Extremely interesting, they enjoyed works of art of world renown: paintings by Edgar Degas, Rubens, Rembrandt, Bosch, Durer, Warhol and many other works. You can get to seasonal exhibitions. There is an interesting application for a smartphone that helps to look at some pictures differently.

Be careful with what is advertised as exhibited. Advertise Warhol, and they only have one piece. And the audio was only for one (other) piece in the modern section, which is the main reason for me to visit. Also Monet, only three pieces. The Picasso was good, but the lack of Warhol ruined it and put a damper on things...

My wife and I visited the Albertina in late November to see the Monet exhibition. It was wonderful, showcasing the development of the artist over time, and how Monet's work was influenced by Eugene Boudin and his contemporaries, such as Renoir, Manet and Sisley. We also visited the "Monet to Picasso" exhibit, which we highly recommend seeing. The museum does a wonderful job of showing the development of modern art.

A very beautiful and recommended place, important and respectable works of art, arousing admiration and emotion. When we got to the place, we were disappointed to discover that they had closed part of the floor in favor of an event of privileged people.

One of the most famous museums in a beautiful building. Very impressive special exhibitions!
You completely forget the time there!
Tip: to avoid long queues, join the short queue shortly before closing on the day before the planned visit. Buy the card for the next day - and then simply go through the next day - if possible at lunchtime!
The many visitors get lost in the museum itself!

In the former residence of the Saxon-Cieszyn duke Albert - son of the Polish king August III - we find graphics by Durer, Picasso, Klimt ... A great place. It seems to me that there were fewer tourists here in other museums. Vienna Card holders can count on a discount (entry ticket 12 instead of 16 Euro).

What can I say? In a class of its own. I saw the exhibition "From Monet to Picasso". Worth every money. And admission is only 13 euros. It is also worth taking a smartphone. With the help of a special application you will see in the paintings what cannot be seen with the naked eye (and headphones)

I state that there is nothing in Vienna to which I would not give the maximum score. The Albertina obviously does not avoid this special classification. While we admired the Opera House, the Albertina appeared in More

Absolute must! (Perhaps due to the constantly changing exhibitions every time you visit Vienna?!)
We saw the current "Munch-Chagall-Picasso" exhibition. But also everything else! - from the emperor to the modene! What a "range" - from beautiful to insanely interesting !!!

Please experience for yourself!

The Albertina is itself a very beautiful building right in the center of Vienna. It's permanent collection, "Monet to Picasso" is one of the best art collections I've seen. The art is organized in a very clear timeline of art movements, with each movement having a detailed history and explanation. The exhibition is a great introduction to art of the time period.

As usual, throughout Vienna, the interiors and the whole decor delight.
The building has an exhibition of paintings that can be viewed carefully, there are no barriers, protection does not impose. There are seats if someone needed to rest or just look at the paintings.
I am glad that I could see live pictures of coin and Picasso.

This visit has been a pleasure for me for many years. The magnificent state rooms alone are viewed with astonishment. Again and again special exhibitions of important artists. You should plan some time for the variety of the exhibits. Various art eras stretch over three floors and delight the visitor.
