Tulips and more tulips... Wish I lived amidst them forever
Every year there's a new theme in this extraordinary flower garden where they make art out of flowers and exhibitions in the garden. One year I went they had N.Y which was really fascinating. When tulips are blooming it's also possible to see beautiful flower fields for free by cycling a couple of hours. But this place is something special.
Beautiful, colorful, peaceful. Everything you need after romping around Europe. Not on most tours so be independent and get off the tour group to go. Take lunch with you to enjoy like a native!
Incredible. More tulips than you can imagine, more colours and more shapes than I knew existed
Very good garden, various types of Tulips colourful flowers can be seen here
Absolutely stunning flower garden. A vivid treat to eyes with beautiful flowers in every possible spectrum of color. Loved everything except there is no big open Tulip field inside the park but you can see that the garden surrounded by many tulip farms.
Beautiful place for people who is loves flowers & beauty of nature
Theres definitely nothing like this, so it's a once in a lifetime thing. Beautiful for a one time watch however it can be overwhelmingly crowded on some days. Getting food too can be a challenge. Our first experience was great, but the 2nd time not so much. It felt like you had to be on a photo taking mission - if you just would like to stand and admire the flowers, this place isn't for you. I prefer being around the park (outside the park) to have an enjoyable day.
This is a must-do when visiting the Netherlands, even for Dutch people.
The parking place was big enough and parking an EV is great. You park and charge in front of the entrance with 22kW (type 2).
The park is nicely organized and the free maps are very handy to find your way.
The different themes throughout the park are very interesting. Only a lot of times the flower identifications are missing.
The expositions are interesting and I was amazed about how well the halls were air conditioned.
Food is almost on every corner and is from OK to good. The choice is also good.
The staff and the service is good and friendly and the pricing is OK.
The toilets were in every building and cleaned well.
If you want to get quick view about the Netherlands and enjoy the best flower show, here you've got all at once!
And.... it will make your wife or girlfriend very happy.
A must visit if you are in The Netherlands in spring. The best time to visit is the third or fourth week of April when the tulips are full bloom. Keep aside 1 full day for this garden. I am not much of a flower person but this place had me astounded. The rich colours and the neatness of the flowers is a class apart. Dont miss to pick up a map at the entrance and be sure to check out the entire garden. The indoor spacious pavilions have some amazing flower setups of their own. There is a windmill you can climb up to get a bird's eye view of the park & the neighbouring tulip fields. There is a boat trip available as well. You can pick up tulip bulbs at some of the shops in the garden. There are food carts everywhere. There is a petting zoo with some huge rabbits. At the end of your visit I am sure you would b humming "when its spring again, i'll bring again, Tulips from Amsterdam!"
i thought i would bored but three hours there was not enough to see all the great flowers on display well worth a trip
Wonderful place! This park is really amazing and so colorful! Two minors issues however: the park is litterally overcrowded and you'll need one hour just to get to the parking by car (the traffic is painfully slow).
Tulips plants are blessing of the Nature !
The Management is great !
You can keep your luggage in luggage rooms. (5 Euros Approx)
The Entrance Fees is around 35 Euros (when I visited)
The Lake inside in Keukenhof is another attraction.
The Farmland of Tulips and its showcase tents are great !
You will be able to see Windmill as well.
I used all possible time to observe the nature and take lots of pictures :)
So get ready with Camera, charge it completed, have good enough space on storage cards!
Just marvelous as always... Must visit again and again to feel the spirit and beauty of Netherlands...
Very Large park, and Not so Busy either but there is plenty places to sit, eat, grab an ice cream , mini golf ect! Very clean too.
Lovely tulip park, perfect for a romantic escape away from Amsterdam
So many beautiful flowers! The transportation to Keukenhof is also easy and run frequently from Schiphol Airport.
BEAUTIFUL park, with nice weather is a place to stay the whole day. A photography paradise, if it wasn't that packed. Check the busy hours before going or you will leave with mixed feelings. Worth a second visit, hopefully with less people...
This is one of those places where no review can do it justice. You absolutely must come and see it for yourself.
The amount of colors and smells you're bombarded with, as soon as you enter, is unreal. I'm not a flower guy and I'm quite sure I can't tell apart more than 10-15 different flowers - but I was stunned. Such a beautiful, quiet and relaxing place.
Bring the blanket as you'll surely enjoy the picnic-like feeling. Bring snacks, too, for they are outrageously expensive on site!
