Beautiful place. Amazing array of tulips. A must visit.
Tulips tulips tulips everywhere.. Imagine any colour and you can find a tulip of that colour
Well decorated garden with colourful tulips all around! Best time to visit in April last week to see even the fields..
Very touristy.
Totally worth it.
Absolutely outstanding flower park.
All beverages and snacks are poor quality and EXPENSIVE. So bring your own.
Good connection with their own buses (one from Leiden Centraal).
Overall, wonderful experience!
Abundant amount of beautiful varieties of Tulip can be seen here... Awesome garden and beautiful landscapes of flowers..
One of the finest spring gardens in the world, it makes my heart sing
The gardens were absolutely beautiful, though a bit busy.
Great location to see the tulips. Plenty of free bathrooms and water stations so you can enjoy the flowers without worrying about paying for extras.
Beautiful place, amazing on this time because all tulips are blooming
I m not much of a flower or garden person but I was impressed. The place is huge - will take you at least 2 hours to walk around. There are a few buildings to visit, a small animal farm, and several creative paths through the gardens.
Amazing place, huge area lots of amazing tulips and flowers with ood and a large park for the kids.
Heaven on earth! Most beautiful place on the planet
That is one of a kind place. The biggest tulips garden in the world. It is preferable to buy the tickets online from the official website. The distance is quite short from Amsterdam. (I.e. 30 minutes). Morning times are also better. Visiting Keukenhof is a great opportunity to take beautiful memorial photos. Restaurnts are available there as well, with fair prices. I visited the park once and i don't mind going again!
Absolutely beautiful! Can only imagine what it would be like a month later.
Nice place but heavily overcrowded. I was there end of April and I believe most of the tulips were already overblown. It was hard to enjoy the nature with houndreds of people constantly passing you by.
Very brilliant place to visit at the end of March, when the spring comes and the park is opened to the public each year. It provides tulips in a variety of styles and colors from many different countries, as well as greenhouses with various themes. Besides, public transportation is also provided for the communication to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport and Leiden central station.
I really enjoyed myself. My husband and I went for our 12th anniversary. The flower were beautiful and it smelt so good!!!
Dont miss that paradise in Earth! I did more than 1000photos there. Couldnt stop looking all these flowers&enjoying these decorative gardens.
7 million tulips. Great combinations. Arrive as early as possible. 15 minute walk from bus stop.
It is nice place and home of million Tulips and other flowers. For getting cheaper entrance fee you can go with 20 more people.
We had heard many great things about the Keukenhof flower garden, mainly that it was a must if we wanted to see the most beautiful flower garden that the Netherlands has to offer. We thought the price was quite high for a flower garden; 26 euros including transport to and from Lisse train station. This seemed a fair price to pay considering what we had heard, though.
It was a beautiful day that we visited, which meant we were much more excited on the way there than we expected. Buying our tickets and getting into the garden was painless, but as soon as we went through the gates we knew that this would not be as relaxing and easy as we thought. The sight that greeted us in Keukenhof reminded us all too painfully of living in London and visiting Oxford Street on a Saturday. In other words, it was super crowded.
The sheer number of people took away a lot of the enjoyment we would have had from Keukenhof, unfortunately. People were not exaggerating that the flower displays here were amongst the most beautiful in the world, but when you are constantly being pushed forward by the sea of people and trying to look around the hundreds of people taking photos it is hard to appreciate this beauty. This extended to everything else in the gardens; the queues for toilets, food and drink were at least 20 minutes each, and there were nowhere near enough benches and chairs for the number of people here. After your 20+ minute wait, you were then greeted with extortionate prices for less than average food.
For the beauty of the gardens we would give this 5 stars, but the number of people (and how unsuitable the facilities were for this many people) really brought these gardens down. If you don't mind fighting through crowds and being pushed along while trying to enjoy the flower displays this might not be too bad, but our visit was ruined by these crowds. I would really suggest to the organisers that they set a ticket limit for each day; it seems that the owners care more about how much money they're making each day than how much their guests enjoy it. Top tip for potential visitors - if you can avoid it don't go on the weekend!
It is a place where I will go every year. The best garden in the whole world.
Nice place... If you love gardening or traditional culture of the Netherlands you should go there
Amazing scents and views!!! Absolutely worth visiting!!!
Okay, the tulips are next level here. Like actually. I really doubt there is anything else like it anywhere, worldwide. The issue is that THE WHOLE PLANET IS LITERALLY HERE VISITING THE GARDEN. Get here early or you will actually be rubbing elbows with strangers for hours. Consider taking a train to the closest village and just walking (or biking) there. If you take a bus you'll be stuck in traffic for hours.
Some people in these reviews claim you can get the same experience for free by renting bikes and cruising beside the tulip fields. I agree that this can be done but it's not quite the same experience as the cultivated tulip beds in the garden.
Too busy, too crowded, and too expensive but totally worth it.
