Beautiful place, you just have to experience it to understand the beauty. Even those who are not obsessed by flowers this place will give you a good feeling.
An enchanting place, good for absolutely anything ! I would recommend clearing a whole day for this lovley place. Opens seasonally and it is usually crowded but not so much that you cannot enjoy the place. It's better to book the tickets online and wear comfortable shoes. You can also buy varieties of tulips and orchids. Definitely a must visit if you are in Netherlands.
Pick the right time then its the visit of your life
Great place to visit. one of the most pleasing places
Fantastic floral experience.
You need to pay extra for the Parking
Beautiful flowers! I went on the last day though, and heard the flowers are at full bloom in April. Would love to come back then!
Hate to say this but I expected something greater. Way too many tourists, not much to see, time consuming and too much of an effort to get there. Some flowers were beautiful but it kept repeating the same after all. Cost us over 60 to see Keukenhof and was a disappointment - for us. You might disagree :)
Must visit place if u are in Netherlands. Ur eyes will be filled with colours. I never knew tulips have so many colours till i visited the place. And it's easy to get there. Go to laiden central station, walk 50 meters ull find a store named VVV where u can buy passes for 24 /adult which includes return bus tickets and entry passes. Usually people take 3-4 hours to complete this place, and plus point is WC are free, and it's all over the garden.
Out of the world. Recommend to be the Eight wonder of the world.
The best ever spring garden in the world, please make sure that you reach early at about 9 am at Schiphol, if planning to see the flower parade. Flower parade happens once every year for 2 days
Great park - very spacious considering the number of tourists. It is split into different attractions and cafes, with heaps of flowers in between. Get the combi ticket which includes the bus fare from the airport or Amsterdam Rai
Words can not describe how beautiful, colorful and amazing this garden. Love it, it s worth 45 mins ride from Amsterdam Central Station. Unfortunately, it only opens in Spring time from mid March till mid May. The best time to visit is in April so you can see the flowers, roses and Tulips fully flourished.
There were thousands of beautiful flowers but I'm giving it 5 stars for the cute goats
What a fantastic bloom of tulips. It was a colour riot.. the pictures are no match to the experience of being there
Amazing botanical garden. Was in full bloom. Took the bus from Amsterdam. Very easy trip and enjoyable walking through the gardens. Highly recommend.
So beautiful and amazing this park . You can see thousands kind of flowers . I visited in Tulips festival ( April 2019 ).I so much surprise about here not only Tulips , here has beautiful cherry blossom blooming , too . I feel that is paradise or I am in dreaming .
White sakura and the tulips . I don't know have anything more beautiful than this image . In this moment I really don't take much pictures , I only stand there , open eyes, enjoy follow the winds , see flowers fly fly in the winds . open some nice songs . I already forgot all bad things happened in my life .
Tulip festival in Holland .The festival takes place from March 22 to May 20 . The main festival is held at the Keukenhof Park - the largest flower garden in the world in the town of Lisse in the southwest of Amsterdam. Festival named : Keukenhof Flower Festival . I am almost forgot that's in the real world , I think I'm in the dream . Price ticket : Adult : 18 euro .
Child : 8 Euro .
Parking : 6 Euro .
* a Indonesian who live in Holland comments to my post to say : Dutch will like to enjoy flowers in outside , field flowers than go to the park , they are like to enjoy free ( no pay ). But I think that is her think , her choice only , not all Dutch , Holland is not a poor country and they are make this festival for tourist only ? they are don't want to pay tickets for see different thousands of flowers ? ( ticket is not too high price for them , just same as buy a lunch )
I still recommend if have a chance , should go to this park , you can see much more thousands of kind of Tulips and so beautiful sakura together , I am a very poor person but I ready to pay for this ticket , it's deserve .
Amazing. such beautiful gardens, l was reluctant to go Oh but so worth while despite the crowds
The park was very beautiful and the bus service provided from Leiden was good.
Amazing place but unfortunately we missed to see the fields. Need to check the schedule when the fields are in full bloom
A lovely large garden filled with flowers. It was easy to get on the bus from Schipol after purchasing tickets online (although the bus was really packed and we ended up standing). Easy access to get in and you can get a free map after entry. The map helps in knowing which areas to visit. There are lots to see and one can easily spend a day there. Food is available indoors or outside (food trucks - the fries were delicious!). We unfortunately missed the opportunity to go to the flower fields which is a walk away. However, we were happy to see the variety of flowers inside the area. Tips: choose the right time to go otherwise flowers may not have bloomed, dress warmly, it will be crowded - so prepared for it!
Such a beautiful and amazing place... You will be awestruck.. You will have the time of your life.. Must visit this place
Amazing. Wait a whole year to be able to get there for the tulip seasons, and it's worth it, perfect to go and spend the day. The mosaics you get to see in these gardens are just out of this world, just an example of the talent these gardeners put every year to make this one the biggest spring garden in the whole world.
Beautiful flowers as far as the eye can see and colors galore.
Beautiful !
