Park and flower arrangements are amazing. The food options were also better than expected with food trucks providing some variety. I would like to give five stars on this bases but there were simply too many people on the day we were there (Labour day). Maybe during the week there would be fewer people and the overall experience would benefit from that.

Only the best garden I have seen! Definitely want to come back. FYI, it is only open for 3 months in a year, only in Spring season. Good to visit for the whole day even, they have food plazas, shops and restrooms. Usually a crowded place, tourists from all over the world can be seen here. Maybe visiting at earlier times would have less people.
A lot of flowers. Parc of flowers of all colors. Nice but i would not go there again. Food is basic and expensive better take a sandwich from home. Why charge 2 euros for a bottle of water?? Imo water should be free. Lots of turists..
Gorgeous. Honestly the prettiest sights you will ever see. We went in April and saw millions and millions of beautiful flowers. Once in a lifetime experience for me!
If you don t like Netherlands, then this place will change your mind about that country. It is so beautiful, you will see different colors of flowers that you never saw. The best place to be close to nature.
This place was fantastic. It was quiet after a rainy storm. For plenty of pictures with only a few hours left when we arrived. Recommend going if you have the chance.
omg this place is seriously for nature lovers and flower lovers, wherever u see, u see tulips, Darwin Hybrid,Triumph,Double,Fosteriana,Lily-Flowered and more, this is heaven for nature lovers, must visit xoxo
Fantastic display of bulb based flowers. Five hours wasn't enough to see it all, although it would probably look different every week. Not a cheap day out at around 18 each plus parking, guide, food etc, but a great day out nonetheless.
So beautiful! This is the largest beautifully flower garden I ever saw. Recommended place for you who want to visit The Netherlands. You can see hundreds varieties of the flowers, especially for the Tulips. Just Keukenhof Express Bus (from Schiphol, Leiden and Haarlem) and your own transportation can go there.
overrated, except for the pavilions, the blooms outside were not majestic as the same level in other flower gardens in the world. The tulip fields were also empty with just red colored flaming tulips in one corner. There should be more information put on website regarding the tulip fields. Little disappointed may be because of hype created by my European friends. :-)
So nice to walk through all of these beautiful flowers Also available for wheelchairs, you can bring your dog and there are plenty of things to do for children as well worth visiting!!!
I recommend to visit this park everyone who is going to Netherlands during this period. It's like a symbol of Netherlands, with many flowers, windmill and klompen(traditional Dutch wooden shoes) you may take a picture in Park is open just few weeks a year and it worth it to see!
Absolutely stunning display of tulips. Make sure you budget several hours to explore the entire area. There was plenty of things to keep our two young kids entertained as well.
Great place to spend the day during the months of April and May. It might get a little crowded if the day is sunny, but still you can enjoy yourself with nature.
went there were relatively fewer tourists (thousands instead of tens of thousands). the queues were shorter than what we anticipated. "touristy" but this was expected. the displays and the fields were awesome. my mom would have loved it here.
-great park -lots of flowers -animals (rabbits, goats, chickens) -activities for children -good chocolate -large variety of souvenirs -great places for pictures -boat trip -places where you can chat with friends
Beautiful place, perfect for a relaxing afternoon walking amongst beautiful flowers . Many places to eat and grab a bite inside. Even though it was crowded, I was able to enjoy it. Recommended!
Wonderful flower gardens open between March and May. Sure to shot lots of photos. You can take a boat tour among the gardens for 8 euros. Adult tickets are 17 euros alone, or 25 euros with return trip bus. There are restaurants and cafes inside. It is said that weekends are very crowded.
Lovely garden. Try to go workays, because weekends are very very crowded. The place is well prepared for a lot of people though (lots of toilets, places to eat, etc). Entrance is expensive.l The surroundings of the park are very beautiful too (huge colorful tulip fields), so a good idea is to drive there and stop on the side of the roads to take pictures and enjoy the sights for free. The area covering Lisse, Nordwijk, Sassenheim, Katwijk, Leiden and Harlem has many tulip fields visible from the highways.
A magnificent place. If you have a choice you better visit the park on a sunny day to enjoy the tulips open to the sun. And don't hesitate to arrive at 8.00 in the morning, you'll have the park for your own, because at 10.00 buses bring groups from everywhere.
A very nice and relaxing park to visit. Not the usual tulip farms that you see online where people are surrounded with hell lotsa flowers.
Anyway, I totally love the idea that they have some animals (goats, sheep, ducks, rabbits, pigs, etc.) which we can see and even have close interactions with (not all of them, though)!
I'd recommend people visiting the place during mid-season as I visited on 11 May 2018 (few days before Keukenhof closes for the year), and many parts of the flowers had been harvested (so it wasn't as luxuriant as expected), and I think some flowers/landscapes had passed their best state for display (not as neat).
Also, another advise for future visitors is to choose a sunny day to visit the place so it's more comfortable to walk around in such a big park like this; and most importantly, most of your pictures look nicer with natural sunlight!
This place is AMAZING!!!! I don t care what your tourist books are saying about this place being overrated. This IS the place for tulips if you re here for the tulips. It was worth every penny of admission fee. Great tip: bring your own water, water goes for 5 for a small bottle in the garden. Bring your own food too if you don t want to be paying tourist prices when you re hungry.
The history of Keukenhof dates back to the 15th century. Countess Jacoba van Beieren [Jacqueline of Bavaria] (1401-1436) gathered fruit and vegetables from the Keukenduin [kitchen dunes] for the kitchen of Teylingen Castle. Keukenhof Castle was built in 1641 and the estate grew to encompass an area of over 200 hectares. Landscape architects Jan David Zocher and his son Louis Paul Zocher, who also designed Amsterdam's Vondelpark, redesigned the castle gardens in 1857. That park, in the English landscape style, still constitutes the basis of Keukenhof. In 1949 a group of 20 leading flower bulb growers and exporters came up with the plan to use the estate to exhibit spring-flowering bulbs, signalling the birth of Keukenhof as a spring park. The park opened its gates to the public in 1950 and was an instant success, with 236,000 visitors in the first year alone. 2018 will be the 69th edition of Keukenhof, with Romance in Flowers as its theme. During the past 67 years Keukenhof has developed into a world-famous attraction.
one of my bucket list, and off course the best experience i've ever had. I went to Keukenhof, five years ago, and its still remind me to a garden with full of a lot of tulips in many color, its like in fantasy land with thousands flower