Nice experience to be there,in wright time of year. Park is very busy, 22.April 2017 we couldn't get over. Would advise to be there early morning asap.
First 30 minutes is enjoyable... Beautiful tulip garden... After that is kind of boring watching same flower again... The entry ticket is pricey...
Amazingly beautiful, a unique experience. Without doubt, one of the musts in the Netherlands. The price is quite high but the garden deserves every cent.
Lovely lovely day well worth getting out of Amsterdam and vising this I went by myself metro and bus ride from Amsterdam central station cost me about 30 e you can eat there or bring a picnic
Excellent place.. Very beautiful tulips flower garden... Worth visiting for sure..
Beautiful park to visit especially during the tulip season (Apr - May). With so many things to see in the park, it is worth dedicating at least 3-4 hours when visiting the park.
A wonderful display of tulips which will form an everlasting memory. A must see once in your lifetime
beautiful huge tulip flower garden but very very crowded
Amazing experience! A perfect place to chill and relax. You'll definitely feel peaceful!
Amazing. Can't go wrong of you go at the right time of the year
i visited on 19th May 2019 and it was supposed to be last day for the entry to keukenhof , Though it was beautiful flowers , sadly i came to know that after reaching here is the Tulips from the farm lands will be supposedly cut 3 weeks before , so i could not get any view of the images that people post , This place will be more beautiful, if you can come in the month of APRIL
Lasts for 45 days, a very well organised tulip gardens and fields outside.
For a perfect visit start in the second week till 10 days before it closes. First week not all flowers are in bloom and last 10 days the tulips are no more bulbs.
All in a very memorable and photogenic place. A must visit if you in Netherlands or nearby during that period.
Awesome. If you are nature lover, it's heaven for you. If not, then you will fall in love with it.
Amazing garden, a must go if you re visiting Holland during it s season
I went there for the flowers and the tulips. A great and memorable day.
Great place to visit during the spring time. Opwn only for two months, keukenhof is a festival of natural color. It can be pretty crowded though
Just loved this place. Can spend an entire day here.
The colour variance and the mix of different flowers species makes this place one of the most unique places in the world.
Great place, sometimes could be too crowded. Lady at the cashier desk didn't want to give a second map, while she had a big pile in front of her.
It's good but because I went on the last day of this season most of the flowers had wilted. And there's just good things to see not much to do.
Go early in the tulip season and you won't be disappointed. There is so much beauty to be seen.
For the lovers of flowers. Bring your camera and preoare the day. There are so many differents flowers to see.
I had no clue there were so many different varieties of tulips. This place was truly stunning. Acre after acre of vibrant color! It was amazing. I ve never seen anything like it in my life.
Keukenhof, also known as the Garden of Europe, is one of the world's largest flower gardens, situated in Lisse, South Holland, Netherlands. According to the official website for the Keukenhof Park, approximately 7 million flower bulbs are planted annually in the park, which covers an area of 79 acres.
The park is situated on 15th century hunting grounds.
The staff were phenomenal and there was a great deal on admission that included a bus ride to and from the park! A truly stunning experience. Don t miss out!
Wonderful garden to visit in Spring. Check their website to make sure the tulips are in blossom and don't miss the opportunity even if you have enough layover in Amsterdam. You can buy a ticket including transportation from/to the airport.
Flowers everywhere but no gimmicks to attract tourists
Keukenhof is a lovely place to visit but they really need to improve the food. One thing I have come to count on in Europe is you can get reasonably priced good quality food at the restaurants inside major attractions. Unfortunately the food at Keukenhof was a major disappointment.
The portions are very small and everything appeared to have been sitting for a while.
First time ever to Amsterdam and the tulip gardens. It was so colorful. It was rainy and cold, but still well worth it.
A not to miss experience. Food for the heart and soul. Happy ending of the day being surrouneded by nature's beauty.
Amazing variety of flowers and overall really pretty. Lots of good spots for great photos but can be really crowded so make sure you get there early.
We went here for the Castlefest fantasy festival, which was awesome
No doubt the most beautiful garden in the world, worth to visit, very crowded! Staff very friendly! And Tulips for the millions!
Very environment friendly, huge place to walk around, tourist attraction. food available in the garden. Need minimum of 2hrs time to explore the place. Water available. Parking is available. Best time to go is during May till July month!!
The place is magical, but can get really crowded during the weekend especially with holidays around. If you don't like masses of picture taking tourists, I strongly suggest coming here as early as possible. Also don't take the bus from the airport, take the one from Hoofddorp instead or you'll be waiting in a queue.
was early season and the full bloom was not in progress
Worst ever quality of bus used for transportation from Amsterdam which nearly suffocated the passengers. In turn affected the total experience in the gardens. A big NO for COMBI ticket. Not worth the spend.
It s really the world of flowers...we visited there mid of April and spent more than half day over there.
such a fabulous place to cool your eyes. Make sure you dont spend more time there..
