Beautiful place but time your visits well or else you ll find a tourist for every tulip
Loved the picturesque experience. All the blooms are so magical that we really followed the route from the entrance to the last stop encountering various hardworked flowers. Never had this much flower power experience. I wonder what they do with those flowers if they lose the bloom?
Beautiful gardens 30 mins outside of Amsterdam. The crowds on even on a Tuesday were significant but if you take the correct paths you can find pockets where you have the place to yourself. Despite the info on their website about midday being best time to avoid crowds, we found arriving early got us ahead of the bulk of the crowds.
Even at the last day of the season the outdoors were beautiful and really taken care off. But the taste of the indoors decoration, the inside of the greenhouses was so bad. It's a shame that with the amount of brilliant colours and beauty, they are able to spoil such a view with cheap and ugly decorations, creepy mannequins and plastic looking elements. It's so easy to keep it simple and one color and let the flowers and plants speak for themselves, but no, they decided to create this canned tourism expensive product for redneck tourists. Maybe they should hire a real art director who can make the best out of such a potential.
Wonderful place to visit. In my opinion It is a must if you go to Netherlands.
Big park full of flowers - tulips. Enormous garden.
Here you can see different types, colours sizes of tulips.
Huge pictures are made from flowers.
There is also places to sit and eat.
Beautiful place to visit and spend a day. You can take a few hours walking around the gardens before renting a bike and taking a tour through the farms. A must visit for any outdoor lovers when visiting Amsterdam.
Wonderful spring garden, nice flower carpet, flower show arrangements, well defined pathway, restaurant, restrooms etc.
Better to visit in the early hours to avoid crowd. After 10 the park was crowded including the restuarants and rest rooms.
It was a fantastic to see different types of tulips, and some beautiful orchids
Excellent display of flowers, the tulips looked very photogenic and the climate this time of the year is pleasant to walk around and explore. The theme this time was "Love", and the exhibitions inside the multiple auditoriums reflected just that. It's one of the most famous events in Amsterdam with a new theme every year, and is definitely worth a visit.
I love the Keukenhof. Love the flowers, the themes and of course watching all the tourists "uhm and ahhh" over the wonderment of the simple bulb. Always a pleasure to visit.
Here's the deal with Keukenhof - for flower and garden lovers, for families, for people who like nature and culture... it is simply overwhelmingly fantastic. Impossible to capture in pictures, the scale and magnitude is so much more impressive than you imagine. Immaculate and thoughtful, at times whimsical, at others contemplative. But always fully immersive and joyously colorful. An incredible, incredible treat.
I am at awe with its beauty. This is the main reason why i went to visit Netherlands. Its amazing to see various types of tulips i never thought existed. Bring some water and little snacks with you and wear comfortable shoes. Come on mid april to mid May when the tulips are in its full glory.
I think the most peacefully & luckyliest place on earth at this time of the year for everyone?
Closed now! Open next year on the 21th of march 2019
Worth a visit. Beaitiful flowers with great variety!
Beautiful is the only word that comes to my mind when I think of this place. Must visit but in the right weather.
Beautiful place, if you are in the area, don't miss it but is in may when is thr best to see coz is when the tulips are blossoming
The best garden ever!! You will simply fell in love with all the flowers!
Fantastic amazing amount of bulbs and spring flowers.
The best place to visit. One can see variety of tulip flowers here..Extremely well maintained. Must go place.
A true "Eden" on Earth. Just beautiful and amazing.
a must to go place. the conservatory provides awesome species of tulips.
Really beautyfull and colourfull place! A lot of flower! Everybody must see this and spend one day in Keukenhof!
We were at the end of season and most of the tulips were picked up. Ticket price was not fare for that time.
We had so much fun. Went there on a bus from Tours&Tickets Amsterdam. It was very worthwhile.
Lovely, nice to walk around all the well maintained flower gardens.
Keukenhof is paradise and is synonymous to Netherland. One must manage the right time of the year to visit this paradise since it is not in bloom whole year and missing it just unaffordable.
