Alberta Co-op Taxi Review

i called these guys twice to pick up my little sister from the bus station and was refused.

I called yellow taxi once and it was taken care of immediately.

Enough said.

Driver of car 108 was great! Person who answered the phone was very courteous. Better than yellow and barrel!

When it comes to this business, these cab drivers run the show. That's why their so rude and arrogant. The dispatchers work for the cab driver's, that is why no one can ever get a hold of a "Manager" or "Supervisor". These people are always supposedly in a "meeting", "Break" or not there at all. Now that they take Debit, THEY HATE IT. Apparently the company takes 15% of sales when a debit/credit card are used. If you've noticed that they get all pissy when you use debit, that is why. Next time you take a cab. USE DEBIT. This is clearly business, cab rides are expensive. So why should we accommodate them? If you're wondering why I know all of this information, a rare nice cab driver who loved his job informed me, and I feel that all you regular customers should know this.

Worst taxi service I have ever seen, I myself have only taken a Taxi afew times in this city but they have all been a nightmare. If its not a driver who is rude its a driver that drives swerving in and out of lanes without using their signals.

Aswell I work Security for a hotel and sometimes have to help people out to a Taxi, so I was helping a man who had a stroke afew weeks before so he was physically unstable and he was intoxicated, we called for a Co-op taxi before hand and I was informed the vehicle was there so we took about 2min to get out of the building and I was assisting him to the car and we where about 15 meters from the Taxi and the driver decided to drive off.

Aswell as tonight we had people who had a wheelchair so they called for a Taxi that was able to take someone who is in a wheelchair and the dispatch said that it would he 40min for them to arrive. 10min later the Taxi shows up and asks us "where is the people?" we told him we will inform them that the Taxi has arrived so he goes outside looking like a impatient 10 year old. The people where taking a few min because they gotta get the person in the wheelchair and get down the busy elevator. So by 7min later the Taxi put up his wheelchair ramp and was about to leave and I told him the people where on their way down and that they are disabled and to please give them some time as they where caught off guard by how fast it arrived. He said he does not care and that dispatch is something different. I asked what that even means and he said that he is way to busy to wait for customers. They are completely rude and money hungry. I would never recommend Co-op taxi to anyone as I hear and see many nightmares.
