I heard quick response to kidney transplant patients

Came here to Einstein at 10am to have my sick elderly mother checked out. No one could give me any answers after sitting here at total of 8 hours. This is why you go to abington hospital. We are sitting here waiting. here and still no answers plus they loss my moms urine sample and had to do it twice.

The worst hospital I ve ever seen. Waited 40 minutes and still had a long way to wait. Dirty and smelly place.

I was only in the hospital for one night in September 2013, but I had an excellent experience there. The staff in general was very supportive and kind, but the nurses who helped me through the night were the "cream of the crop." I highly recommend Albert Einstein Medical Center for anyone who has to undergo surgery and after care. Thank you all!

How dare they not even try to SOCIAL DISTANCE IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM!!!! Covid is still very much around! Is it because this is a urban hospital? Nobody cares? I couldn t believe how packed it was in there! Disgusting.

Unfortunately, I had to mark one star but this hospital doesn t even deserve a star after what happened to my son last night. He had a horrible and very traumatic experience on Tower 7 at the Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. In fact, during his hospital stay, two MH technicians (Darryle and Gerald) physically and emotionally abuse my son. Do they really think I m going to let them get away With choking and throwing my son around his room because there are no cameras inside the room? This incident needs to be told as well as investigated. I m posting this comment because these guys really need to be exposed and fired along with their supervisor, Tim Daily for covering up for hood rat employees. Gerald and Darryle, trust and believe, this incident will not be swept under the rug as though it didn t happen and I m not gonna stop until you are punished for the crime you committed last night!!!

Please don't ever go here for a serious medical situation. A nasty, rude and disgusting place, filled with many scoundrels who call themselves, doctors and nurses etc etc etc. It sickens me that they get away with the things they do. Renovation is desperately in order. If you're gravely and DESPERATELY ill and need to go to Einstein hospital do pray you receive the very few angels that work here and keep this place somewhat running and alive. Shameful.

Everybody was nasty and rude. Hated my experience there. Nobody should go to hospital if you want quality care. Some of my belonging was stolen.

I went to the ER a week ago and it was the worst experience of my life. It was my first time there and my last time there. The doctor never came in the room he went off of what the residents told him. His name was Douglas L McGee I heard him speaking about me super loud which violated my HIPAA rights and patient rights. They told me that they would make sure I got enrolled to the patient portal to see my records and guess what? They never did it. His residents name was Lerman MD, Chava C Le Do, Tam. They never took blood or gave me any fluid through iv. My stomach was still killing me after I left they gave me nothing for pain at all. They assume I had something that was impossible for me to have. One thing I am not, is stupid and I'm enrolled in school to be a doctor but they are just some of the most uneducated doctors I ever met.Made me change my mind, I should go become a lawyer instead. Do not let them experiences on you. I went to Roxborough Hospital the same night and they figured out what was wrong with me. They gave me pain medication and so forth. ALBERT EINSTEIN IS ROLLING AROUND IN HIS GRAVE.... Look if you do not have to go there please try somewhere else please I have seen to many people die there. On top of I was a employee there for two weeks and figured them out and I quit. LOOOOOOKKKKKKKKKK DO NOT GO THERE YOU WILL REGRET IT....

This has been the best hospital experience in my life! Had surgery done and the pre-surgery nurses Susan and Donna were the nicest most caring nurses I ve ever experienced. Future nurses need to take notes from these ladies. Lydia is the sweetest, kindest surgical student. Keep going and good luck girl!! Thank you to my house Slytherin friend (anesthesiologist student) for stabbing me with patience and taking me to Disney world lol!! To all my post nurses: Jenn, Ana, Tonya, Judy and anybody else I m missing THANK YOU!! There s not a better well put together team of people than on the penthouse floor! Thank you Mike from endocrinology for answering all my questions and the food staff for graciously accommodating my diet. Last but definitely not least, thank you Dr. Zaki and all his wonderful staff!! And thank you to your surgical assistant (I don t think I ever caught your name) for taking my picture ;) !!

