It was a nice experience. The ideal time to go would be in the month of April, preferred 2nd or 3rd week.

Incredibly beautiful in the late Spring. Well-maintained. Extremely busy during the tulip season, as you might expect. We went right when they opened, which worked well. Boat trip around the gardens was worth it.

this place was in my bucket list, and definitely is one of the best experiences I've ever had, the beauty of the flowers, the colors, the life will make the day go by like a blink, the memories I have from this place i keep with joy. now, this is a very popular place and one of the main tourist attractions in Holland, so it will be crowded, my recommendation is go early as possible. other advise I can give is to go between second half of April to end of May, I went early April and I still could enjoy most of the flowers but you could tell some were more ready yet.

It's a beautiful spring garden with so many different colors of tulip, but I feel like it's more of a stunning park where you can relax and enjoy your snacks or lunch with your family or partners.
Last week of April and the first week of may are the best time to visit, the weather's warmer and the flowers are in full bloom.
It was my second visit and it was even more awesome than my first visit.
Anyways have fun and enjoy if you guys are visiting.

It is a huge garden of tulips and other flowers. One can easily spend 4 to 5 hours, clicking some pictures.

Beautiful day out, but there are a lot of people. Go later in day as people leave around 6 and park closes at 7:30 so you can relax a bit more

It's a bit overrated I guess. You can enjoy a lot more in the tulip fields where you have freedom to roam around and a lot less crowd.
You would definitely enjoy couple of hours on a weekday rather than an entire day on a weekend.

Gorgeous place. Totally must visit. However try to avoid rush hours and public holidays it's crazy.

The tulips are famous for obvious reasons and we can see why in this place.
The layout of the garden however is not as good as we expected (compared to Buchart Garden for example) it has only patches of tulips unlike the farming area at all where rows and rows of flowers are there (it is available right across the parking lot on the outside of the garden actually) there biggest portion of collected tulips is right at the entrance point after the ticket control that's it, but the garden itself has its own style and easy to spend the whole day here for there are many choices of garden one can spend time in.
Food choice is a bit limited but there are small carts around the garden too selling harring, hotdog, etc.
The area behind the restorant has an indoor tulips collection and other flowers as well as some arts, don't miss that.
Parking is not free it's 6/day, come early to get close parking spot, otherwise you can try your luck around the parking lot in case someone leave early.
All in all, it's one of the must visit in the Netherlands.

Wonderful experience, it is a beautiful and very relaxing. Strolling through a garden with so many good looking, good smelling flowerbeds is awesome.
However, I went yesterday (12 May), 4 days before they close. And you can see that with the many flowers that already died, were cut off or are withering away.
So that's why one star less. They should reduce the entrance fee, or at least show somewhere that everything will be much less vibrant in May than at the beginning. Because of the huge amount of visitors, I don't think anyone will say that, though.

Despite this, definitely an awesome experience and worth going to!

Possibly overrated, or at least overpriced. This is the second time I go to the Keukenhof. Both times the first impression has been wow. Beautiful gardens with colourful flowers, mostly tulips. Flowers compositions are really amazing, you can really tell the care and the dedication that have been spent for realising those gardens. The limitation of this place is that there's basically nothing else than flowers. After 2 hours your mind is overloaded with images of flowers, and you get just tired of them. There are several places where you can rest and have a coffee but they are quite expensive, especially with respect to the pricey entrance fee.

So colorful! Flowers all around. Went there as part of Amsterdam experience. A bit late into season, fields were already harvested, but still amazing.

Great experience! Much bigger than we thought. Lots of displays to keep you busy all day. Well worth the trip.

It is a greatly designed place. I went here as a part of one day keukenhof and Zaans schans tour. If you are in Amsterdam for more than two or three days, it is suggested that you pick a day when the weather is really good. When I went, at certain parts of the day it was too chill! Don't miss the beatrix! And if possible go for the boat ride around keukenhof, which I didn't because there wasn't enough time and the weather was bad

An amazing if extremely touristy experience every visitor to the Netherlands should have at least once. Bright sunshine, the overwhelming cacophony of colourful tulips, unexpected nooks revealing surprising natural beauty, all conspire to make this an unforgettable memory.

Amazing for the flowers (6 stars) but awfully crowded, to the point of feeling claustrophobic sometimes.

I have visited this twice (once with friends and another time with family) and I was spellbound by the beauty of this place. It is pure joy in the bathing beauty of the tulips and a must visit if you ever come to Netherlands in March - May

Werry nice place well worth a 1/2 days stop. A lot of nice views, great food servings & beautiful nature.

Best time to visit is most definitely 1 month after the opening of this spring garden. Huge garden, beautifully paved pathways and a canal. The indoor halls are a real treat to the eyes.

You can see the tulips and the other flowers for a lifetime. The best flower garden I have ever visited. Amazing day!

Finest Garden in the world. Loved it and blessed to visit in my lifetime.

An absolute must for foreigners visiting in the during spring time. The displays are truly amazing.
The only downside is that this is common knowledge and the place is absolutely packed to the brim with people more concerned getting selfies with tulips than common courtesy.
Try to go on a warm rainy day.

Wonderful gardens of flowers specially tulips located at Lisse. It is opened only during Spring. Easy to access from Amsterdam. All informations you can see in website keukenhof.nl . It is not to be missed! Really worthwhile!

Keukenhof is the most beautiful spring garden in the world! More than 7 millions tulips, daffodils and hyacinths fill over 32 hectars with colour and fragrance. Keukenhof gardens should be visited once, you will not regret it! You will love it. It is an amazing place with beautiful flowers and smells around.

The most beautiful flowers natural exposition with amazing aromatherapy I have ever seen in my entire life. Visiting morning hours and weekdays recommended. Avoid especially afternoons on the weekends.

The place is very nice. They put a lot of effort in the design of the flowers and you can see that. But if you want to enjoy the place it would be better to go during the week because it s very very veeeey crowded.

This place was magical. Despite the crowds we had no trouble having a beautiful walk through the garden. Incredibly well-tended, nestled among trees grass and water, a colorful and relaxing day. The crowds for lunch were much better than I expected and the food was rather good. Nice playground for children with a small zip line!

THE place to see when visiting the Netherlands! It is just magnificent. You can easily spend 3hours there.

A very special place! I was here 3-4 times in the early 90s, and am back for a reprise. The season is limited. If you like hyacinth, come early. Today, the tulips are at their peak, but the hyacinths are fading. But there is no other place like it! A must for every flower lover's bucket list!

Beautifully designed gardens throughout the entire grounds. It's a wonderful place to spend a nice afternoon with your family and loved ones! The blooms of flowersand especially of the tulips are fascinating. I highly recommend and encourage everybody visiting or living in Holland to visit Keukenhof!

Fantastic private collection. We went in March and many of the collections were already fallen. Still enjoyed the orchids. This was the second time I had visited and both time the indoor collection has been fantastic. I really liked the way they merged colorful paintings and items to match the orchids and chrysanthemums. This gave a fanatics artistic appearance to the place. This is a place everyone should atleast visit once if they are in the neighborhood.