You can spend a day in here, or two-three hours if you rush. One hour is not enough.
There are enough things to keep the young ones entertained as well - playground, maze, lake.. so it can be a perfect family day. Do not forget the blanket! :-)
Simply mind blowing... One should plan to get there early to avoid any parking hassle during weekends.. Whole day can be spent here... Wouldn't recommend purchasing any stuff as it's unnecessarily expensive even for a cup of tea/coffee but at the same time, no choice... Very well maintained... Worth visit... Boat ride is alright but one has the time and energy, then once the vehicle is parked, take a cycle for rent and get into the fields directly or walk down fully.... Overall it's good
Try to go in the begining of the season. Not the end. More than 50% dead flowers
So many people, our coach driver said there were 300 coaches today let alone cars.
It's not just tulips there's just as many daffodils & hyacinths full of colours. I think the tulips are a bit behind in 2018 because of the weather. You'll also see a few indoor displays even one with roses.
Plenty of benches, perhaps not enough coffee places at 11am people are not waiting for lunches everyone wanted coffee & cake & we didn't find it expensive.
Lots of walking on paved paths make sure you wear comfortable shoes this covers a vast area. The park is kept extremely clean & well maintained.
Facinating place with amazing gardens.
It is good in april and booking was easy.
Lots of fun with nice staff.
Food was also good.
We visited the Keukenhof during an AMA Waterways River Cruise tour and it was absolutely amazing. This is the pretties place I've seen in all my travels (but I love flowers). I highly recommend going here but know that it is only open a few months a year. We spent most of the day here and the time flew by. There are so many flowers to see and places to eat and things to do. It really is one of the most amazing places I've ever seen.

Beautiful place. Fell in love with it. Could only spend two hours there a d it was not enough. Definitely a must see!
A little over when we arrived but still good. Suggest early to avoid crowds
Great place to visit during Tulip Season. One would easily spend half a day in this beautiful place taking pictures or simply enjoying the flowers.
Simply the paradise of tulips, hyacinth and narcis flowers. You truly relax in this mesmerizing location close to the Amsterdam airport.
The gardens are awesome but do wall for around 500m to see the real fields... That's a sight... You can't get into the fields which is ok... But surely walk to see the fields from the road... Ask for directions at the info...
Keukenhof also known as the Garden of Europe, is one of the world's largest flower gardens. Keukenhof is open annually from mid-March to mid-May. The best time to view the tulips is around mid-April, depending on the weather. Visited during the month of April 18. We visited on a weekend and on the same day they had a flower parade also, so its was super crowded. We saw more people than flowers :)
But still it was super exciting will all those immense number of flowers, colors, different shapes and awesome beauty all around! Do take the boat ride through the tulip fields! It's worth. Also don't forget to take your power banks /extra battery to juice your phone/camera because your phone/camera will be dead within an hour :)
I would say, its better to visit the park during weekdays (hope the crowd will be less during that time).
A must vist in Amsterdam from March 23rd to May 13th!
Plenty of Tulip flowers at one place, nicely managed garden, great ambience
If you have the chance, you must see it. It is an incredible place.
But they seem to be drowning a bit in their own success. The amount of people is crazy, and often you are more concentrated on not hitting anyone when walking around, than seeing the flowers (!).
Fantastic place, totally blown away by all its beauty !
Very worthwhile. Gorgeous flowers. Wonderful arrangements. Got there by train and bus from Amsterdam Central. Be prepared for taking a lot of photos.
Top #3 experience in the Netherlands. Highly recommended (best season: end of April)
Definitely, a obrigatory place for those who love nature and flowers! Perfect! Magical!
it is really awesome experiance you must visit this place. i visited on 24th April but we could not find bulbs in fields ride better to go last week of march to visit bulbs properly.
This place is like Heaven on Earth!!! Beautiful is not a sufficient word for this gorgeous paradise!!!
This tulip garden is heaven for plant lovers like me.
Gets crowded if you get late so hurry up and be the first one to get in.
Absolute must visit whem in Holland in the spring. Visit took place on opening day so many outdoor displays had yet to bloom however there was still much to see, it was beautiful and the greenhouse displays were in full bloom. Working windmill with beautiful views of tulip growers and the park itself. Warm and fresh stroopwaffles!!!!! Unique souvenirs here as well.