Poor reception, poor service, poor staff. Just poor everything. Avoid this.

Honestly I am not sure why this hospital only have 3 stars. I wanted to write a review because the experience I had delivering my baby boy at Einstein Labor and Delivery was AMAZING!!!! I had to get induced and was in labor for about 48 hours. All the nurses and doctors were great and polite. They were so understanding of my needs. Labor was long and hard but I really couldn t do it if I didn t have a team of great nurses and doctors. When I went up to the 3rd floor after labor they took very good care of me and my baby boy. My first baby and I am so glad I chose to Einstein Hospital. Thank you Nurse Zoe, Antoinette, Kerri, Johana, Casey , Jena, The Social Worker, Lee MD, Loh MD, Andrew, and every one else s that I did not mentioned !! I m forever grateful ..You guys are AWESOME!!!

The reason why I stopped my elderly mom from coming here was because every time I called central scheduling the answer to anything I would say was SIGH . Never a sure, I m glad to help you, thank you or you are welcome. There s always a long wait when making certain appts like specialties and certain radiology testing. And, don t even get me started with er dept. As the first patient contact, the company needs to train their receptionists and schedulers to be a little more polite. I don t want to have the sense that my mother is going to get treated badly when she arrives.

I have all my children at Eintein Medical Hospital. I love the stuff and they really care for there patience. I really recommended hospital for anyone.

New scheduling system does NOT have patients welfare at heart. Can't schedule appointments in advance at time of appointment. Must wait and call in two weeks in advance of next appointment. Good luck getting an appointment when your doctor wants to see you.

8 hours now and still waiting. My mother Inocencia Trinidad who is 83yrs old has a pacemaker, has high blood pressure and has been with diarrhea for the last 18 hours. She decided today, 2/20/2017 to be taken to the hospital and has been waiting in the ER for over 2 hours, still waiting to be seen by a doctor. She is complaining about stomach pain. What the hell is going on.

Now today February 13, 2018 my mother Inocencia Trinidad has an appointment for an ultrasound at the vascular department at 4 o'clock and they are sending her from one department to another .one building to another 1 nobody knows where the appointment is supposed to take place. This is so on call for my mother is 84 years all and she is currently taking radiation treatment at temple. My niece who has been in the hospital since 3:30 looking for the place where the ultrasound is suppose to take place has been told that if she not at 4 o'clock sharp where the ultrasound is supposed to be done my mother may not be seen today. That better Does Not happen.

At that hospital, my late husband had a kidney transplant in 1985. We went there from Puerto Rico and we didn't have to pay a single penny. Excellent hospital and excellent team. Big-hearted people. Magnificent attention in that time, I will always be grateful. Especially to Dr. Vaquero who was the surgeon. My husband died after losing his transplant in 1994.

I entered at 12 and still at 8:30 I did not leave until I put my clothes to go and if you touch the

I had 2 more baby before the last was born. My first child born in Einstein also . That time there service was good . Lot of my relatives they told me Einstein get worse service day by day. Now I see they was true . Doctors was good . But nursing service was too bad . For nursing service I never go back in Einstein again. Now more than a month I have baby I didn t get her social and birth certificate yet. I called them they never say their fault they made 100 excuses. The funny thing one of lady she told me that day 14 baby born together that s y it s delayed. She think am a idiot Nd fool. Hahahahaha . Hope the management saw my post and they figure out what s going on inside and hopefully they will fixed their problem specially nursing service and their attitude. Thnx

Bad service, you guys need to do better when somebody s in labor. How you don t know if Someone going to have C-section or natural birth . I m very disappointed with the staff.

My mom wanted to schedule an appointment for a mammogram but they wouldn't let her due to her accent and hung up the phone on her. The lady that answered the phone was very ignorant and rude. Supervisor still hasn't called my mom back after she left a message.
This is very unprofessional Shame on you Einstein for discrimination!!! Its 2018 and this is America. I will contact someone for this issue because it's wrong. I would rate zero stars if I could. I'm still in Shock that she was able to say " no, I will not schedule your appointment" and hang up the phone.

