The Albertina - well-known national and international art in a dreamlike ambience - time-honored castle and contemporary museum in the heart of the city in a prominent neighborhood.
Anyone interested in art (whether past or contemporary) in changing exhibitions can not miss the Albertina.
On art, you will also be presented the state rooms that take the glory of bygone days into the present.

The Keith Haring exhibition is an absolute must for anyone who loves him.

Great museum. The batliner collection is a must, all the pieces were stunning. Also the modern section was v good. Not a fan of the photography, however.

The historic building has been lovingly designed and restored down to the last detail.
In the exhibitions you will find brief information about the pictures and often an introduction to the era or the topic. Very appropriate in scope. For more information there is a wide range in the museum shop.
I will gladly come again :)

Absolutely fascinating exhibition of Monet. Highly recommended.

Albertina never disappoints. It takes a long time. If you are thinking about eating in a restaurant, make a reservation in time, otherwise you will spend an hour in the queue.

Don't miss to visit large Claude Monet's exhibition until January 2019.

Very interesting exposition especially with audio guide.

It was pretty from the outside and main entrance. I didn't get to see inside since it was costly.

Excellent museum. One of the best in Vienna. Large rooms giving all the art works the best space and lighting they need. Beautiful works from Chagall, Klee, Picasso, etc. Buy the tickets online and avoid the waiting lines! Drawing from Durer : rooms were too crowded

If you visit Vienna you should also go to the Albertina. Always beautiful exhibitions, very nice restaurant / coffee. Disabled or wheelchair-friendly, wheelchair can be borrowed easily. Jackets, bags etc can be locked in lockers with 1 Euro use. Beautiful museum shop.

Very nice art museum. For a low admission price you can look at the current exhibition in a relaxed atmosphere. I recommend to visit the museum in the morning.

I have been to countless art museums all over the Americas and Europe and this is without a doubt one of the best in the world. Where else can you see works from Monet, Picasso, Munch and so many more all in former palace. No matter what this is a place that you should visit when you come to Vienna

As always, a great curated exhibition (The Hahnloser Collection), but I have the feeling to pay more every time I visit (2-3x a year).

The museum is really impressive. The paintings, the palace itself are good reasons to have a look. Art amateur are welcomed.

It is one of the world's most important cultural institutions. Every year fine art exhibitions (including the famous Claude Monte) are uniquely the world's top. It is definitely worth watching the program of events.

Your visit to Vienna will not be complete without visiting this Museum. Besides the collection of Fine Arts, mostly paintings dating back from many centuries ago till today, the inside of the building is worth to visit for itself. Even as a holler of a yearly pass, you will always find something new to discover on your next visit. Before you leave Albertina, you may want to take a look at the Museum shop. It's selection of books and posters is an excellent alternative for quality souvenirs to bring home for yourself and your friends.
