Lovely place, everything was great except that its lacking of english sign board around the Studio. Love the Harry Potter place the most!

This is definitely one of the best Universal Studio, the forbidden journey of the Harry Potter Park is the best ride and try to go there as early as possible as the queue builds up after some time. The waiting time for rides are usually very long especially during the weekends and holidays. The popcorn boxes are great. The Harry Potter souvenirs here are really good too.

Place looks amazing, I had great time just walking around taking photos and buying souvenirs, there are however few things that totaly broke the experience and I thought I'll share that with you, because after all this place costs quite a bit of $:
1. Expect huge amount of people everywhere, and to pay a lot for everything.
2. I am a big person 1.9m tall, ended up I couldn't take part in Harry Potter ride because I didn't fit the special chair.
3. Terrible organisation, express passed where sold out by the time we got there (10.00am), we were told to go to central Park to a ticketing machine. While looking for it we asked random staff person where it is, just to learn it's not needed and we can entry Harry Potter town and queues for attractions right away.
4. After 10minutes in a queue we read sign it's express queue, why wasn't it shown earlier?
5. After 10minites in the right queue I learned to be to big
6. My fiance went anyway, told me that after an hour in the queue there were medical warnings saying that people suffering from back pain, high blood pressure, hearth diseases or similar should not enter the ride
7. Random rides can be closed, river world was one of my ToDo list, unfortunately was closed.
8. Imagine buying express pass and learn your attraction is closed, you're too big or don't qualify for medical reasons after? Bet you'd be pissed.

Wow! What an amazing day! I think i have chosen a quite good day. There could be way more people!
I have been there alone. That's why i always could go for the single rider track. Wich was most of the time way quicker than the normal way.
Especially the harry potter forbitten journey. Somewhen in the afternoon the normal line was about 70min long. But in the single rider line i was in, in about 5-7 min haha
The flying Dinosaur is the most intense roller coaster in this park!

This is a large park when kids and adults can playing anythiiing . So many people here from Japanese people or foreigner from grandpa grandma till grandson here lol... Very nice place

Your time will spent mostly for queue for your dream rides unless you have the fastpass.

They over sell tickets and undersell "express passes". They only have two real rollercoasters and they are both under equipped with only one "train" making the lines balloon. On top of that, they have single person lines but let any number of people use them defeating the point.

Universal studios Japan ( ) was the first Theme park under the Universal Studios brand to be built in Asia.
It is the most visited amusement park in Japan after Tokyo Disney Resort.

Passes include unlimited rides and can be bought at the park gates, JR ticket counters, travel agencies and through
Voyagin (E-tickets).
Definitely everyone will be enjoy a lot in this place..

The Harry Potter ride is awesome and with the wait. Other rides were OK but not worth the wait time. Cool place though

Very nice place during fall and spring. Rides are for older people but are still very unique and amazing

Some rides are getting old... maybe it's time to revamp from terminator 2. But family still had fun and a great day out.

I love it but the express pass not good as USA Parks

Jurassic ride and spider ride were awesome. The wait time was more but worth the wait. Huge park.

It was a enjoyable experience in USJ ...able to tour the whole USJ in just one day. Less queue and great extreme rides especially taking photos

Harry Potter World is great. The fun is watching the locals dressed up in costumes. You will feel like a child again.

It's a fantasy world..... Go and enjoy the world...

Simply Wow.. Beautifully arranged spots and shops and restaurants.. Hollywood-style street.. Amazing rides.. Must visit! Dont miss the ride when u walk into the world of Harry potter

The rides are amazing esp harry potter and jaws, i had a great time. But for you who enjoy adrenaline ride, singapore universal studio is better for me

Many people as usual, but visiting during winter makes it even colder and tiring. Bring medicine, so if dizzy after the rides like i did, can take the pills. Ready with warm gears, as u will queue long and freeze to death.hahaha.

One of the best places to visit.. must go whenever visiting japan.. rides are more adventurous compared to Disneyland... Best ones were Harry Potter, flying dinosaurs, Minions, Hollywood roller coaster (homongous).. and many more.. seems one day is not enough to cover the major ones.. try scheduling weekday for visit to save from long queues.

Great roller coasters and harry potter themed area. Jurassic area is also great esp the water rides in summer

I would love to give this a 5 star rating as I really loved the park itself, I enjoyed the rides some were pretty unexpected in good way and I loved the theming, however it is just so busy you cant do anything. I will blame the new Harry Potter world for that (we went in a weekday and not a holiday) you need a pass you mm must obtain from a machine to be able to enter the world at a specific time once in there you will line up for everything nearl u an hour wait just to go into the shops 3.5hr wait for the main ride (lucky had already done it in Orlando) this is where the skip the line pass is very valuble we were late getting in so they were all gone for the day so arrive really early to aquire and your day ill be great make sure to get the most expensive one. lots of places to eat at and the food wasnt too bad, if you miss out on the passes check the wait time board and try and find a lul in the wait times and utilize the single rider lines (this is the only park where iv seen them utilized so much sometimss waits posted were longer than normal line but we found they moved alot faster than specified)

Lots and lots of people, get prepared to line up for ages 120-180 mins for popular rides.

