Called Allignment for a client of mine. She is 85 years young and was being threatened by an urgent care for a past due bill of 22.00 . We were fortunate to get Daniel on the phone . He not only assured her the bill was illegal as well as unethical , he called her back the next day to check on her . He found several other clinics around her that take both of her insurances. He is the best !!! A great asset to alignment!!! Thank you alignment and Daniel!!!!

I am facing an upcoming open heart surgery. I met with the local network surgeon and wasn't comfortable with him from the start and not about to have him do such a major surgery. I was allowed to go to UCSF for a second opinion, I loved the doctor there and was scheduled for the surgery, Alignment denied coverage for the surgery there because it was "out of network". Why allow me to go to UCSF for a second opinion to begin with if Alignment is going to deny the procedure there?

Very happy with Alignment Health Plan I do not have any regrets coming into this plan, working directly with supervisor Alejandra and her manager is great very caring people. I had issues with Papa and pals was assisted wonderfully this plan is not greedy they will take care of your needs and will make sure you are in great living conditions their services are tremendous this plan takes care of their members to a great extent. i look forward to many years more with this plan including with my husband and disabled son thank you Alignment

Just became a member on January 1 2020, I went to Dr's visit as usual and while there presented my Cards and after filling out paperwork, Dr ordered all prescriptions to be transferred to new mail order pharmacy. three days later I received one of the six I waited three days and nothing more showed up when I called customer service I was told nothing was on order, when I explained that it was impossible cuzz I received one of six ordered the same time, then I was told Dr ordered them to wrong dept,
I went to Dr and she reordered and this time to correct dept, three days later two of the six showed up, I called customer service again and was told this time that they needed approval from insurance and Dr's office before they could be filled. Now I am waiting and I am out.

their agents need to be re trained and they need to get their facts together,
I have been taking the same prescriptions for 20 years and always had them mailed to me, this is the first time I've ever had to go through this just for a refill. Alliance sucks, If they don't get their S together soon I will report them to the State Consumer affairs and chance health plans

Very friendly and extremely helpful staff, especially, the Rep I spoke with, Krista, she was very knowledgeable and super friendly and went out if her way to solve my problem, she didn't make me feel like I was being rushed and or like I was burden. If you ever have to call alignment healthcare. Ask for Krista, and not that the rest of the staff is bad or not friendly

This was the worst experience of my life. I went to the Alignment office in the Diagnostic Clinic in Largo , Fl. I had pain in my calf that I was sure was a muscle pull. But, I've had a blood clot in that leg before and wanted to get it checked out. I was seen and ordered a STAT Ultrasound of the leg which took almost 5 hours to get done because the staff sent me to a radiology dept. that didn't have a technician in. The hospital directly across the street would have done it , but they could find no record of the overseeing Doctor on the script. After much frustration and several phone calls to the Operational manager, I found out I could have had the test done in the SAME building as their office. I was told I would get a return call with results. That never came. I finally called the office the next day, 18 hours after the STAT test and was told they didn't have results yet. I went in to the office to get the results and was told they didn't get them yet. Being a nurse for 45 years, I knew the system. I know it doesn't take 18 hours for results for STAT tests!!! I went down to the Ultrasound department, asked for the report. They gave it to me and I walked it back up to the office. No one at the desk. I left the report with a note that the Ultrasound tech faxed them the records. THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO FOLLOW UP ON THEIR PART. POOREST PATIENT CARE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. !!!!!

Have had to see many specialists for 3 years to nail down a diagnosis for a rare disease. They have always been helpful and allowed me to see out of network doctors for treatment. They fought for me when I needed assistance. Provided special nurse assistance to navigate asthma. Don't want to ever change!

This is the worst health plan ever. My mom was in the ED with referral from cardiologist for unstable angina on 2/26 Alignment denied her inpatient service and said she could appeal it. She got the notice in april and she appealed it via letter a week later. Alignment sent her a letter saying her appeal was denied since the my mom emergency incident occured before the appeal. This makes no sense to us. Alignment was no help and put my mom under a lot of unneccessary stress . if there is a zero star option I will choose it. We will change her plan to original medicare

Great place to work at. I can attest this company gets healthcare. Through innovative preventive measures, professionalism and compassion, Alignment is taking care of its members. Hence the plan was awarded 4.5 Stars! Congrats!