Beautiful. More than expected. Lot of tulips to see. Windmill and decorations are too beautiful to explain in words. Loved it
Beautiful garden with tulips and other assorted flowers. A must go destination during spring
Was nice to see once. It's a shame this is all about selfies for visitors and you can see the destruction.
A place to be remembered for lifetime....while in Amsterdam if u dont visit Kukenof then its a biggest mistake you r doing.
Was amazing to see all different kind of tulips and flowers with the history, weather was chilly but still good to enjoy. Very touristic of course because it is in a limited time so we enjoyed very much!
We came all the way there to find out a closed road to Keukenhof because it was closed on Saturday, April 13. Not a single mentioning about it on their website or google maps. I wish I could put -1 star for 2 hours of my wasted time.
It is very beautiful! No word can describe how lovely the place is.
If love flowers and want to see 7mln of them in one spot - that's THE place! Amazing atmosphere all over the garden, where you can spend the whole day. There are few cafes to grab lunch or a drink and soooo many sights to admire! Keep in mind it's only open for a couple of weeks every year so check in advance. In 2018 opening days will be 22nd March - 13th May. :)
Incredible. Definitely a must see if visiting the Netherlands in the Spring. Book a bus ticket from one of the smaller towns (ex- Leiden), come early (the park opens at 8am), and be ready so spend hours here. The park is massive, so plan your day accordingly. The cafe is reasonably priced for coffee and pastries, but bring your own lunch as the cafeterias are always full and will cost you. The tulips are absolutely gorgeous and awesome and you can tell a lot of hard work has gone into putting all the arrangements together. But after a few hours, be prepared to develope 'tulip fatigue'. It's overwhelming!
Very huge garden and lots of tulips (and other flowers of course )
It is very lovely place to visit with family.
Surreal experience, must visit if you enjoy manicured gardens. Incredibly crowded however and some of the indoor installations are underwhelming and can be skipped for more time outdoors
Wonderful place! I recommend going there with the bike from the Hague or from Amsterdam. Is only a 30km ride, and completely flat. The entrance is 18 but I think it does worth it. Keep in mind that is open like only for three months or so every year
Very beautiful but perhaps they could improve the lake.
KEUKENHOF has the WOW factor, when you are there you are in TULIP HEAVEN.
quite popular place since it is the largest flower garden in Europe. quite crowded especially in the weekend. Don't come after mid-April or you will miss gorgeous tulips field around the garden.
Great place to visit in spring! For all flowers and nature lovers - you will definitely enjoy staying here. We only spent there half day and couldn't see everything. We were literally running around trying to make as many pics as possible. If you plan whole day visit you will get a chance to try boat trip, enjoy eating in the company of tulips and other habitants of Keukenhof.
Garden was good...but too many tourists...may be more than tulips in keukenhof garden :(.....we reached there around 12.30 and it was over crowded. After 4.30 there were less crowd and we could actually see the beautiful tulips...if you can reach there when garden opens or at evening times, you can feel the beauty of flowers...
If you like hell lot of tulips you will definitely love this place. They are everywhere in every color and form you can imagine. After couple of hours I desperately needed a drink and guess what, the staff know that this moment will come and they are 100% ready for it.
Simply beautiful. Doubly so on a nice sunny day. Awesome variety of flowers. Recommend! If you can spare some time out of Amsterdam city area
A nice place to visit, if you don't like crowds don't visit on Easter holidays
Absolutely gorgeous flower park. The walks are full of colors and patterns that wow the eye. And so. Many. Tulips! With such stunning colors too... Some of the flowers were so rich and bright my phone refused to focus properly in the midday light... The sheer number of varieties was staggering. There is even a hothouse for those more delicate flowers and plants that dislike the cold.
It is both child and dog friendly. It was a little chilly, especially with the spring wind so I would recommend at the very least a jacket if not a coat. All paths are wheelchair accessible and there are multiple cafes scattered through the park in case you'd like a hot coffee or chocolate as you walk.
This is the third time I've gone, and I would gladly go again. It is a lovely attraction for tourists and Dutch people both.
Beautiful. Public transport could have been better organized
All facilities well organized -plenty of eating places and an amazing displays of tulips
An overdose of beautiful flowers, arranged with good taste and flair! What a lovely experience. Would recommend it any time!!!!
That's a great garden.. But.. Most part of the tulips are inside in blocks 1m x 1m one close to another. Everything is aimed to sell souvenirs