A little pricey but overall a fun way to spend the day

Harry Potter's part is excellent, the rest is mediocre. Harry Potter compensates.

Most expensive but most worth it place to visit while in Japan! Once you enter, the worlds you will experience will leave you speechless! Get a fast pass (absolute must) and go to Harry Potter World! We spent the entire day there and still had things we wanted ti see and do! Stay till late and get quick turn over on rides too!

Holy moly , buy an express pass or your spend your entire time queuing for 3 rides. The final fantasy ride was 180-220minutes . Best ride was probably the Harry potter ride or the flying dinosaur, and I'm an avid final fantasy fan . Sailor moon ride is worth the wait if you're a fan - nothing beats a good 4D

Amazing place to go for all ages. Very fun rides and express is a little of a wait but considering the crowd it was fair. Rides were so much fun and really recommend if you love the characters! Only bad thing is the food, the popcorn is pretty tasty with interesting holders to store it in but was adorable. The other foods weren't the best and were plain buy it wasn't the worst ever. We didnt expect it to be the best food ever and it wasn't, but i guess it isn't the big reason why people decide to go here but just keep it in mind if you plan on going.

Soooooo much fun! Be prepared! Definitely get in early to avoid lines and missing out on rides! Buying a fast pass is essential to making the day run smoothly! Heaps of photo opportunities and shows to watch. Harry Potter world is jaw droppingly amazing!!!!!!

Fun place to go for kids n adult. For people tht like rollercoaster like me n who dont like my husband

I love this place. Went early at 745am on a Friday but there were a lot of people who were early as well. Had to wait 2-3hrs for popular rides like Harry Potter, Flying Dinosaur and Hollywood backdrop. Should consider taking singles queue or buying priority tickets if you hate queueing.

We had a very great experience and so much fun. Hopefully they can improve the waiting time for non-express pass.

I'm a bit of a Harry Potter nerd so that was a major drawcard for me! The park itself is huge and there's a lot to see but it's so busy - it's almost not worth going unless you have an express pass. We got there at open (8.30am) and were waiting 2hours to get on rides. Some were upwards of 3 and a half hours and apparently that's a good day. TLDR: Get an express pass and get there early!

I think I would have liked it a lot more if I had better understanding of the language. All the shows are in japanese but for shows that involve rides, those were a lot more enjoyable.

Note dat lining up there is the normal. My suggestion is to prebuy the tickets either online or Lawson/etc. We waiting a LONG time at the gate.. it was very boring and hot. The tickets were also really expensive (ard 15k yen/ person for entry and 4 uses of express ticket).

But if you do plan on buying at the gate. Then u might want to consider to chill at the universal city walk they have a few stuff there and it looked really nice.

The food inside were also quite expensive. If u plan to stay till the night bring a hat cause it'll get windy. And if u are a Harry Potter fan, u should definitely try to get an earlier ticket to go in so u get to buy a wand and make magic around that land.

visited with a 1.5 day pass. I would recommend the same to others as you can't really see the whole park within a day. definitely get the additional pass. Express pass definitely comes handy. Without the pass, popular attractions may take up to 90 minutes.

USJ is amazing, I bought the express pass 7 for flying dinosaur, it was very worth it as then I could finish all the rides in one day.

The best spot is Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey in 4K3D (very realistic)!! The most scary is [The Flying Dinosaur], I m sure that u won t know what was happened even is over lol... it s crazy!

Meanwhile, [The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man - The Ride 4K3D] is nice too.

Minion Banana Biscuit Ice-Cream is very tasty! The restaurants are western style, e.g. Pizza, chips and spaghetti, etc...Even inside of Harry Potter area, we took dinner over there just because of the environment only !

4 stars is because of [Terminator 2:3-D]; the arrangement is too messy even we got express ticket that is no different with the normal one, waiting too long and the show is no surprise, a bit regret!

Great Park the Harry potter Part and hogwarts is so hot the ride with Dinosaurier was amazing its realy tuff we had to wait maximum 70 min at the attractions

What a great experience, this was my first time to Universal in Japan! Harry Potter was out of this world, spent half of my day in this area of the park. The food was reasonably priced and the street entertainment was bar none.

For thrill-seekers out there, make sure to ride The Flying Dinosaur. Worth the wait in line.

Always a fun time here at Universal Studios Japan. Definitely love that it s more unique here vs the one in USA. Prices for food is also reasonable for park prices.

The Harry Potter ride is amazing! Worth coming just for that. The food here is also nice. The queues are very long on a weekend so I would recommend going on a week day. Also check out the flying bird ride!!! It's super scary and fun

This is a great place to come and it's very convenient because it is right beside the train station!

The priority pass is very expensive and it's not worth the price.

Very fun. Lots of things to do throughout the day and even during the night. Whole day visit was very worth it.
