Absolutely amazing, you MUST arrive when it opens as it is miserable when it gets crowded. I was there on a slow day (20k), busy days are 3x as busy. There is food and drink options but the food is not that good (I had Curry wurst). Also I opted to pay a little more to buy the ticket and transportation from Schipol which was a nice convince but was about 5 euro more. When I arrived there was no line to buy a ticket so it might be worth the risk to just buy there or.online to save money

This place is coined as the Garden of Europe and wow it hella is... the day I went to visit was foggy which added to the appeal of such a vibrant colors ejected by the tulips.

The best way to enjoy this spot is to go to their bike rental hut for a long bike ride in the morning (they have marked routes that are great for seeing fields of tulips and even the beach). Return after 4pm and then enter the park after the masses have left. You'll have until around 7/7:30 to enjoy. It was lovely.

The place is wonderful but I cannot give 5 stars because I went at the end of the season (the 20th of May) and many gardens were ruined (no tulips anymore). It was still worth to go but I think that paying the full price ticket was not fair. And I assume the situation was already like I found it few weeks before. In my opinion they should have written somewhere about this...

Famous park with flowerbulbs. Only open during spring in the Netherlands. Walk a few hours through an amazing park with thousands of coloured tulips and other spring flowers. Easy access by car or public transport. Fair pricing.

I could spend my life here, but we only had about two hours due to a tight schedule. I'm a gardener who lives in Florida so I can't grow the vast majority of the plants at Keukenhof. I had so much fun looking at all the different varieties of bulbs. The souvenir shops were reasonably priced. Mom and I discussed how much similar items would run at Disney World or Busch Gardens and we thought Keukenhof was very fair. I suggest going in the morning before it gets really crowded. We left about noon and the number of cars in the parking lot had dramatically increased. Be sure to visit the pavilions for special displays of other kinds of plants (orchids, alstroemeria, etc.)

Amazing place for a family day out, or friends date. Visiting this place during the tuilip season, i,e,. Between the month of April-june, as you may find the most sunny weather in this period of time and so you can enjoy the weather with beautiful tuilip garden.

This is definitely a place for families with kids or to show to your parents on their visit to Amsterdam. We're a young couple and we wanted to visit Keukenhof from a long time. However when we reached there it was a little disappointing, since it's just a garden and not much activities to do, it kind of gets boring if you're not that interested in getting to know all the species of flowers. It's definitely a worth visit for people who want to click great pictures or who are in Amsterdam as tourists. I would recommend you to rent a cycle once you reach there and cycle around the Keukenhof fields. You should visit Keukenhof before 25th April, because after that they harvest all flowers and the fields look barren.

It's a lovely garden, really nicely organized, with great walking paths and plenty of original flowers, but... overpriced and definitely overcrowded during the high season. I'd think twice before going there one more time, especially knowing that you can easily find nice spots and viewing point to fields of tulips just by driving your car/bike around the neighborhood.

Gardens are beautiful, but waaaaayyyy too many people, parking was a mess and inside all was only cash (except for some restaurants, which had huge qeues also), due to mass of people and "hunt for cash" and 45 min traffic jam to get off the parking, did not enjoy at all

Great experience. Great Park! However, you have to take care about the Seasons. I think april (second part)/is perfect. Nevertheless, I've been there in the end of march and it was great!

Words cannot describe how truly wonderful the gardens are . I had waited for years to visit and was not disappointed . The colours, the scents and perfumes gently wafting in the air all made for a perfect day .
One tip get there early and don't be afraid to get there yourself . Train and bus from Ansterdam using an area travel card is easy ,you can also return a totaly different way too which gives you more views of even more bulb fields

I would rank this garden as one of the top 20 worldwide (if not higher). It is only open 3 months of the year, but those 3 months are spectacular. It is well worth the entrance fee.

The gardeners do a great job of timing early-, mid-, and late-blooming bulbs of various kinds so there are areas that are filled with color throughout the spring.

It's not just tulips here. There are crocus, snowdrop, daffodils, hyacinth, grape hyacinth, tuilps, crown imperial, fritillaries, alliums, squill, and a few other types of bulbs throughout the garden.

