Fantastic hotel with lots of old-world charm. We had a wonderful stay here. Our room was large and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel was in a great location not too far from the bus and train stations for getting there with luggage, but far enough into Venice to enjoy the sights. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful old 15th century hotel with canal view if requested. This is very much a quaint, rustic and very romantic accommodation. The rooms are smallish but comfortable.Only little negitive i have with the canal facing rooms is there's a council bin collection from 0630 in the mornings.Hey who comes to Venice to stay in their rooms. The hotel offers a very nice continental breakfast consisting of cereal, fruit, selection of beautiful croissant, boiled eggs, tea and coffee. Cosy little patio to rear of the hotel for those quiet times. The staff are friendly and helpful with direction as you will get lost in the narrow, high streets. This is all in the fun of Venice. If you decide to get a water taxi from the airport the drop off is only 2 minutes from the hotel. Attractions like Doges Palace and bridge of Sighs is around a 25 minute walk. This will give you a wonderful opportunity to discover and most certainly get lost 'Lol in this beautiful historic city. Highly recommended.

The room was totally not worth the price :( smelly, like I really mean it smelly! The room has nothing to do with the photos at booking. The entire hotel needs a good proper cleaning. So sad! 2 stars only for the super friendly guy at the reception. The only good thing about this hotel is that it is located in non touristic area and just round the corner there is an amazing place for not expensive spritz Select. Had to get drunk not to notice where I will sleep tonight

It's our first time visiting Venice. The staff was amazing! So helpful and friendly! The location was great and there were restaurants and shops nearby! The room was small but that's typical for this area
It was very clean and the canal view was beautiful!! The breakfast was delicious and again the staff was great!

Hotel Al Sole is a great 3 star hotel, located very close to the main Venetian attractions. 20 minutes to walk to Rialto Bridge and around 25 minutes to St. Mark's Square.

Staff at the hotel are very helpful and breakfast was good.

The rooms are nicely appointed, but basic. The only let down is the lack of a kettle and tea and coffee facilities in the room. But otherwise we found this hotel to be perfect for a quick stay!

Great location, pretty and historical. The room looked into the courtyard. The only down side to that was if someone was smoking that came up to the rooms. Otherwise good location near restaurants that have relationships with the hotel for specials or discounts. Not too far from the train station or water taxis (3 or 4 bridges).
