Waited 2 and a half hours for the only staff member to return from lunch so we could get our security deposit back after our application was first accepted then denied when we reached out to solve a rooming issue. We received conflicting information about fees from agents and staff.

My son was relocating from Minnesota to Norfolk Virginia for his first job as an airline pilot. As a mother not knowing the area I was anxious to figure out how I could help him find an apartment to rent that was in a nice safe area and would fit his limited budget. I was put in touch with Lori Miller at Wainwright Real Estate in Virginia Beach (also a mother with adult children) and even though there was nothing in it for her, (she isn't a rental agent) she went out of her way to help me scout out some apartments in various areas of Virginia Beach going so far as to drive by them and check them out. If Lori went to this much trouble just to be nice to someone she may never even meet, I can only imagine the customer service she provides for her clients. What a nice lady!

Don't care about any of their tenants. Stopped renuing a lease for no reason & uprooted a family from their home after years just to rerent it too a new family. No reason why just you have two months too get out & that's that. Always paid rent on time full amount lived here for years & then out of nowhere they stop renuing their lease. I've known this family my whole life. Quiet, clean, keep too themselves & have built a life inside a house that's being ripped away from them. Beyond disgusted with this company. Completely unempathetic & will uproot your life for no reason with absolutely no closure. You should be ashamed of the way you run your business.

We were renters from Wainwright for about 4 years now and they've always been prompt and courteous with their service and responses to us. They've known our names and which house we were living in so they make it a point to know their renters and I appreciate that.
