referring candidates to training. Actually spend the time trying to source the positions that you're advertising you have.

The most unorganized, unprofessional business in the industry. Have had an apprentice direct and used them for a training organisation. Training is insufficient and a a waste of everyones time to the point my 3rd year was told to vacuum their workshop. Having an apprentice direct was nothing by rude staff, not returning calls, not supplying basics eg statement.

Very awful, my son has been for 4 interviews with them and are quite rude when noting you are not suitable for the position even when you suit all needs for the job role do not go here. waste of time, waste of energy

God. What a nightmare this place was.

God. What a nightmare this place was.

I started my apprenticeship with about 3 months constant work then after that host employer I kept getting little jobs like 1 day a week and there was one instance when I couldn t get a shift for a month due to the terrible planning.

Oh and the amount of stuff I told them and still considered to not only not care about their workers general safety but also not help them in the slightest I the field.

Also loved busting my butt for only 250 bucks for a 38 hour work week.

Should of went to uni.

I had a interview with them a few months ago in regards to a plumbing apprenticeship. At the end of the interview they said "we will give you a call during the week". Well that never happened. So I call you guys a week later to see whats happening, all I got was we will give you a call, I call again same thing happened. So now I still haven't heard anything, not even a email. Seriously stop screwing around and say something. We have a right to know if we were successful or unsuccessful. I will never recommend you to anyone.

Absolutely useless. ATQ advertise apprenticeships, you go in for the interview and they advise you to take a cert I or cert II course that'll help get you the apprenticeship. I traveled to Gold Coast every day from Brisbane for just under two months burning through $$ left right & centre, they rush your through the course & don't want anything to do with you after that, because as far as they're concerned they have their $$ from the government. I tried to call after to get another interview for an apprenticeship, they say "yep, let me find out & we'll call you back" I waited a couple days & still no call back, repeated the process & they said the same thing, AGAIN & no call back.. I have kept in touch with 3 others I done the course with & they're going through the exact same problem. ATQ just push you do to the course & rush you through it so they can get paid by the government for us completing it, they don NOT CARE!! Greedy greedy greedy mother f**kers. All they care about is the money & they have 0 care for their stundents. Utterly disappointed, 0 $$ left in my account & nothing I can do. Thanks for all your help, ALL TRADES, bloody hopeless

ONLY INTERESTED CHILD LABOUR AT $8.50 HR
Went to an interview for an electrical apprenticeship.
The person who interviewed me had absolutely no knowledge of the job i was applying for.
could not find the most basic information required to do the interview.
she spent most of the time fondling her ipad and telling me it was so far to walk 2 minutes for coffee she had trouble deciding whether she should walk or drive...
i told her she should get a bike...she thought that was a teally good idea....

Ok where to start. I cannot believe that with all of today s technology, they still have a paper system for doing time sheets. The apprentice has to fill out the time sheet and hand it to the host employer for them to sign off and approve and than fax to all trades all by 12pm every Tuesday. Too many times, my sons pay never went into his account on Friday morning due to having to rely on host employers, who were either too busy or forgot, and it s the poor apprentice who suffers.
All they are interested in is numbers, your field officer gets bonuses for putting on so many apprentices per month and that is for a new start only. So they are all keen to get you signed up, once you re in, they ignore your phone calls, they don t return phone calls and this is mostly regarding pays. They one thing you need most.
They need to have an online system where all trades, apprentice and host can see apprentice time sheets. They could also have reminders sent to apprentice and host about time sheets. That way in the event a host ignores reminders to approve time sheets, all trades can have a clause to the host that if they don t sign off, they will pay what the apprentice has entered and will be billed according. It s all so easy to not pay the apprentice instead of over charging the host.
I got my son out of there as quick as I could!
Hang your heads in shame all trades!

All trades Queensland training facility was an exceptional place to get accredited. I moved from NSW and had to redo all my certificates for the ESO and all trades Queensland handled my case with care and pointed me in the right direction. The training factory had everything needed to get the job done and the online portion of the courses was easy to manage and follow . The training Craig was very professional and proud to be teaching younger generation of electricians and he passed us when he was happy with our educated responses to all the training material.
All trades training wasnt the cheapest but it was the most efficient and efficient at getting the qualifications needed.
Highly rated this registered training organisation.

These guys are absolutely horrible, there s never enough staff to answer your calls and when I was an apprentice they were horrible at finding hosts for me. Absolute trash company, do not recommend at all.

I would not recommend All Trades Queensland to any...

I would not recommend All Trades Queensland to anyone who wants to do an Apprenticeship. While I was with them, I went through about a dozen different businesses within a 2 month period, from cabinet makers, to carpenters, to demolition, to even cleaning jobs, and during my time with them I learned nothing at all about my chosen trade (shop fitting). It felt like I was being hired by these businesses to just help them with one job, then when that job was done I was simply asked to leave and then All Trades just sent me on to the next business that needed that extra hand.
When I tried to contact All Trades about trying to find a more permanent position, I was asked to come into their office at Shailer Park and if I would like to change my chosen trade because there wasn't enough work for me. I suggested plumbing or being an electrician and All Trades then asked my to write a declaration and sign at date it stating that I would no longer be a shop fitter anymore. I thought it was a bit strange, but I wrote it anyway. Once I was done, a staff member told me they would be in touch very soon. Yet I heard nothing back for them, I waited about a week then tried to call their office and they kept saying they'd get back to me, but never did. I wrote emails, tried to call every day to get any sort of contact, yet it just felt as if I had been black listed and there was nothing I could do. I later realised that this declaration they asked me to sign, had just lost me my job and I had been given false information to sign this form.
All Trades Queensland seem like a good business on the surface, but they really aren't interested in helping you find and keep an apprenticeship. All they want is the $9 an hour labor, and if you question your position they will throw you out and just put in the next willing worker in your place.

Was a past apprentice from December 2015 to technically February this year, but never had work from October 2016 due to getting a workplace injury.

Just wondering what s happening with the back pay the apprentices are meant to be getting if that s for former apprentices or just current ones because I barely got work with you guys in 2016.
