Great place. Seen many plays here. Romeo and Juliet last week. Driving Miss Daisy this week. Always top quality performances!
Been visiting since elementary school...I'm 43..will forever love this place!!!
The play was wonderful however seating (leg room) is very cramped.
We went to see the Play The Greatest Christmas Pageant Ever. It is awesome, the cast consist of local students from several schools and grade levels. Really enjoyed ourselves. I can hardly wait for my next visit.
Went to see The Christmas Carol in December. As usual, it was awesome! I love the lights and actors' interaction with the audience.
It was fantastic the actress and actors all did a wonderful job
They always take me to another place where my worries are left behind! Excellent Sound of Music! Thank you for sharing it with us!
My boyfriend and I love coming here to walk and just relax. It's a good place for just about anything you want to do and family friendly. Picnics, walking, just a place to go clear your head.
Attending Mary Poppins Play with Grandkids. Great Show!
Awesome experience!! Loved the original scrooge play. Will be back!
Very disappointed and the performance. This presentation was definitely not the quality or standards for the Shakespeare Festival. I hope this performance there's not set the environment for the remaining season. I think I'll stop there
Viewed A Christmas Carol last night. It was a great rendition. Great staff as well.
Great acting and stagecraft. Have been twice and will be back!
Sherlock Holmes... excellent job by all. Our first time to see a play here
Wonderful theater with professional preformers and exceptional shows.
Beautiful landscape, rotating stage, stadium seating, high quality shows!
Fantastic! Grounds are amazing and shows in the theater are phenomenal.
We saw A Christmas Carol and it was hilarious and well performed. Best show!
Spectacular Building and design. The stage play "Four Little Girls" was phenomenal. These young actors did an amazing job bringing this story to life! Bravo Shakespeare and Montgomery, Alabama
Last Sunday my husband and I went to the park to take professional pics for our 5th wedding anniversary that is coming up next month. We were invited in to a display by the museum. Not 5 mins after we were about to take pics, we were approached by a security guard that told us no professional pics allowed. My problem with this is, no signs were posted with this information. We were also told we'd have to contact someone to pay 100 to take professional pics there. I've never heard of such foolishness! So if my photographer had pulled out her cell phone, would that have been ok? She's still a professional photographer. Here I was thinking this was a public park. Next you'll be charged an admission fee to walk thru there!
Box office staff went above and beyond to help me get the exact tickets I needed for a special date! Thank you so much!
Mary Poppings was amazing, the entire experience was magical
Beautiful venue, intelligent and moving performance.
A place where you can really see famous performances ..
I prefer to see plays in the small Octagon theater where the cast is so close you feel like you are in the story. The larger theater is also good for large audiences. Regardless, the Players always seem to get you in the audience involved in some way.
I recommend planning your day around seeing a play here. Visit the museum before or after the show, and also dinner at one of the many fine restaurants in the area.
The show I saw was 4 Little Girls. The cast did an amazing job telling the story. It brought me to tears.
The Sound of Music was amazing! Such talented actors!
Well since I've been in a play here I suggest you bring a sweater or small coat due to the temperature in different rooms this mostly goes for people in a play
Love Blount Cultural Park. Lovely grounds including the Alabama Shakespeare Theatre and the Montgomery Fine Arts Museum.
First time to see a play saw a Christmas carol it was outstanding.
This is a great place to visit. The museum's curators are very interested in the work they do. When it comes to children, they adjust very quickly to the needs of each child. The activity room is always ready to lend a helping hand. However, Don't take my word for it,check it out for yourselves!
Great place for a quiet and relaxing big or walk. They even have a dog park on the South side.
Very good actors and the theater acoustics are great! Will return to see another play!
Wonderful acting and execution of the plays. Also very affordable for the experience you're getting.
It's always been a great experience for me. Very quaint and we'll organized. I've seen A-1 plays performed here.
Visually stunning grounds and architecture; with memorable, highly entertaining shows and performances.
This play was absolutely hilarious! Always enjoy seeing a comedy. Each actor did an exceptional job in their respective roles. Thank you!
I love going to this theatre. They produce amazing shows that are relevant and engaging. The talent in front and behind the curtain rivals anything you d experience on Broadway. Definitely recommend!
Lots of staff waiting to help.
Shows amazing
Professional actors speaking clearly and bringing a classic to life. Wonderful!
They have wonderful actors and choose plays and musicals we enjoy. I always walk away satisfied with the production.
A great place to take kids and the family to. You can see the regional art and see a great scenic view as well. The only problem to deal with is the birds that want to act like they are tough
Alabama Shakespeare Festival has something for everyone. From the avid theater goer to the nature lover, there are fun activities for everyone at ASF. Highlights include: the theater, art museum, outdoor structures - including a wooden bridge, and Bark Park (for the dog lovers).
Wonderful facilities for a family wedding. They were accommodating and so helpful on the day. Highly recommend. Great photo ops.
What a lovely theater! Great view of the stage and excellent sound
Absolutely love ASF. Mary Poppins is a must see show. Great performance by the entire cast. MAGICAL
Alabama Shakespeare Festival is an absolutely wonderful place to visit and to see a play. The plays are just as good, if not better than Broadway plays. If you are visiting the area or just passing through, you need to visit.
I truly enjoy the play tonight which was the "Miracle Worker". And the conversation after the play was very enlightening and, for me, educational.
This is a theater where they're literally is not a bad seat in the house. It is easy to maneuver around and the seats are comfortable and Rumi
Awesome play (5 stars). Ticket taker (2 stars) on door 3 was not a friendly person. Several people in my group spoke to her and she didn't speak back. It cost nothing to speak and be kind with a smile. We had to ask for a program and she grudgingly gave us those.
An artistic treasure for Alabama. I ve been attending shows here since the 1990s and each show keeps being high-quality. The venue is well-maintained.
The restaurant has been removed; that was a disappointment.
Went to see Annie recently with a group of coworkers and I was so impressed with the talent of the cast and the production quality! It's a little expensive but you can get discounted military tickets through ITT. Also appreciated the snack and drink bar. I plan on coming again!
had a great time with my family seeing Mary Poppins!
The actors incorapoated modern ideas into the famous "Romeo and Juliet". My experience was great and i am open to going back to see another play again.
Me and a very lovely Lady Ashely enjoyed it the show
