It was very good better than the Tokyo DisneyLand in the satisfaction. Because people prefer go to Tokyo DisneyLand which is makes this place not too crowded. However the quality of most rides look better in Tokyo DisneyLand
The fourth time I've been to a Universal Studio, but first time to this one in Japan.
Most rides and attractions are very nice but of course the Wizarding World of Harry Potter stands out.
I particularly like the Forbidden Journey ride, as most visitors do. What better way to experience the life in Hogwarts in just a few minutes? If you have watched the Harry Potter movies (at least 1 to 4), you would find most things you see in that little journey familiar.
Hogsmeade is impressive. Not only does it look like the set in the movies, the shops there sell a very wide variety of items ranging from uniforms of the four Hogwarts houses to all kinds of wands. No cauldrons though. If you feel thirsty after a long walk, you can find Butterbeer easily along the street or in the Three Broomsticks restaurant.
Its heaven but long queues everywhere everyday. However its a must go for themeparks lover.
A fun place to go great roller coaster rides but as normal at these places it an be expensive
Best place to be in Japan. This place has exactly same rides as we have in Singapore.
Fun experiences. Visited there on Halloween Day (Oct 31, 2014). Very crowded but great fun on special Halloween events there.
Top place to visit in Osaka especially for Harry Potter fans.

Worth the expense, definitely recommend getting the Express Pass. We went at Halloween and the zombie apocalypse show at night was incredible.
It's a great atmosphere, the staff are for the most part very nice. There were times u felt the actor staff members could have looked a little less like work but I made up for that my self. Would definitely revisit!

Best theme park ive been to. We bought a fast pass and did one ride. Flying dinosaur. Despite not doing any other rides we easily spent the day here and had a really good time. It gets very crowded but you shouldn't be surprised by that
1. Very disappointed when you see Anord Schwarzenegger and Harry Potter and Spiderman were being dubbed in Japanese. No original voice. All the FEEL has gone!
2. Food quality was so so but the price is higher than Europe?!
3. The roller coaster were very nice to try, but very short trip. (Super long waiting time).
4. Shops are boring, but good for Selfiers.
Definitely not worth it with the price that you paid. Very crowded.
Good thing is that the WC is clean and all the rides are well maintained. Good to view once for whole life.
Just go to Sky Garden and Wakayama zoo and other place in Osaka with amazing pass, you will save a lot, have more fun.
USJ is the first Universal Studio with Hello Kitty mascot.
Great place to go if you love Harry Potter or Jurassic Park, but there's not really much else of interest otherwise. Very young children may like sesame Street and minions areas but adults tend to avoid. Other than the jaws area, and a really cool Spiderman ride, there is literally nothing else I can remember being in this park because the rest of it was so boring. I'd recommend a twilight pass (half price) when they're available and they'll get you in at 3pm (trust me 6 hours is MORE than enough time). I do recommend Harry Potter World highly, the butterbeer alone makes it worth it, though the flight of the hippogriff ride is not worth waiting in line more that 30 minutes for.
If you can go at a time when they have the Night Spectacular Parade, do. Harry Potter, Jurassic Park and Transformers parade floats are all worth a look.
Had a great time with the kids. Food was actually affordable. Had a late start so was only able to get on a handful of rides.
It is a very nice place to bring your family and friends when you travel to Osaka. Rides are aplenty but you need to queue for a long time (an hour at most) just to take the rides. Prices of food and souvenirs is on the high side so better prepare to spend quite a lot especially when accompanied by children.
An absolutely and amazing theme park I ever visit in my whole life. You should visit it in a life time or regret later.

Paid 32000 YEN general admission tickets for a family of four and couldn t get on any rides as they all have 2-3 hours waiting time. The park had mostly Japanese visitors and they seem to happily queue up for a 5 minute ride even after standing in line for 3 hours. In Australia, I would have complained to the authorities and get my money back. So we spent all our time walking around, buying expensive store souvenirs and having expensive lunch there before leaving early and write off the day. If you are a foreign tourist, don t waste a precious day of your holiday and money on this park. DisneySea Tokyo was much better, you could reserve a time for the popular rides and the food was good and reasonable price.
The express pass is wildly overpriced. If you, like us, just want to see Wizarding World of Harry Potter, just buy a regular ticket and rope drop the park (turn up right on opening). Then, head directly to the area - it's open access first thing in the morning.
This is a really busy park, and the food and merchandise is also horrifically overpriced compared to Disney. If you were staying in Osaka, I'd actually recommend more a shinkansen trip to Tokyo to Disney, which is far better value.
Having said all this, the vibe of the place is quite nice - great design in all of the areas. Decorated for Christmas when we went which added to the atmosphere too.

