To pass through these spaces and to be able to record art in various forms is a great pleasure.
A lot of interesting works, even for people who are not interested in art on a daily basis.
One of the greatest museums in Vienna. Large collection of impressionists, Picasso, and modern art. Variety of important temporary exhibitions.
The mood at night is quite special, making the museum not only a museum, but also the attraction of "Before Sunrise" at dawn and dawn!
Nice museum. A pearl of Vienna. But why you have to hand in your identity card for the group wardrobe is a mystery and, moreover, illegal
We can see various exhibitions at reasonable prices ~
Last day of the "Rafael" exhibition. Despite a lot of people a good flow through the museum, the queue to buy tickets was quickly worked through. Always a pleasure.
About the exhibition: a dream!
We liked the state rooms the best, only touched the rest.
Have to set aside all day. A few hours is not enough.
An amazing gallery. I was already in a few, but it was the most enthusiastic of me. If you want to go to the gallery in Vienna, just visit this gallery.
Incredible. Sick people with small medical devices on the go must also take off the jackets. The new regulations are totally a joke.
+ interesting exhibitions
+ good mix of styles through permanent & special exhibitions
+ excellent lighting
+ Free box
+ no barriers, you are very close to the paintings
~ Descriptions of paintings (tables) are often more praiseworthy than background
~ Okay in price but not cheap
- Avoid Sundays and public holidays (especially the special exhibitions are often overcrowded)
Horovitz, Leibl and Warhol to Richter very detailed and impressive!
A mix between museum and palace. You can see paintings, sculptures and palace rooms with their furniture. Has it all. If you only have one day to visit Vienna, I recommend it. Admission is around 17. It has 4 floors where there are works by Warlhol, Picasso, Schiele, Monet, etc ... It is not very long to go. On rainy days it is an ideal museum, storing the umbrella is free.
One of vienna's great Museums. famous exhibitions for and with famous artists. a must see for visitors to Austria's capital city!
Would be interesting. Unfortunately, it only locks up at 10am and we were there at 9am. Since it was cold and pouring in, we did not want to wait an hour. Especially since the other shops still had closed. "I think I work in the wrong state.
Lovely. Take a jacket, it's quite fresh inside. LOOK! exhibition is fun
great admiration for this house, best museum in town!
A museum that currently has a famous exhibition, paintings by Albrecht Durer (15th-16th century art genius)
Beautiful museum with beautiful exhibits and a beautiful collection
Wonderful picture collections and as a bonus the Palace Rooms!
The paintings that are inside are really beautiful! Enjoy them!
Monument to a great musician always pleasant to see .... in a beautiful context.
Preview, presentation, opening of the
Exhibition C.Monet, just great.
Went to see an exhibition on the development of art from c.1880 to c.1960. Lots of great originals, from Monet, Renoir, Gauguin, Munch, Kandinsky, Klee, Magritte etc. This was only one of around a dozen or so exhibitions in various parts of the museum.
A wonderful place with very well curated exhibitions
The Albertina is a museum in Vienna that houses one of the oldest and largest graphic arts halls. There are nearly 65,000 drawings, more than a million graphics, as well as fairly modern graphics, photographs and architectural drawings. In addition to these collections, there are two really significant collections of famous artists such as Pablo Picasso, Claude Monet, Paul Cesan, Pierre-Auguste Renoir and more. There are also temporary exhibitions in Albertina.
The state rooms are particularly recommended because you can film and photograph here without restriction.
Encourage you to take photos. Staff incredibly friendly, and the exhibition felt incredibly personal with no boundaries between you and the art. Would highly recommend. Best art exhibition I've ever been to.
One of the greatest experiences. I recommend to split the visit in two or three days though as the collection it's huge.
I was the second time and the second time a revelation. If you want to advertise Vienna to someone, Albertina is the absolute number one showcase
Albertina is in the center of Vienna. Convenient for tourists, small rooms with excellent works.
One of the most beautiful museums. Again and again wonderful exhibitions inspire art and culture enthusiasts. I'm looking forward to the next visit!
Very beautiful ultra-modern museum, beautiful impressionist exhibition
Every visit paid off, definitely worth the visit !!
Almost fainted between 100 Monet paintings after 11 hours of visiting museums. But worth every single second
Went to see Monet exhibit. Incredible collection of 100 paintings. Very busy and the museum was unable to handle the crowd. Long line to get in (40+) minutes. 30 minutes to check a coat. Line to buy a water.
Needed to be patient to see the paintings.
Exhibit great. Operation if event poor.
Nice place for various exhibitions. Especially worth while rain in Vienna.
Expected more, the exposure is not so big. This is not the Louvre or the British Museum. It is worth going to the impressionists.
Nice Claude Monet exhibition was in the great Albertina. We were standing in a long que before get into the museum. The museum's staff was helpful and polite.
Recommended place for tourists and everyone who likes the paintings.
Fantastic really rich in works of art it is worth visiting
Well obviously the experience depends on the exhibition that is presented when you visit. I was there when there were impressionists, fauvists, suprematists,....from Monet, Cezzane, van Gogh to Picasso. There was also excellent contemporary exhibition, My generation, Jablomka Collection. What can I say, loved it, should not be missed if there is a chance of seeing it. Otherwise it is accessible, cosy gallery in a beautiful surrounding, close to the Hofburg Park if you want to take a rest after Art fix
Great museum, especially the Batliner collection great!
Beautiful and well organized gallery. There is a permanent exposition of photography, paintings and a few sculptures too. The current temporary exhibition is Raphael. Definitely worth a visit. The premises are super tidy and well organized and nicely lit. Each room has a specific atmosphere and each exposition conveys a different feeling. Toilets are nice and clean too.
Hello there! Is the Albertina closed currently? If yes, what do I do with the tickets, I already bought online?
Very interesting museum, full of remarkable modern works. Imperial-era apartments are also fascinating. While I notice an excessive taxation on the part of the entrance workers: large bags (shoulder bags) can enter but not small backpacks. And there was no uniformity of judgment between who was in the cloakroom, for which one could pass, and who was at the entrance. Fifteen minutes lost ...
Extensive and impressive collection of works of art, which from Monet, Picasso to Van Gogh really offers everything to have wonderful art enjoyment for hours. Definitely worth a visit.
Don't expect to see all that is in the promotions. You'll be disappointed like I was. Much is simply not there. When I asked where the drawings were, I was told I'd have to look on the internet for when they are being exhibited.
Wonderful collection. It's nice that they reduce the ticket price in case of limited access to the exhibits.
The state rooms are wonderful and the exhibitions are excellent. But also here the smartphone photographers are unbearable, who no longer look at paintings, but only take pictures. Please be sure to introduce a photography ban.