This is the worst hospital to go to if you are pregnant! They constantly gave me the wrong information , I would drive 40 minutes to get here just to have to turn back around. The ladies there are okay sometimes depending on the day. The only thing good about paley is the centering program they offer. Very nice people , wonderful lessons but when it comes down to being sick or in need they never want to help ! I wouldn t recommend this hospital to anyone. The triage /labor delivery room didn t even care to check me out they were sitting on there phones not wanting to help me just send me to the Er room so I can get outta there hands. I don t know if they treat everyone like this but from my personal experience it was been an awful one.

I had a great experience. Doctor Shuchat and the rest of the staff! Other then my neurosurgeon Dr. Cooper who saved my life thank God for him. I guess it's who and when you go.

patient information rings 100 times. then hangs up. what in the world is going on. I know someone look for a job , I know they can answer the phone. Just horrible!

The hospital as a whole needs to work on developing a happier culture

My family has had previously not-so-great experiences with Einstein before, but I can't say we've had five star experiences with any hospital yet. However, last night was the worst experience possible care and experience.

My grandmother is essentially immobile right now but needed a blood transfusion after her PA got her blood work back. Since there was no feasible way to take her, the PA instructed that we call 911 and have an ambulance take her. If it had been up to me, I wouldn't have sent her to Einstein but ofc, there wasn't a choice with these circumstances.

I understand that ERs are busy, especially now. I tried to be patient and understanding for as long as I could. But she was admitted around noon. They told her (through the translator) that once she gets her transfusion, she can be discharged and go home.

She didn't get her transfusion until around 8pm. I had to call the ER to get someone to bring her water at 6pm, after my grandmother told me she hasn't been given or even offered anything to drink or eat.

You left her without even water for 6 hours. Seriously? I was told the doctor might not want her to eat until after the transfusion. Okay, but why was that never communicated to her? You guys used a translator earlier. You had my number. You could have easily included that info, IF that was the case.

She clicked the call button multiple times throughout the day because she needed water and to have her diaper changed. Nobody came unless I either called or she started yelling in an attempt to get attention. Absolutely dehumanizing.

When she tried to let someone know she had to urinate, they didn't even replace her diaper with a new one. Nor did they, at any point, offer her a blanket until I, again, called and complained.

I was told she would be transported back home and the pick up would be around 11pm. I found at at midnight that she still hadn't left (this is when she called me begging to talk to them about her diaper). I called and asked what happened with the transport as it was already an hour late. The person told me that sometimes they run late and it's out of their control. I understand that some things are out of their control but were you planning on never informing the patient or the patient's family?

My grandmother got home at 2 in the damn morning. She was left alone for hours with nobody checking in on her.

Is this how you would have treated her if I had been physically present with her? Is this how you treat your patients, especially elderly patients who can't move or speak and advocate for themselves?

The lack of negligent care last night was absolutely unacceptable and I am disgusted with this hospital.

Simply this is the worse experience in regards to admitting a sick parent into the ED. Security is strictly enforcing the no visitors rules in the ED waiting area,, when I check on her outside the building, Security return back to their jovial conversations with fellow colleagues with their masks appearing below their noses.

When asked to check on a status after a few hours, no one calls, or check in on your parent s condition, while your phone battery is running low with no place to charge while waiting for a clinical response.

So, I type this review while sitting in my car charging my phone battery and awaiting any info regarding her condition If this is what you re expecting, try this place next rime..

Healthcare in America is a blessing regardless of how fancy it is. This facility is older but certainly updated and has many fabulous workers from Administrative staff to the Professionals.

The ambulance was called after I vomited blood twice and had a sever asthma attack. The muscles in my hands legs and feet were cramping and the EMT continuously pulled me after I told them they were hurting me. I got to the hospital and the EMT decided to make smart remarks, they had me in the waiting room for 2 hours. I couldn t breathe and kept begging them to please help. The male nurse that took my vitals couldn t get me help because other people come in here sick . I literally could ve died and got no real explanation, they just diagnosed me with an upper respiratory infection.

