This Resort is quite nice, and it is very comfortable in the rooms. The pools there are okay, and the food is extremely expensive. Overall, staying at this resort was a relatively pleasant experience.
Rooms way to far from car. Can't get a bell service...long time. Rooms not stocked!
Needs updating very badly, now they charge you $13.00 a day on top of room charge to park your car ?????

Apart from an initial poor experience in the dining hall, the entire experience has been above and beyond expectations. Exemplary service, beautiful weather and short wait times have made this a truly magical vacation.
I've stayed at all kinds of hotels and resorts. I'm not a picky person per se, but I've certainly seen better and I've seen worse. Having said all that, I was expecting the All-Star Music Resort to be much worse than it was based on negative reviews.
Outside, it's a motel-type situation where there is a group of buildings that have the same exactly layout with doors to each room that open to the outside. And yes, the colors and theme are quite garish and bright. But the landscaping is very beautiful and pulls your attention back to earth rather than to the colorful facade around you. The pools are very clean and nice. The water was the perfect temperature. There was nary a dandelion or dead leaf or piece of trash to be found at any time. We saw bunnies, birds and little lizards during our stay on the property. There s a big guitar shaped pool with lots of action and music. The piano shaped pool is quiet and peaceful.
Indoors, we were in a family suite. There is one bedroom with a queen sized bed, and in the main area the sofas and ottoman turn into 3 more beds. There was a handy desk with charging outlets. It was clean, but there was some dust on the lampshade the entire stay. No big deal. Housekeeping came regularly and gave us lots of towels and toiletries; paper towel and disposable dinnerware. There was a nice little fridge and microwave. The showers were great and I appreciate the clothesline for the wet things.
Amenity-wise, there are few. There is a game room, a gift shop, and a food court area. This is all in the front building, so if you don t like walking I would try to reserve a room in the Calypso section (which we did). Not only is this the place to be for the fun stuff, but this is closest to the bus stops too. I m sure the other sections of the resort are quieter, if that s your thing. They do offer a poolside concession area which includes beer. Also by the big pool, there were free activities every day. The young people directing the activities were full of energy and fun ideas. We loved this. My husband and I even played bingo; and the kids did dances and water balloon games. Again, the big guitar pool area is where the action is.
After a few nights, I did yearn for a little bit of quiet and neutral colors. But for the price and the convenience for staying on Disney s property, I don t think All-Star Music disappoints.

Was a good hotel, although was full of school kids and on a night was very noisy with them coming back in early hours and shouting and screaming on way back to their rooms, when I had kids trying to get to sleep. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pools were lovely, and open until 11pm

Incredible hotel, easy to navigate, very affordable.
We love the Disney Value Resorts. Since we don't spend much time in the room these resorts are perfect. We showed up this year to the surprise that our room was upgraded to a family suite. This was extremely nice considering we have a toddler. Everyone at the resort is extremely helpful. They go out of their way to make sure your stay is magical. Housekeeping always did little extras to our room which was an added surprise. We had to visit the front desk a couple times and they were always quick too assist. Can't wait to go back again!

The hotel is nice situated in a good spot a decent distance from everything, buses run great to get you back and forth from the attractions and hotel.
It's a good, affordable place to sleep on Disney priperty. It isn't super luxurious and the amenities are average, but it gets you on property with amazing benefits for cheap!
I went for a gathering with my family and I had the best time possible. The pool was clean and we watched a movie. The speakers weren't extremely loud which also improved my stay. I wished that the room would've had a microwave but it was a fun ans kid friendly environment. I enjoyed the family time and the resort.
Awful old moldy hotel, no amenities, water or coffe in rooms... standard in hotels. Pools close before parks close, no hot tubs or community hang out. I would not stay here again.
Decent hotel for the price. Be aware that if you end up in one of the farther buildings, (I was in country fair #5) it is quite a hike to the food court/bus stop. In some cases, the facilities at All Star Sports may be a shorter walk. The bus service is by far the best perk, never too long of a wait. Room was clean, everything in working order, nice hot shower. Very small rooms, I imagine it would be quite cramped for a family of four, but for a couple it s perfect size. Staff is phenomenal and they have a laundromat on site. Biggest cons: charge for parking per day, long walk back to room from bus stop, ridiculously inflated food and drink cost, no coffee maker in room.

I think that all their sidewalks should be of the moving variety. After walking miles and miles at one of the amazing parks you practically have to crawl to your room. Other than that it's a great place!