The most beautiful place on Earth! You have to hit gis place in mid April- early May. I had a blast and it's just eye candy for a photographer!
Beautiful flowers of all colors, spectacular nature's creation
It's an amazing garden, but WAY too overcrowded. We went on a Sunday at the end of April, we had to queue with the car for over one hour to reach the park, so be patient and prepared. I would suggest to buy tickets online if you want to skip the line at the entrance. Best view is going on the Mill. If you are lucky and they haven't cut most of the tulips, the view is amazing.
Great place for tulips after a while was a bit boring we couldn't find van gough potrait
Wonderful display of flowers. It is a great day out with the kids. Lots of places to eat and no shortage of toilets.
Terribly over priced. Awfully busy. Dont go... go to your local park... or pop round to your local florist and take photos for free.
Stunning! Absolutely worth the visit although we drove more than three hours, but it was worth it.
I did not see the gardens. I was there for Castlefest. Loved the location though.
Completely a tourist venture but very good at what it does. There were a few Dutch plant enthusiasts there too! So many bulb flowers not just tulips. Many different styles of gardens over a big park so it's easy to move out from the crowd. Food was pretty reasonable. They sell plants as well as the usaul tourist stuff.
Beautiful place to spend free time outdoors. Persons who are not experts in flowers will also be delighted
beautiful park in Netherland on spring season, many kind of flower varieties, especially tulips, roses and orchid. Every year has different theme for the flower decoration. full of tourist everyday, big space for parking and free, ticket for adult 20 euro and kids10 euro, better but online ticket, cheaper 2 euro per person .
Beautiful flower garden, definitely worth visiting. Unfortunately open only from March till May what makes it pretty busy most of the time.
It was a rainy weekend but that didn't stop us from spending the entire day there. If the weather was pleasant it would have been much more crowded, so it was nice to feel like we had the gardens to ourselves in the afternoon.
Transit from Rome
It was my best experience in my itinerary and I thoroughly enjoyed it. First thing if you are staying in a hotel at Amsterdam please check at the reception if they sell the tickets to this park. In my case I bought the ticket from the hotel I was staying for the park entry and to travel to park to and fro. Please ensure that you buy a day pass for traveling to park and back, this ticket will allow you travel by train, metro, tram & bus for 24 hours. Both park ticket and travel ticket costed me 43.5 . The bus no 858 goes to Keukenhof Gardens from Schiphol Airport, to reach the Airport you can take train or bus from Amsterdam central. This is really worth the Visit. If you want to skip the ticket line ensure you buy the ticket at the hotel itself or online.
It's a wonderful flower garden, must visit Amsterdam's to do list
We waited more than 2 hours just to get out of the parking! No traffic regulation of surrounding roads during the peaks makes the whole place locked for hours
Too early to visit...this is 10th of April...majority of the plants are yet to bloom...best time to visit is May for sure..
Wow! Wow! And Wow! That's the only words that are coming out of my mouth in praise of the most beautiful spring garden of the world and an ambassador for Tulips in the world!!! Hail Holland!!
Beautiful garden, hugely popular for its tulips. Definitely worth a full-day trip. Numerous varieties of flowers on display. Very much like The Buchart Gardens on Vancouver Island, BC, Canada. Could be a lot of walking once inside, so you may rent a wheelchair if going with an elderly person. Choose a nice sunny day (March-April) for this attraction, and you won't regret it. Ample parking, but not free. Highly recommended!
A must see attraction in Netherland. You can immerse yourself into the sea of tulips. A good place to spend a full day with kids and enjoy the nice weather and colourful flower. Best to come between April & May.
Good place to visit with family, perfect for weekends. Good variety of Tulips on display.
It s one of the most busiest place during the season. We went during 1st week of May and it was raining on and off but place was beautiful and we had wonderful time. There hundreds of plants, flowers and decorative trees. There are just 2 or 3 places for eating and cash was only accepted for buying ice creams. Wind mill was a surprise for us and we were allowed to go inside and climb as well
