I'm not an art fan but this museum is something unique

Picasso, Chagall, Magritte, Modigliani, Klimt, Kirchner and lots of other famous and talented artists' paintings are exhibited here.

Each picture deserve it's own review so I just want to note this place is definitely worth visiting if you're planning to visit Vienna!

Small but very interesting gallery of modern art. The collections are well laid out with each room covering a different movement. I particularly enjoyed the excellent Picasso collection and the Neue Sachlichkeit room, and throughout the museum I discovered works I new nothing about. When I visited the special exhibition was of Brueghel's drawings, which was fascinating. I'm used to British museums which are largely free of charge, so the 12.90 entry fee seemed expensive.

The Albertina was erected on one of the last remaining sections of the fortifications of Vienna, the Augustinian Bastion. Originally, the Hofbauamt (Court Construction Office), which had been built in the second half of the 17th century, stood in that location. In 1744 it was refurbished by the director of the Hofbauamt, Emanuel Teles Count Silva-Tarouca, to become his palace

Was with my two grandchildren 13 and 16 from northern Germany on the day of Alber & Tina in the Albertina. On the terrace an event took place ... many young people drank a bit, there was music ... everything was very happy. We were surprised,
the exhibition from Monet to Picasso was free this evening and we were fortunate enough to take part in a guided tour ... this gave us excerpts from each art epoch and the different techniques.
Thanks, we have learned a lot!

Among all the museums in Vienna - Albertino is his artistic gem. Located in the old part of the city, right behind the opera, the museum s collection managed to put together in a single harmonious ensemble the work of both local artists and world-famous artists over the past 200-300 years. It will be especially interesting for visitors from our part of the world to see a selection of paintings by Russian post impressionists / modernists Malevich, Chagall, Goncharov, etc. everything is insanely comfortable and visitor oriented. Admission for adults is 12.5 euros, for older people is free.

Museum that hosts several exhibitions simultaneously .... beautiful structure perfectly cured .... up to 19 years is free and various initiatives for students and pensioners .... organization that touches perfection

The organization of the entrance is unsatisfactory. Despite the impressive exhibits, there is no enjoyment if a much too high number of visitors is let in unchecked. Time slot would be desirable.

You can see the real rooms on the first floor, on the second there is a wonderful exhibition of paintings and sculptures of great artists not to be missed. The building itself is already striking at the entrance, as can be seen from the photo I have attached. Truly a wonderful experience, I will return.

It was a better place than I thought. It is better to go here if you only need to go to one museum in Vienna, such as exhibition lines, variety of exhibitions (Austria Palace interior, artwork display). You haven't seen the movie, but you're not sunrise? He said that he also filmed When I visited, it was on display in Picasso's work.

Absolutely worth seeing. Suitable for wheelchair users !!!!
For everyone who is enthusiastic about art. It is a must. In any case, you should plan half a day for it. It is very well organized. There are lockers and toilets on each floor.
