Our year old Mach 10 heat pump went out and have been trying for months to get it fixed under warranty. Have had it diagnosed twice and been told we need new unit but repairmen can't get parts. Customer service denies any issues and tells us we are "misinformed" and that we need to stay in one place to get it replaced under warranty or use a national dealer like camping world who won't work on it unless we purchased it there.
Customer service reps are arrogant and rude and like to talk but not listen or help. We are just going to purchase another brand out of pocket and will tell this story to any fellow campers who will listen on our full time travels....

Terrible product and support. my AC does not work and they have no interest in supporting their product. So, as the customer, I'll have to spend the better part of the day taking this POS to a dealer and hope for the best and that it can even be repaired. This company makes the world a worse place.

This review is specifically about Suburban RV Parts. I have a trailer with a Suburban outside 2 burner stove. Since I've had the trailer (2 years in November) I've been told that it's in working order by the RV site I bought it from while it was covered by their one year warranty, but I've never been able to get it lit. I discovered via the booklet for the stove that there is a 2 year warranty on the stove. I contacted someone (at this time I can't remember if it was at Suburban or Airexcel) after an email on Suburban's site was not responded to. They gave me a RV repair place locally to where I live in Northern California. I made initial contact with them on May 5th. I was informed by them that it was in fact under warranty and Suburban was shipping the part on 5/13 or 5/14. On 5/26 (14 days after it was supposed to be shipped) I sent a text to the local RV repair company asking if there was any word. I did not get a reply and on Saturday 5/30 I phoned and left a cancellation message that I was tired of waiting and I was going to Plan B. I ordered the part on Saturday 5/30, received it on Sunday 5/31 and installed it myself onthe morning of 6/2. That's less than 4 days. I finally got a response from the RV repair place that the part arrived on Friday 5/29 and he scheduled me (without asking if it was OK) to install the part on 6/2 at 10:00am. I told him to check his voicemail because I cancelled. He said he was out of town from Wednesday 5/27 until Monday 6/1. If I ran my own business, I would think I would have my phone with me for texts and voicemails. I then sent Suburban another email with a request to call me so I could discuss their warranty repair companies and have never received a response.
Basically I'd say RV warranties are worthless.
What a way to run businesses.

My Maxxair fan stopped working and rather than buying a new fan and going through all the mess of removing the old and re-sealing the new one I thought I'd call the manufacturer (Airxcel) to get a replacement motor.
1. The process of getting ahold of someone was horrible.
2. The person who finally came on the line was rude and unprofessional.
3. The cost for the simple electric motor was $110 plus tax and shipping. I can get a new fan off Amazon and remove the motor for that.

The Maxxair fan worked well, when it's working, but there's no excuse for Airxcel's horrible customer support. I hope this helps them.

The Maxxfan is awesome on paper. It works great with a STEADY 12V that you will never obtain in a vehicle/rv (what is was designed for). Absolutely no way to reach support after 3 attempts. Later found out on the internet forums i needed a step down voltage regulator. Cmon this fan was 400$ 50% more then the competition... Should the circuit board be able to work in a vehicle/rv out of the box ??? Anyways, the product is nice but is a big NO NO for the stated reasons.

2017 Tiffin Allegro Bus - well this will be a lengthy post. Squirrel cage issues started in July. To date I have replaced ten squirrel cages and three blower motors on our three Colman MACH 8 series air conditioners. Documented each damaged squirrel cage by picture, date and time and it seems to never end. I have also checked every nut and bolt, nothing loose but continueing to see cracked squirrel cages. The word "frustration" is an understatement as it is clear the entire design of the squirrel cage is substandard. I have called AIRXCELL multiple times without a single response but I continue to work with Tiffin on the issue. I also had a lengthy discussion with Grainger on an aluminum squirrel cage and the closest one they make does not fit. I am considering having a one piece squirrel cage designed and made from aluminum to hopefully solve the entire issue. Also, considering an alternate air conditioner for my bus but that is a work in progress. I continue to see post after post on the same issue and seems like the dog is continuing to chase its tail and everything is a band-aid fix. To make matters worse, we have to turn the air conditioners off any time we leave the bus to ensure no additional catastrophic failure. Curious to know if anyone has been successful in ending the dreaded squirrel cage issue on their motorhome.

I purchased a Coleman-Mach 3 air conditioner less than a year ago that came from this company and it never worked right. When I tried to get help, they told me I had to find an approved service technician in order to get parts/unit replaced. They do not reimburse you for service. Since it never worked right in the first place, I wasn t too excited about paying for a service call to prove it wasn t working right so they could replace parts of a unit I was never happy with. Let s just say I wasted 800$ on a very bad air conditioner. They do not let you return something you are unhappy with. You are stuck eating the bill and going on a rat race of trying to fix something that won t cool a small van. Suggestion... run away! Go elsewhere!!! Beware!!!!

Went for a 10 am appointment today to get our air conditioner fan blade changed out from the original 4 blade fan to the improved 7 blade fan (Mach 10 NDQ). All employees we met were very nice and personable. Work was promptly completed and they answeres all our questions. Highly recommended.
