It's more than just a theater, it's a signature feature of the Manasquan/Jersey Shore community.

I purchased 8 tickets for Brian Kirk Springsteen birthday concert for March. The show was postponed due to Covid19. They won t return my money because they say it s just postponed and not cancelled (a loophole). It s July and still no refund or new performance date. At least refund my money and I ll buy tickets again if they come up with a new date.

Attended the Gala tonight and was reminded what a spectacular arts venue the Algonquin Arts Theatre is. This small town theatre routinely puts on Broadway-caliber shows in no small part due to a remarkably talented staff and dedicated local volunteers. This theatre is much-loved by residents and local businesses because it truly enriches Manasquan and its neighboring towns. Be sure to catch a show there if you haven't been before. A wonderful place to be entertained! Incidentally, the seats in this theatre were replaced after the Algonquin ran an inspired adopt-a-seat funding campaign a few years ago. They are very comfortable.

Went for local theater. The performers were decent but the show was terrible.

First time I've been at the theater. I found our lecture very well done and very entertaining. The fact that coffee was offered before the lecture was a nice touch.
