Love the agents and this company. I see a lot of poor reviews but to my knowledge, their experience is not with the company as a whole, maybe just an agent or a particular property. I know a few agents and they have helped my friends/family find great homes!

Still major leaks in bathroom. Took months to fix my heat in the middle of winter. Now AC doesn't work. Two words Slum Lord. Don't bother calling the office they will just play games and send you back to the property manager. Don't bother calling owner of property they will hide behind the property manager. My next step will be the media.

All Pros Realty provided me with excellent service...

All Pros Realty provided me with excellent service and advice. After living in NYC, NJ, PA and Ohio, I was delighted to be met with such support from Top Agent Patrick Venditti along with the owner/ broker and his wife! Their personal touch and genuine interest was evident in all the detailed work they provided. They took care of me through the sale of 2 homes over recent years! They made my situation: divorce... very positive and win/win. Hats off to a Top Notch professional organization with a personal touch!

I would NEVER rent through this management company...

I would NEVER rent through this management company again. I'm sure others' experiences will differ based off the employee(s) they worked with, but my experience was not positive.
First and foremost, I ended up having to PAY almost a weeks worth of utilities for the next tenant out of my OWN pocket due to the disrespectful mannerisms and blatant lies of our property manager, on top of other unnecessary charges. I was assured via texts with the property manager upon my move-out that the new tenants would have their utilities transferred their first day of move-in, and that I was not allowed to turn them off. I personally contacted the utility companies (thank you, City of Norfolk, for being helpful and providing info with the water bill). It ended up being 6 days before all the utilities were transferred and *I* had to pay for them. It was in my lease that utilities had to stay on for 10 days after move-out, which is acceptable for things like cleaning/showing the unit, etc. The new tenants moved in the DAY after my lease was up. I was argued with, disrespected, and lectured whenever I confronted the property manager on the fact that he assured me this wouldn't happen.
At an earlier time in my lease, I also had to go almost 4 days without plumbing due to this management company not wanting to pay for a plumber on a weekend. The cause of the plumbing issue was roots in the clean-out system, clearly labeled as 'covered' in my lease. We were accused of manipulating the plumbing, causing the issue on purpose, breaking the drain, etc. I couldn't believe I had to listen to my roommate on the phone defending himself and explaining how he didn't cause the clean-out pipe to back up and spew sewage into the yard and tub intentionally. We were definitely like "Hey, we don't have anything to do this weekend! Lets break our plumbing system and then have to go through the ordeal of getting it fixed and not being able to flush our bowel movements while also not showering for 4 days!". Doesn't everyone do that?

Our home was also at least 60+ years old. It had not been renovated. We didn't move in because it was 'nice', we moved in because it was cozy. It was creaky, dated, lived-in, and full of character from the last half century and I STILL had to stand there and be accused of every chip, crack, rust, and door creak upon move-out.

Other not-so-personal reasons include: inconvenience of having to drive to the office to drop off rent (it was an hour round trip), incredibly meticulous lease terms compared to other places I've rented from, the informality of using texting as the means of communication, and confusion between the office itself and individual brokers.

If you choose to rent with this company, be prepared to not get back your security deposit and make sure you document/photograph EVERYTHING. I'm talking get a 32g memory card and fill it up with every single nook, cranny, floorboard, ceiling, closet, shingle, blade of grass, and bathroom tile in your rental both inside AND out. Either set aside plenty of time, energy, and money to fix the issues they're going to find with your rental, or just let your deposit go and don't worry about it. Also be prepared to receive text messages relating to your lease on Christmas night (yes, this happened, I couldn't believe it - text messages on CHRISTMAS from our property manager about renewing our lease). Prepare to always be in the wrong. Prepare to debate with a brick wall. Prepare to be belittled, argued with, overcharged, and ignored.