Hoping the officers shot today turn out ok!!!!! Stay strong philly

I was admitted there on several occasions and every time was pleasant, I did have some waiting to do but guess what we are patients and that's what we have to do, also we must remember we are not the only people (person) there, they are busy people and they cater to a whole lot of people in the emergency room.

They are highly professional in my opinion and I thank them for being there when I needed them most.

The response time in crisis of needing a doctor in the hospital is HORRIBLE. Nurses have paged doctors twice in crisis when they need help and it's taken doctors that are on call 15-20 minutes to respond. This is not good when needing care.

Janice from environmental services is a amazing woman... she is absolutely a asset.. her poise and her sense of humor brought smiles to my face in a time of need.....Thank you Mrs. JANICE.. HOPE YOUR COWBOYS WIN....

EVERYONE was so friendly and helpful!!!! It was a pleasure speaking to every single staff member there. They were very thorough and explained everything to me to make me feel more comfortable. They verified my information multiple times to make sure I was the correct person getting the correct procedure done. I was very happy with my visit here and would highly recommend them!

If I could give this 0 stars I would. I understand people come before you and some situations are more serious than others. I ve been in the waiting room for 2hrs and haven t been called up yet. People who came AFTER me with more serious problems have gone back before me. I have shoulder blade pain and what feels like torn tissue. All I want is to be diagnosed and be on my way. I don t need to take up a bed. They could literally wrap my ankle in a bandage. See what s wrong with my shoulder and let me leave. I ve been here and heard people been here for 5hrs. The staff is nice but the time and management is ridiculous. I ve NEVER been to Einstein and it was literally because everyone said not to. Giving my ankle it s what is closer to me. Even as I type this via phone there s a woman near the desk in a emergency wheel chair provided by the hospital hunched over in intense pain and no one is paying this woman any mind because her name hasn t been called. I can t imagine if someone came in here blood gushing out of their body... would they have to wait? I finally get to the back after 3hrs of waiting and there s a woman beside me crying in pain saying she can t walk. She can t stand and all they can give her is pain medicine and a Caine... I can hear the staff on the other side of the curtain complaining about finding a patient a wheel chair and taking them upstairs as if it s a hassle...

Once again, worst place ever. I'm surprised anyone gets out of here alive. My friend just went through surgery and they were supposed to give him his prescriptions when he left. Now it is 6:30 at night and they're saying that they're not giving the prescriptions because they don't quite feel comfortable and what him to make appointment at his doctors and travel. Just out of surgery right away. What a horrible place

Hands down the best hospital I have been to . Staff were super nice .Had my baby here . Everyone from the security to the doctors were friendly and nice . They take their time to explain things to you and treat u with respect. Even cleaners were very hospitable and friendly and I would 100% recommend Einstein to anyone and everyone . Call center sucks, awaiting an answer for 5 mins., than an additional 5 once transferred

I had an appointment with Dr. Woozley on October 12th 2020 at 11:20AM, I arrived at 10:50AM. But, after waiting for more than one hour, in the waiting room and not being attended to, I decided to complain, cancel my appointment and walked out. I am highly disturbed in the manner that I was dealt with and the method in dealing with an ailing person.

I was dying and brought here in an emergency situation. Doctors fought hard to get me a liver transplant as I would not have lived long. It has been 4 wonderful years, and to know I will be healthy enough to see the age of 40 means the world. The surgeons are amazing and saved my life!

The hospital itself is really nice overall along with that there's mini stores and a cafe for anyone who's hungry or anything also this hospital has it's own parking and ER section with even more parking all I'm saying is it's easy to get lost in this hospital

5 months ago, I rated this Hospital 0 stars because I was upset about the kind of treatment that I received but after I kept following with them, they shown me change and improvement specially in their works and dedications, my son was born there and I appreciated the love and services that I received, I am very thankful for the love that my new born son received, I appreciated all the accurate and professional paper works, good job Team. Salute to the Security Guards I had a tough times with them in the past but with the love of the Hospital, Hats off.