Not the best place to stay due to small rooms, single vanities and worn carpets but it is an economy resort and the price is comparable to hotels off property. Overall, it's hard to beat the value to be on property when you love Disney the way my family does!
Very affordable. It's Disney, so you can't go wrong. The pool...and the pool bar...are both great. Why pay more for a room you're only going to sleep in!?! All-Star is where it's at!
So far not so good.when i booked the vacation i told them i wanted two rooms. Poolside.we have two rooms in the back of the building with a view of the maintance workers cart and a view of a parking lot.it's been over 5 hours and we still have no suitcases
Small rooms, sink separate from bathroom. Parking is far, far from rooms and roller carts are hard to find. And it was a pretty good hike to the pool, too. At least it had a refrigerator. Not my favorite place to stay in Orlando, but sort of convenient for visiting the parks--you can take a bus from the hotel and not have to deal with Disney parking.
Great for kids 2 pools alot of actives and awesome set up.
This resort is extremely old and outdated. The beds were full sized! The toilet was dirty and the whole room felt dirty. I can not believe these rooms are are still rented! The staff was helpful and promptly moved us to another resort, which was newly renovated.
The resort is wonderful for those looking for a comfortable stay with access to the parks. Highly recommended!
It was an awesome hotel staff wise and the pool area was amazing but honestly the two stars is for the look and comfortablity of the room because it's simply just too old looking and needs a renovation badly, Ive also been to art of animation and this doesn't even come close to it. Probably wouldn't stay at this specific resort again.
Great place to stay to make your Disney experience even better! The themed buildings and pools were awesome and having a quick, free ride to and from the parks made our trip worry free.
Besides losing our request to be in a specific building the resort experience has been great. The room was clean, has all the modern things you would expect from a hotel. The bathroom is outdated.
My only complaint is the staff member letting people into PhilharMagic attraction. She was very rude and demeaning. Not Disney rude, real rude. Talk to a manager rude.

The resort is good with plenty of amenities and activities. However, the bus service does seem to be hit and miss at this resort.
So impressed with the staff, how kind, friendly, and helpfull they were. The hotel was so cool with all the different music erras. Very happy place! Very clean and fun activities for the kids. I highly recommend All Star Music Resort and can't wait to come back. All the food was huge portions and delicious.
This place is in dire need of renovations. The beds are no longer comfortable, the bathrooms are questionable (there was mold in mine and a long black hair on my "clean towels" 8/25/18), and the lock mechanism was falling off my door. The pools were clean, and they did do games and stuff for the kids, so that was nice. And its Disney, so you may have received a good deal on the room, but expect to pay out the wazoo for anything else, esp food. I expect this at some motel off I-192, but I expected better from Disney. As much money as they make, the experience should have been cleaner. Next time I'm staying at one of Universals resorts.

But overall Music is my number one favorite. Very nice Employees very friendly and nice tooms as well. Next time i visit Orlando my choice is gonna be all star music 100%
While the room decor seemed a bit dated, our stay was excellent. The family suite was roomy and clean. Housekeeping was observant and left extras of things we were using more frequently. We even returned from the parks to find my daughter's stuffed animal "looking out of" the window. I appreciated the option of online check-in and door unlock with the app. We had just driven 15+ hours and it was a relief to skip the front desk and just crash. The hotel atmosphere was nice, it wasn't too busy or loud and the limited staff that I did interact with were friendly and helpful.
We love this property. Some of the best customer service we have ever had. Been guests a couple of times this year. Definitely recommend. Ask for Andrew, one of the best hospitality managers I've ever done business with.
They had a huge section of the parking lot closed off by our building so there was no where for us to park anywhere near our building.
I found it very expensive for what is offered, but it is Disney right, so you pay for the dream. It has direct bus to the parks but we stayed half an hour waiting and went on foot rs the room was not renovated so it was old, had no microwave, only fridge. Swimming pools great and has restaurants, cinema for children ...

this was my third time at disney world, but my first time and last time in a disney world resort. to start, you can t get a trolly for your luggage to get to your room, you have to carry it in yourself. the rooms are tiny, barely enough room for my family of four. bathrooms are so small that you can barely open the door while standing in it. room didn t have a coffee pot or just regular hotel amenities. we found multiple roach like bugs in the shower in the week we were there. overall the room looks like a cheap motel 6 that hasn t been renovated since the 90 s. last year we stayed in a comfort inn, it was half the price and was twice as nice. you re just paying for the disney name, when the rooms barely resemble anything disney. don t stay here, stay in a hotel like comfort inn, save your money and get a better room. the staff was very friendly which did make the experience slightly better.
I came here to pick up a friend, it seemed like a very nice hotel. Although I didn't stay very long I feel like I may consider in the future
After staying at the all Star music resort, I must say it is one of the nicest budget hotels Disney has to offer. Very nice and clean rooms. Excellent service from all cast members.
Staffs are kind basically. But they didn't take my call many times. So I used Disney app to contact with them indirectly.
My family lives staying at Disney All-Star Sports. The rooms were clean and beds comfy. The swimming pools were awesome, they had games for the kids to play at poolside and gave out prizes. The food was alright and expensive, but hey it's Disney. If your starting for longer I'd recommend having groceries delivered to front desk. They show movies at the pool during nighttime too, so much fun.
All Star Music is one of my favorite Disney hotels. As a musician and avid music lover it not only fits my needs, but entertains me even as I'm walking to and from my room. :)
It is a typical value resort. Room and shower. The theming is beautiful. The food court is better than most
Very clean, and has buses right out front for all of Disney Parks. My only complaint is that my bed was really springy, you could feel them compress when you laid on the bed.
Although it s one of Disney s budget hotels, it s a great option for Disney goers that want an affordable place to stay and comfortable place to sleep for the little amount of time you spend at the hotel while at Disney. The rooms were clean, the food options were good and for a group of adults that spent most of the days at the parks and only came back for power naps and overnight it was a great way to save money and still get a clean room with good food.
