Amazing garden, not too far away and very accessible from Amsterdam Centrum. The expense variety of tulips will amaze you even if not a flower lover. Lots of parking available, as well as multiple eating and snacking options. Expect big crowds - this place is open only for a few months per year.

This is the most overrated attraction in the Netherlands. Entrance to the park is 16 + 5 parking. The park was incredibly crowded, there was no fun in the visit as it was more fighting our way through than anything else. The "orchid show" house was composed of orchids, in pots, the same kind you find at your local florist. It was very very disappointing.

Beautiful, well kept garden outside of Amsterdam. Got package that included bus ride, which was convenient if a little pricier than figuring out public transportation. Lucky to have seen the tulips in full bloom.

Great place to see tulip garden.

Great place to see tulip garden.

I would recommend going to the tulip fields rather than wasting time in visiting whole park. Though it's good theme park but if you want to see tulip fields you just have to take a cycle ride or canal ride.

Worth visiting

You'll never be the same after spending the day at their Spring flower festival. Paradise. You can even buy bulbs from their collection and have them shipped to your home country at the right time for planting.

Must visit when tulips are in season. Very nice place. Well organized. Beautiful tulips. Great photo opportunities. Reasonable priced food. Plenty of free restrooms. Would return again.

The park is simply lovely: well organized, easy to reach thanks to the extra transportation from the train station (Leiden or Amsterdam). Tip: reserve online at least a week before if you plan to go on a day like Easter: if it's really busy and you haven't reserved you may end up not being allowed to get in. They care a lot about the experience (and safety too), so only a certain amount of visitors are allowed in the park at the same time.

The gardens are beautiful in spring. With thousands of colorful tulips.it is a place that attracts a lot of people every spring. What i did not like about Keukenhof is that although there are plenty of restaurant area's these are all so crowded that there is no way you can find a place to sit.

Another problem Keukenhof had, is their exit procedure from the parking lot. Because there was not enough personel to manage the traffic on the parking lot it took more than an hour to move our car a few meters. After complaining other exits were opened and the traffic jam started to dissolve. I can not imagine that this was the first time that they had to manage their crowded parking lot, but it seems to me that they just don't care.

Pro's.

Pro's.

Beautiful flowers.
Nice weather.
Clean park.
Playground for kids

Con's:
Expensive entry and parking.
Prices in restaurants/kiosk are way too high.
For one bol ice 2,50????
Long queu for foods/ drinks.
Staff in restaurants looked bored as if they can't see you.
Too crowded. Too many people.
Extremely dirty restrooms/toilets.

Do I want to come back here?
Yes, over 50 years OR something.
For now? No way.
Not worth a trip with traffic jam and high prices entry. Ridiculous.

Amazing experience. So well run with more than enough facilities for everyone. Food very tasty. Everywhere spotless. Displays of all the flowers was magnificent A credit to everyone involved in this center.

A truly magical place to visit; endless flowers and trails. We spent about 6 hours total in the park walking and taking pictures. They have more than adequate cafes for a hot lunch, snack or beverage. We visited on Monday April 23, the crowds were not bad once you got past the main gate. This is a must visit when you are in Holland. Bonus tip - rent bikes out front and travel the tulip fields that surround Kuekenhof; it is very easy and there are no crowds! Getting to and from Schipol Airport with the combine tickets is super easy - bus lines up just past the public transit stops and is clearly marked. Runs every 15-minutes, the lines move quickly.

Very beautifully planned garden and 4-5 hours are enough to appreciate beauty of nature. I must say that the actual tulip fields are not part of this garden and they are en-route to keukenhof from Amsterdam.
Visitors should keep couple of hours for tulip fields to enjoy this area to fullest.
Best season to visit keukenhof would be mid April onward.

Its everything you expected and seen in photos. Went on a Monday about noon and it was very crowded. Best to go later in afternoon and stay till sunset as the park is less crowded and the sunlight is beautiful against the amazing tulips beds. The boat cruise within the park was disappointing. Didn't add to the experience.

Massively spectacular floral display, mostly a huge variety of tulips.
The event was well organized, plenty of parking, kiosks and facilities.
You can buy tickets on the internet or at the gate on the day.
A must see.

Just visited the botanical garden of tulips in keukenhof. It's good but not worth 17euro ticket and plus travelling cost. If you just want to admire the tulips in their best form visit the open fields in Netherlands which is free instead of paying and visiting just average garden.

If you love flowers, you will love this place. Like in a fairytale, you will be surrounded by all kinds of beautiful flowers. You will need at least 5 hours to visit the hole place. Go first at the bout ride, the waiting time is at least an hour. It is a very busy place, we were in a Monday and it was so busy, that we didn't belive it.

A must see place. This was my second time here and I am impressed it s different than the last time. It has different theme every year and this year is called flower power .
The only cons is it s veryyy crowded.

Amazing, no wonder why there are so many foreigners, it is really worth seeing, and even though this is crowded it's a place to go, it takes half a day to visit if you really take your time, and you should really take the rest of your time to visit Leiden if you take the bus from here, Leiden is worth seeing as well and not crowded.

Lots of gardens to walk through and appreciate the flowers. Place is a bit crowed but it's still worth to visit. Good infrastructure with lots of restaurants, easy access to facilities like bathrooms. Tickets go for around 30 with transport included. I would recommend visiting it in the middle of April. We went there in the beginning of May (close to the end of tulip season) so we missed some flower fields which make this place so famous.