Idk what y'all talking about but I had a great experience. They were so dedicated that they would not let me leave until I was better .I loved it and they had some of the most intelligent .caring staff .greatest hospital in Philly!

So my brother and beautiful sister just delivered my amazing nephew at this place and having 3 kids of my own I know how things should go by now. To say the least this place messed up Big time. My sister in law almost died cause she needed a blood transfusion way before they gave it to her. The injected my nephew with the wrong medicine, meant for another child. Then told the parents "Oh we only gave him a few drops, don't worry." what nurse only administers a few drops? Cmon people!

Then they force my sister in law to take care of her child on the 1st night after just having her insides moved around to get a baby out 10hrs prior. Not telling anyone they were going to do this. They waited till after we all left for the night so none of her family could come back to help.

If you ever come here to get your child delivered hire your own doctor! These doctors tend to drink on the job!

The staff was very friendly when they know they are upsetting you. I couldn't have 5 minutes to say goodbye to family. They called security bc I asked for 5 minutes. Very politely. Very very politely. Sometimes you wait 12 hours sometimes they'll force you against your will if you say the wrong thing to the er nurse. So be careful here and say goodbye if there's no wait.

I had a mesh put in jun/5/2020 at Einstein hospital in Philadelphia I was sitting down with 104 F I went to the dr. And told him he fussed at me told me it was nothing. So i finally went to er to different hospital and an abscess had bust inside me from the way i healed up. Then i had emergency surgery bc i was septic. The dr had to go and dig all the infection out. Then after all that i had to be packed 2 times a day with a solution called Dankin solution. In which is a bleach product. Very painful. now im in so much pain. To where im bed ridding from the pain.Almost 15 days at the hospital
By the way no COVID 19 tests before the surgery

I have never had a bad experience with Einstein on Old York Road. The folks are polite & I am always in and out without unreasonable delays. I just don't understand why parking went up and the fact you have to pay. They need a parking lot like Elkins Park, where I might be going more often. Or, give discount to "patients with appointments, especially regulars like me... ijs [Give you something to think about when you all are talking "community"].

I came to the emergency at 2:30 in the morning and It is now 4:00 am and I am still sitting in the emergency room .

They gave extremely caring care to my Husband, post op and after care throughout his stay

Worst experience we ever have. My 11 weeks pregnant wife started having sharp pain in the morning of Wednesday June 15th, so we called her OBGYN office at Einstein medical center at about 9:17AM to make an appointment. The lady who answered the phone took all information and told us the OBGYN office will call us to make the appointment. We waited and waited and there was no call from the doctor s office. Around 6:30 PM the pain becomes severe, we called the hospital again. Same thing we were told someone will call us back, but we never received a call back. This supposed to be an emergency situation for an 11 weeks pregnant woman who is bleeding. Around 8:45PM my wife s situation got worse so I rushed her to ER at the same Einstein medical center. We registered at the service desk and were told to have a seat. After waiting for a long time we were called by the nurse to take our information and check my wife s temperature and blood pressure the send us to waiting area again. As time is going by, my wife started having lots of blood and we were worried that she could have a hemorrhage. I went back to the nurse and told her about the situation, she said they will prepare a room and call us soon. We waited another 3hours 25 minutes and never been called. After that time we got frustrated and I went back to ask what s going on. I found that the nurse already left and another nurse said there was a room that just got ready and finally took us in. Now, it is 1:28 am Thursday morning. They run some tests and did ultra sound to inform us that my wife had an incomplete abortion. This supposed to be our second baby, which just 2 weeks earlier heard his/her heart beat and got ultra sound photos. We felt deeply sad and we were sent home at around 3:40 AM with a discharge papers that we need to follow up with her OBGYN doctor within 7 days. Yesterday around 12; 00 Pm, we called the OBGYN office at Einstein medical center for a follow up. Until the writing of this (today, Saturday, June 18th at 6:30 Pm) have not received any call back. It is sad to go through all this during this hard time but I am planning to call her old hospital on Monday for a follow up.
I will never recommend this hospital to anyone- I think this hospital doesn t care about patients and what they care about is what kind of insurance you have. I wish I went to the same hospital where my 2 years old son was born, they give extra care to their patients and they follow up every step of the process until you and your babe are safe and well. Maybe, if we went to the same hospital that we went to 2 years ago, my wife could have enough care that she may not have an abortion.

