Too crowded! (To be fair we went on the Sunday right before Easter)
Also, didn't worth the trip. I assure you, there is absolutely nothing especial about this place, except if you're a flower maniac or something. A small area with little gardens of flowers. Meh!

Amazing garden curation. Super fun place to see the Amsterdam tulips in their best forms. They are truly spectacular. They colors, Dutch classics, and exhibits were all incredible to see, and everywhere in the gardens is a beautiful tulip field or patch around the next corner. Truly amazing place.

Fantastic place to visit for all ages.

Fantastic place to visit for all ages.
We went on Easter Sunday 21st April. Having read other reviews we had an early start.

We had combo tickets, booked on the website. however I didn't realise when booked that there is no bus from central Amsterdam. We were staying at De Pijp area, and had to travel to the airport to get a coach to the gardens.

Tip 1: at the airport head to arrival point/gate 4. You'll see the Starbucks there (there are few at the airport), go outside and all coaches depart from there.
We were searching for a coach for 20min at the airport, and asked the lady at information office, who just pointed towards the wrong Starbucks saying its just outside there. No signs anywhere- a bit strange that keukenhof don't put signs inside during the season.

Coaches coming one after another, so line is moving quickly, be prepared to stand inside.

Very crowded in the park, however there are plenty shops, cafes, toilets around.

Tip 2: wear something nice, think of the thousands of colourful photos you'll be talking. I would've suggested to wear white top and comfortable waking shoes.

Tip 3: allow enough time to go on a bike ride to see the fields. We had to queue 1 hour to get the bike (Easter Sunday after all!), and it was worth it. Go to the fields and enjoy. It cost 10 euros for up to 3 hours. Take a sun hat with.

While in Amsterdam- go and visit the gardens and all the pavilions inside. Enjoy!

Very nice set up of the park and flowers. If you want to stroll around the entire park, hitting all corners, it may take 5-6 hours. We went around the outer portion and did it in 3 hours. Important - COME EARLY! !! The garden opens at 8, we got there at 9 and it was easy to get around. By 11 it was crowded, by 12 it was packed.

Good one

Beautiful but overrated. I've been hearing about this place for years and finally went there today. It was very crowded, cold and rainy and when the rain really started people rushed to the places to eat and drink and were competing for seats. Food was junk, pizzas and pastas mainly. The kind you would find in amusement parks. After 3 hours of navigating between the tulips and people struggling to get their ideal slefies, I was glad to finally leave the place. On a warm and sunny day, if it wouldn't be so crowded I could definitely imagine it being a very nice visit.

Absolutely stunning gardens that really show off the flowers grown in the area at their best. Obviously, it's a seasonal thing - we were there at the beginning of May - but the variety of plants and the amazing patterns the gardeners create with their planting are stunning. A must visit.

Beautiful Garden, one of a kind of experience. The garden is big. It takes around 3-4 hours time to visit. There are good restaurants inside. However a few things missing. Like a toy train or battery car for elderly people.
You dont get an access to the long Tulip flower beds (which are outside the park). You have to rent a cycle and goto those flower beds but yet you dont get access to get closer to the flower. You can take pictures from a distance.

Superb place. Superlative!! Easily accessible. We used public transport and in no place did we find it difficult to carry buggy for our toddler. Photos do not justify the beauty of this place. We were with 2kids ( 2yrs and 6yrs old) and both had a great time. There is also a play area and a petting farm inside the gardens. Toilets and restaurants are very conveniently placed. The boat ride and views from the top of the windmill are breathtaking. Staff members were really warm and welcoming. Exhibitions were very informative and beautiful. Keukenhof gardens are usually open from end of March to mid May. A must visit place in Netherlands.

Well worth the trip. Easy to get around and lots to do and see. Very helpful and engaging staff, from the groundsmen, ice cream stall sellers and ticket checkers at the entrance and exit to the ladies wearing traditional Dutch style outfits- all made us feel welcome.

Beautiful place! Magic! If you are in Holland during the period that the Keukenhof is open, it is mandatory to be there! Very nice structure and if you have a kid, they have nice playgrounds for them! It's not a boring place, it's wonderful!

Beautiful park. We visited it on the busiest day of the year, but it was worth it, the flowers were awe inspiring. The park has a couple of restaurants, a petting zoo for the little ones with mainly farm animals and one beautiful lonely peacock and a few rest/snack/WC areas.