Can be done in 3-4 hours, really worth the price
One of the most beautiful place that i always wished to visit... nice ambiance, very kind staff... we really enjoy walking around the place we had I think thousand photos just for a day...
It was fantastic, so much to see, awe inspiring. Was with my 85 year old mother and plenty of seating for her to rest, viewing the surrounding while doing that. I would certainly recommend the experience to someone else, thank you for a really lovely day
Superb park for everyone...full color, fresh and entertaining
Amazing place - a must see!!! Be prepare to snap a lot of photos and used up all your memory space on your phone. Definitely a place where you can go for a full day.
Nice place to visit, however it's usually very crowded.
Incredible garden, but I was hoping for more information on gardening and tulips and also something about the industry. The was nothing about that. And it was also very crowded
A must visit place
Addictive natural colors
Can't find a nearby place more beautiful than this
Beautiful gardens! Go right when it opens to beat the crowds, you won t regret it!
Basically a large walking park for you to view nice little ponds and lots of flower arrangements. Probably best to come on a warm sunny day in late Spring. A bit pricey for what you get in my opinion, considering you can see much of the same type of thing at most public parks around the country. They claim to have some absurd about of flowers here, like 6 million or so. Overall, a peaceful, beautiful, calm place to visit. I can imagine it gets very crowded on warm sunny weekends.
The tulip festival was good. The entry fee for it a bit expensive though.
very beautiful gardens.. mix of tulips, hyacinths, lillies etc.. totally worth a visit during the tulip seasom (mid april to first week of may).. unfortunately the fields were all headed when i visited but there were still quite a few tulips still in bloom..
It is wonderful flower garden, It has not only tulips here but more flowers. Can not wait to visit again
Its a really nice place to visit, they are only open during spring
Well its pretty place, so big and you could just walk around and feel the nature, love to taking photos in here, but sad because there are some tourist who walk on the flower :(
Crowded but peaceful with beautiful flowers and bird song
What a stunning experience. It is a world wide must do.
Cozy garden!
We was in May and it was amazing flowers everywhere
Recommend to visit
Must visit when in Amsterdam. Easy conveyance from the airport.
Keukenhof is undoubtedly the most beautiful abode to the tulips. The best time to visit is during the season of full bloom between March and May.You may as well check the official website before planning a visit and I would recommend you buy a ticket online beforehand to avoid the long wait at the ticket counter. You can although avoid the boat ride to the fields which I personally did not find worthy enough because the fields were mostly barren.
Incredible. Exceeded my expectations. Even without the tulips the park is beautiful and had great playground and small petting zoo and fun food stations.. add all the tulips and it was great
The garden is really awesowe, but I was in the traffic jam for one hour before I came to the parking and for about 45 minutes to get out of the parking. This is a disaster.
The flowers are beautiful, must have experience in life
Worth a visit, loved the way they create tulip gardens
Beautiful landscaping with an amazing variety of flowers. The primary attractions were outdoors, so having nice weather was valuable, but there are also indoor areas. Food and drinks inside were pricey but not unreasonable. Crowd was larger than expected in the early afternoon, but not big enough to detract from my experience. Nearby is a bike rental which has paths designated for biking through the nearby tulip fields.
The history of Keukenhof goes back to the 15th century. During the summer months, thousands of tourists fall, like the grasshoppers in the park.
The large park offers a huge selection of beautiful flowers and plants from all over the world. Great.
Worth to visit for the whole environment. Visit on the first day of opening this year, many of the flower not bloom yet but it is kinda worth to visit. Can imagine during mid of April after all flower blossom it will be very nice.
Beautiful as usual! This year I took my young dog, very friendly and he loved himself.
So GORGEOUS... tulips were partially done but still very pretty!!! Well worth the trip!!!
Absolutely stunning! So many bright colors that my eyes hurt afterwards. Plus, my kids loved petting and feeding the playful baby goats.
Will return at a different point of the year.
It was very crowded so go early.
Cafes are poor.
Over 7 million bulbs will bloom this spring, with a total of 800 varieties of tulips. Besides the spacious 32 hectares of flowers you can enjoy the spectacular flower shows, surprising inspirational gardens, unique art and wonderful events. Keukenhof is also fun for the children. They will have a blast with the treasure hunt, petting farm, maze and the playground.
Keukenhof is usually open only for 2 months: from 21 March - 19 May
Must go if you love flowers and tulips in particular! Best to go in end april to early may as that's when the tulips are in full bloom. There are tulips of all colours and sizes! And the landscaping is just beautiful. It's a huge park with flowers everywhere. Prepare to spend about 3hours or more if you want to explore the whole place!
Beautiful botanical garden in Lisse. Make the most out of your trip and avoid the crowds by arriving early (between 8am to 10:30am). Parking costs 6 euros for the entire day. Friendly staff, clean restrooms and a wide selection of More
wonderful place to see the origin flower from netherland which is "Tulip" , please come to these place during summer, before mid of May . Also dont forget to buy the online ticket to skip the line, because this place is the most visited places in Amsterdam during the summer. So, buy ticket in the store is the worst choices.
Beautiful, breathtaking place with great history. Must see in Holland!