Einstein hospital has a team concept that actually works. From the transplant coordinators ,to my team of pre transplant doctors, to the surgeons, and finally to the post transplant team. What a smooth transition that started with hope and now to a successful recovery.

Thank you to all the nurses on levy 7th fl, intensive care, 6th fl and north tower 8th fl. They don't seek recognition but they deserve it. Angels , special people. I will never forget any of you.

Terrible experience here but I gave 3 stars to the centering program I attended while i were pregnant they were very helpful and understanding however the doctors here are unprofessional and terrible. Don t give birth here if you do please change your child doctors ASAP they are careless to your newborns

I was told that I'm not longer aloud to come back to the dental hospital because I missed to many appointments which I had no control over and literally wasn't my fault. They said that it didn't matter if I was "sick , dying, had to work, family emergency, etc". I literally begged to be taking in because I have a really bad tooth ache because of cavities that they know about in the records and they still told me no. If I could sue I would! I do not recommend this hospital at all!!!

The most HORRIBLE hospital I ve ever visited!
First of all unprofessional staff. I was neded to call 5 times before they finally scheduled my appointment. I was sent "one way and way back" a few times. But the worst happened with me later.

I arrived to the hospital and realized that during the phone call nobody gave me any information about the exact direction I should go when I arrive (I've never been there before and had no idea how huge the hospital is!) So, it took me 40 minutes trying to find the right building! I tried to call them, but any time I called they gave me the wrong information about the name of the building I was needed!!! I also wanted to say that there are a lot of buildings around, but only a few of them mentioned on the main entrance where you arrive. If you have never been there before and if you were not told where to go you would NEVER find the right building! It's just impossible!!!

Staff of the hospital don't know where buildings are located, how they called and don't even try to help you.

The funniest thing was that when I finally found the building I was neded, I came in and there was NO RECEPTION. Nothing! Some rude nurse that I asked, told me that there is NO procedure I was looking for and scheduled for. Then she disappeared...They just don't care! No reception, no any kind of people who would help you.

I went home after 40 MINUTES WALKING AND DRIVING AROUND. I wouldn t recommend this hospital to anyone!!!!!!! Find any other place, but NOT Einstein Hospital!!! Just horrible!

Really bad attention, i went through emergency room because i was with hight fever my body hurt and i have an infected leg. They ask for my piss after 1 hour been there, and nobody never come to take the piss so i have to walk out and tell then that my piss was ready after 1 more hour, never called me to tell me my blood test and piss. i did have an infection they never call me to tell me How was my test then i went to another hospital and they find out that inhave a really bad infection, whats is this people doing there ? Someone have to let the city know i been there for more than 7 hours.

Nurses Rule at Einstein with Dr.'s help the Dr.'s there mainly Dr.Campos SAVED MY LIFE AND KIDNEY! I loved the stay the way the treated my family,my husband was even given a room with free transportation for a nominal fee for the room. Sorry it has taken so long THANK YOU FOR MY NEW LIFE!

NO STARS IF POSSIBLE. If you need care for a real medical condition, you have to go somewhere else. My husband came there because he was have tingling in his arm and some other discomfort. They told him he needed to increase his potassium (gave him a prescription-No IV). Doctor was very rude and rushed. Before discharge, we had another question and asked to see the doctor and we could see the nurse go to the doctor and the doctor clearly rolled her eyes, said something to the nurse, and the nurse came back and gave us an excuse of why the doctor couldn't come back to see us before discharge. My husband got worse when we went home. Another went by, we called a squad and he was taken to Abington Hospital and was admitted. He was there for three days (so obviously he wasn't in good shape). We have gone to Einstein before just because it was somewhat closer to where we used to live and thought perhaps it was a bad day or the people on a certain shift, but their pattern shows it's clearly an issue with the culture at the hospital that they seriously lack professionalism and disrespect for the field that they are in. A very dangerous combination. We will never go back to this hospital again.