There is also an orchid house, which has the best display of orchids that I have ever seen. (I have been to numerous botanical gardens, including Kew btw.)

There are both highly-structured formal gardens as well as more organic plantings. There is even a Japanese-style forest garden. (It is on the opposite end of the park from the windmill overlooking the tulip fields.

A lot of the tulips are labelled in case you wish to order bulbs from one of the bulb shops.

Lovely place! It was pretty easy to get there. There is a bus line from Schiphol airport (number 858), it's outside in the main entrance on the right after the stop of the hotels shuttle. I paid 26 euros ticket combined entrance + bus. Because the garden is in its last days, some of the flowers are already dead. It seems that the best time to go is as soon as it opens in April. But even way, it was worth to go. There are many toilets and places to eat inside the park. Be prepared to spend at least half a day because is big.

A very scenic place open just 2 months a year. Must see in the Netherlands. Things to take into account: visiting Keukenhof takes the whole day; there is a pretty long queue (up to 1 hour) to cash-desks and shuttle buses; the park is usually overcrowded after 11 AM. An all-in adult ticket costs 31. There are various lunch options inside, the prices are higher than usual. For example, half a roast chicken with potato and vegetables costs 13; a 180 ml bottle of wine is 5.

It's a very beautiful garden which is really 'instagram-able', but it's definitly not worth the 18 entry fee for an adult. Also important: you better go there in march/april where all tulips and flowers are still in their most beautiful form and aren't withered like they were today in mid may (last day before they close it for a while) - one could argue that they could make a discount for the entry or something because the flowers (about 30-40%) are simply not beautiful anymore.

Was struggling with an injured leg so can't judge it too accurately. Could only walk short distance. Very busy place and the transport from and back 'this is holland' was chaotic to say the least - very badly organised so expect to fight for a seat.

I took my mum here this year as it was her big dream to one day see the tulips bloom in the Netherlands. I'm very happy we went to Keukenhof, it truly is an unbeliveable and magical place. Never seen this many flowers in my life. Ideal place for families, and for your dogs if they can behave (do not dig out the flowers like some people's dogs :@) and you are happy to clean up after them. It's a long walk, so dress comfortably. There is a boat service on the canal, but you need to arrive early to buy ticket for it, which you can only do on the day and they sell out quickly. The windmill they have is beautiful, but hard to take a picture of. The food is great.

A completely crowded big park!! Definitely beautiful flowers, lots of effort probably to bring them into one place. But the disappointing part is, its too many people.

If you(the park management) selling a ticket, it means that you must control the capacity. Otherwise you only charging people for average quality experience. And filling your pockets. The bus was crowded as hell and everything in the park was double the price too. A below average experience.

So my suggestion is, if you planning your visit, I can tell you there are many beautiful parks in Amsterdam which you can go and chill and enjoy your time there instead.

The festival is really beautiful, you can spend a whole day walking in the gardens, with your kids, your dog.
It's very nice on the inside as well, where they did the arrangements and you can discover all the different sorts of flowers. The boat tour is very nice, relaxing and informative.
However, I do really advise you to go in the mid of April at least because in end of March and beginning of May the tulip fields are not blooming yet and it's a shame.

On the 2nd of April there weren't flowers yet, probably because this winter has been too cold. Big park and a lot of entertainment, I hope to visit it again in the future with more bloomed flowers

Wonderful place. Open from late March to May. A short bus ride from Schiphol (right at Arrival Hall 4) and Amsterdam. If you have a 6+ hour lay over at Schiphol, this wonderful garden will dazzle you from the jet lag. (I walked around for 4+ hours and enjoyed every minutes of it. Yet I could not complete the whole garden and needed to go back to catch a flight.) You can leave your luggage at the airport or just take it with you. (Free locker for smaller bags and free secured place to store the larger one.) Tulip fans or not, you will be thrilled.

Wasn t really sure what to expect, so was blown away because it was so pleasant and peaceful. Well maintained grounds, lots of different displays to enjoy. If you re going, aim to go first thing in order to avoid the tourist traffic getting there, and to enjoy without too many people in the background of your photos.