My experience at this office was very discriminato...

My experience at this office was very discriminatory against me today . The receptionist/Nurse called in a patient that came in later than I did. Even though I had been there !/2 hours before the other person arrived.
I am very much offended by the treatment I received from this individual. I would like to large a formal complaint

Thank you so much DANIEL for your amazing customer service and amazing positive attitude. Your positive energy just makes everything feel better. It s hard to get someone like Daniel that cares for its members. Daniel has gone above and beyond with his amazing customer service. He was great with getting in contact with my grandfathers new doctor. He actually following up with my grandfather and I usually that never happens with insurances. I have never experienced anyone like Daniel that cares and genuinely helps out. It s is hard to come across anyone like him. Thank you for helping my grandfather and I in making the change to his new doctor.

By far the worst customer service experience I ve ...

By far the worst customer service experience I ve had in a long time .
I elected to withdraw my application to change from original Medicare into their network when I found that none of my local doctors were in their network. I made the phone call to withdraw my application in mid December. I was told by the alignment health representative that I needed to do nothing more that no changes we would be made to my insurance. On January 1 I found that I had been transferred into alignment health and I had surgery scheduled for January 9th that they wouldn t cover. I ve had to postpone much needed surgery cancel all my doctors appointments and wait an entire month for the switch back to original Medicare which I had to make myself through Medicare. Alignment health had no problem leaving me stranded medically they basically told me to go screw myself. I m filing a complaint with Medicare against them

I would like to say that a Customer Service Rep. did reach out to me after I wrote this review. She said she was terribly sorry for the error that was made by her company and for the huge crisis it had caused in my life.
She offered to ask Medicare to expedite the correction to my coverage so I mIght not have to wait until Feb1st. to receive the medical attention I so desperately need. It is today Jan 21st and I am still waiting.
The only legitimate response would have been to cover me for all out of network costs until Feb 1st. but that would have cost money and really that s what it all about right?
So I would like to edit my negative review by saying once again and even louder by far the worst customer experience I have had ever and I would not recommend them to a friend.
Still waiting.....

As a provider, I have left multiple messages with the Corporate Office , Provider Relations voicemail about several thousand dollars in unpaid claims and have not received any return calls about this matter doesn't seem that provider retention is very high on the list for this Medicare replacement plan. My next step is to file a complaint with Insurance Commissioner and with CMS.

Received a call from Bella Hernandez at Alignment Healthcare , she was able to identify this issue, get in touch with the appropriate company , and to date all of the claims have been paid with no outstanding balance. Thank you Bella for all your help, my small agency could not have done it without you. You are amazing at what you do, and an asset to your company.

3 different unethical things happen to my girlfriend Lori

1. No Alignment benefits quote NO COST X RAY yet I (she)was charged for the x ray

2. BUENA VISTA EYE CLINIC gave me wrong prescription and they refused to correct it, and wanted me to pay it!! And Alignment Grievance was in their favor!!

3. Alignment rep LIES to me and said I could keep all my doctors ANOTHER UNETHICAL LIE!!!

The ONLY person I give 5 stars to is Gabriel. He is an angel. He TRULY CARES ABOUT THE PATIENTS. He is extremely professional and this company needs to put him IN CHARGE. Of the whole company, not just a department. I am a stickler about having professional services. It is how I was raised and have lived my life. I do NOT indorse the company, but I do this young man. They have no idea how lucky they are to have him. But I do. God bless you Gabriel.****NEWLY EDITED...spoke too soon. His "help" seemed to be a one time deal. When ever you have an issue with your insurance, you should be able to speak with admin to have them rectify the issue. But then, when that person from admin won't even have the common courtesy to answer or return your calls..you know they have no desire to help. What a shame...