My two boys were born there and they are 19 and 8 years old

My nephew is in this hospital. He was bad car accident. My sister few in. My nephew is not married. He has girlfriend who lives with. My sister was told that she wouldn't to see him because he was in ICU and his girlfriend was only one able to see untill he comes out of ICU. Now out of ICU. She been told only the girlfriend is allowed to see him. And the person was very nasty to her. This hospital changes her story. My sister at hospital everyday. They should be ashamed to call them careing facility. They lucky my sister nice. I would be there with my lawyer. They don't have Hart.

I read a research that is made at the einstein center, about cannabis.i disagree....

They are the worst hospital. Nurses inject people with the wrong medicine. One woman at the desk had an impatient attitude while asking my mother for her social after she was dropped off after PASSING OUT. I also called for another department at one point and they said they would call me back, but never did. Who do you guys hire? Anybody with a high school diploma??

I ve waiting for 3 hours to be seen for not normal bleeding during a pregnancy. All 3 bathrooms in the emergency area were filthy and I needed to use to bathroom. DO NOT COME HERE!!!

First let me say this place is disgusting. It s not at all clean, my house even on its dirtiest days, is not nearly as filthy as this hospital is. Secondly the staff is not great at all. They would rather be gossiping than help out patients or ask if everything is alright. Lastly I didn t even trust my family member being there. I felt as if they weren t going to treat him nicely after I left, even though they weren t even very friendly while i was there. I hated this place. Definitely the worst hospital I ve ever visited.

Just want to say that we had an excellent experience at this hospital. My aunt who is 89, was taken by ambulance to the emergency. The doctors there were excellent. They were very thorough. She did have to wait a bit because it was busy but there was someone consistently checking on her and she was being tested and treated to resolve her issues. She was then moved up to the step down floor and it was even better there. The geriatric doctors and residence doctors extended respect, knowledge, and explanations, as well as answers to all of our questions. The whole system was quite impressive. I would definitely recommend this hospital.

Nice staff, quite attentive. And the hospital itself, well-groomed, makes an impression.

In these days of Corona virus, there was no one in the lobby to take temperatures of people entering the building. People sitting with their masks.

The Dr we went to see today the 16th of Sept said, the lobby temp check stopped last week and he did not know why.. There was No cleaning of chairs etc etc

I was really appalled by a love one that is in thd hospital and have been there since Saturday. Yesterday Tuesday 10/6/2020 I find out he wasn't bathed for 3 days!!! That us unacceptable and a serious oversight. I complain when I ask the love one of being bathed today and answer was no and it was about 2:00pm. I then spoke to management of that area and she asked the love one why you didn't say anything, I said, what! ? The love one shouldn't have to, that is routine right? Get the patient up in the morning to be bathed. Then she said,here the patients get bathed in the evening. I said, I don't care day or night a patient suppose to be bathed everyday!! All of that someond came in to bathed him in the bed such as a sponge bath. I hope this dosen't happen anymore at the hospital to anyone else. A person there is sick of whatever it is they supposed to bathed to be kept clean!

The medical secretaries Angie and Emma, phlebotomists, and medical assistant by the name of Shedly inside the Kidney and Liver Transplant suite on thr 5th floor of the Klein building are the worst! They constantly talk about patients right in front of their faces so rude. They act as if they are so nice when they check you in and when you sit down they start gossiping about various patients' personal business or their appearance in general with other employees which is a violation of H.I.P.P.A. laws. They also violate patients' H.I.P.P.A. by how loud they talk when updating patients' information. Some of them even laugh about patients' who receive medical assistance and treat them accordingly as well. It's sickening how these employees are constantly getting away with their behaviors and someone needs to take a stand against patient discrimination. Hopefully things will change but until then these a**holes are still employed by Einstein Hospital unfortunately. This sucks for all the Kidney and Liver Transplant recipients...boo!
