Fantastic garden but parking organization is terrible! In busy days they let much more visitors then they can handle! We were waiting 2,5 hours to exit the parking! Completely ruined our experience!
Looks fantastic, lots of fun for both children and adults. Just go early, or avoid the most crowded dates, or you might wait hours in the car just to get in.
I have traveled to so many beautiful places to praise the beauty of Nature, But natural beauty of Keukenhof is beyond words. One must avail chance to come and see by themselves. Dutch really kept this beautiful.
This is a gorgeous breathtaking flower park. It's definitely a place to visit if you're in Holland. I couldn't get enough pictures of the flowers and plants. It was very therapeutic to just walk around and admire the beautiful fields of flowers and the numerous flower exhibits.
Great place to see an abundance of flowers of all kinds but mainly flowers... There a couple of coffee shops, restaurants and ice cream trucks all around too. However, if you're expecting this place to have tulip fields that you can walk through then that is not the case. You can see them from several view points but not access them (which my friends expected and were disappointed when they found out they couldn't)
It was the highlight of our Netherlands trip. Worth flying across the ocean to see it. It opens only two months in a year, during the tulip bloom season. We bought our tickets online including the parking one. The color was so gorgeous. I found the garden was more enjoyable than the indoor displays. Very crowed but still able to find some relatively quiet area. The traffic was super congested. We drove which allowed us the freedom to see some of the tulip fields surrounding the park. It was absolutely beautifully.
OMG ... colors are almost too much... not really. They certainly have everything trimmed to perfection. Could have spent more time there if my legs weren't giving up. Lunch was also perfect. A great selection at a reasonable price. The whole experience was great
Love love love. This garden is amazing. Only open a few weeks a year if you want to see the tulips. Lots of people even during the last week. So many varieties of flowers, hedge maze, and boat tours. A must see!
Very touristic. Apart from that it's nice to see once. If you have the possibility, go in a weekday/working day. Renting a bike is also a good idea. It takes you around the Keukenhof and into the flower fields around it.
It s beautiful like heaven .. you will see more than 500 types of flowers in this garden ... lakes .. statues etc ... you can even buy seeds of flowers ...
Amazing display of tulips in the home of tulips. This place gets seriously busy and the sheer number of people taking selfies does interfere with your enjoyment of the whole tulip experience.
3 stars is the average score between the 5 stars for the park and its beauty, and the 1 star for the terrible, terrible organization regarding parking and access. One of the parkings was closed right a few cars ahead of us while we were waiting. The personnel simply walked away from the place and we had to stop one of them as he was walking to obtain information about the "other" parking area (which meant going all around the park, avoiding bycicles, pedestrians, abandoned cars and whatnot at an average 15 km/h speed). Very unpleasant behavior.
So many people... Just a complete mass of tourists doing their thing. The garden is pretty, sure, but when you are basically shuffling through it shoulder to shoulder it loses a lot of it's charm.
A reason to visit the Netherlands. 32 hectares (80 acres) of flowers, pavilions and well maintained gardens: tulips, daffodils, crocuses, orchids, you name it and it blooms in the Keukenhof Flower Garden. For many guests an unforgettable experience. About 7 millions have been planted and every year it looks very different. Highly recommendable!
A spectacular place to watch the Tulips grow in large scale. Huge hectares of tulip fields is a definitely a visual treat. A must visit place if the timing is properly planned.
Amazing, beautiful, awesome, unbelievable, it is really hard to express all the positive feelings about this place. Take care that you arrive in the opening time and enjoy yourself. There is organised ride from Amsterdam directly to Keukenhof buses going every 8 minutes.
Very nice day trip location. Spring was the best time to visit. You can have a relaxing day full of flowers ans nature. There is also a cafe inside there where you can drink or have lunch.
Amazing display of flowers & colours , including an indoor display of roses , very busy but the gardens are well maintained and litter free . Food can be purchased from the pavilions including sandwiches & salads . Well worth a visit but I think perhaps in future years more could be done to display say countries flags using the flowers or other themes ?
Part of a mystery cruise and excursion wife's dream come true. Wonderful flowers perfectly laid out beds exhibition halls beautiful wonderful day out but only open 8 weeks per year
You can easily spend a day here looking at fabulous and colorful tulips. Too crowded during tulip season. Charges are bit high and food is really overpriced but the best place if you like flowers and beautiful colors!
Absolutely amazing! I would highly recommend visiting this park. It can get quite crowded so it s a good idea to come early or otherwise stay a bit late (after 4pm) to enjoy the park during the quieter hours. The boat ride seemed short but was very enjoyable and worth the extra ticket. There are plenty of places to eat and drink, good facilities and souvenir shops. We bought our tickets online, which you can then send to your iPhone s wallet and use anytime during the season. That s handy if you re staying several days because you can then check the weather and use your ticket when the weather is best. Sunshine makes for gorgeous photos!
Amazing place with millions of tulips and other flowers. Huge territory filled with different islands, bridges, sculptures. I also loved the labyrinth of bushes. The park is crowded but still it's possible to enjoy its beauty despite that. Also buses which go back to Amsterdam have huge lines, so be ready not just wait half an hour in the queue, but also to stand all the way back. Still such ending doesn't spoil the great impression from the park.
Very nice place. A lot of different flowers in different colors. Always some new arrangement making it all interesting. It did not smell to much flower. And also the food place did not feel dirty. We did find a seat, and had a good meal here. Seemed nice and clean the whole place.
Absolutely stunning! I went on May 11 and the flowers were starting to die. So I would recommend going in April for the best flowers. They also have a small petting zoo with pigs, ducks, rabbits and goats. And within the garden they have small food/snack stands.
The Keukenhof is the largest tulip garden in the world with more than seven million flower bulbs. It attracts thousands of foreign visitors every year. The garden is only opened around 8 weeks a year, so the best time to visit Keukenhof is from middle-April to early May.
Keukenhof, the name derived from an old term 'kitchen garden' is one of famous garden of entire Europe. It remains open for around 8 weeks during late March to 3rd week of May. It has been one of the most spectacular garden which even can manage large number of spectators each year. You can find lots of different varieties Tulips, Lilies and other kind of flowers. Also at different places you can find different flower shows of uncommon beautiful varieties of Roses, Orchids. Lots of facilities included well maintained toilets at different places, food courts, shops etc. Different area available for children. The idea of decorating the garden with green slopes of grass, water bodies, fountains, windmill complement the garden very well. Must visit place. Facilities available such as boat ride and cycle trips through the tulip fields. Also every year it holds a beautiful flower parade in front of the garden(5minutes walk) on a special day in April.