Great amusement park with rides for every segment. Some rides were well worth the waiting time like the Hollywood dream and the flying dinasour.
Theme park obviously fun but worth the long waiting. No. The accuracy of waiting times is so bad too. 90 minute wait may only be 30 minutes putting which happened several times. Park was overcrowded and the prices of food drinks and souvenirs is extortionate. Minion ride ain t graat also if your in the back of the car you won t see anything due to people sitting in front. Spider-Man and Harry Potter were decent rides.
It was fun and exciting and the rides were amazing.
Loved Universal. went at Halloween & enjoyed the rides. Costumes were fabulous. Staff very helpful. Characters were great.

My favourite ride was Jurrasic park the ride! Lucky we went on a quieter day and besides Lupin, wait times were 20mins max! The evening light show at Hogwarts was incredible!

While it's missing the main feature of Universal Studios Hollywood: the studio tour. There is a lot to do here and there are a good number of rides that are not in Hollywood, including roller coasters.

Coming there alone when I'm solo traveling. So lucky there's single rider line in some attraction, it cut a lot of queue time. Have chance to take Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, Spiderman The Ride, Minion Maythem, Jurassic Park The Ride, and giving up at Space Fantasy. Space Fantasy The Ride is just too extreme for me, after that I have no energy to take another rides. USJ is fantastic place, but too many people there. You will feel isolated when come there alone, meanwhile everyone is like come there with family or friends. Sure I will come back there, but I won't going there alone next time.
If you don t have express pass:
1) go on Tuesday - Thursday during non peak. We went on Tuesday, early November and it was packed but not as bad. Locals were polite and fun!
2) get there as early as you can before the opening and queue up. As soon as the gate opens walk fast (no point running since you may not outrun those kids) to Harry Potter and the forbidden journey since this is the ride that will always have the longest queue. We only waited less than 15 mins! And we arrived just when the early entries ones are done and out. So in my view, no point to get early entry.
3) After that, plan and go other rides you want, on non peak it s not as bad the queues are manageable, longest i seen is around 75 mins which you can plan to come back later at night or skip.
4) you do not have to sneak in food unless it s a ramen or bento meal. Snacks are allowed and why not try the food inside, a bit exp but expected right? Good for instagram pics anyways
5) We tried almost every ride without need to rush or queue very long. Yes even the boring ones. Except for flying dinosaur which looking at it makes our heart drop already! At night, we went bak to forbidden journey 2 more times, with almost no waiting! The ride had emergency stop and we ended up staring at the spiders for 5 mins haha, can't imaging those whom are stuck somewhere else more scary. Despite going again it was still amazing!
6) it s a magical place, different compared to Disney as not the same vibe and theme so highly recommended
7) Prepared to be tired so make sure you have good shoes. There are more than enough seatings and resting places though
8) Seen lots of people with strollers so not a problem
9) It's VERY different from Singapore USJ, despite some of the rides are similar
10) Just like all of Japan, staff's service quality were amazing which makes it more enjoyable!
That being said i know a lot of my friends had a tough time when visiting during weekends. So do plan ahead!

Fun and thrilling rides especially must try space fantasy , Harry Porter's Forbidden journey; Hollywood Dream/Flying Dragon for the super thrill seekers.....if you could afford, go for the express pass to skip the sometimes 50min queue.....

Awesome if you like theme parks, but i wouldnt bother if you've been to any other Universal Studios property as its extremely similar
Despite the packed holiday crowd, my family enjoyed the place with some careful planning. We enjoyed the Harry Potter section the most and even dined there for lunch. We also enjoyed the lights and sounds show in the area just before closing. Amazing! Next time, I will make sure to purchase fast pass tickets so we can maximize the fun!

Quite a small park and crowded, some machine seems old.
Like any other USS but this has the Harry porter theme. The ride is totally worth it and it's super fun, highly recommend and must try!
We had an absolutely amazing time and managed to do all rides without express passes with basically no waiting time. We did not do the two roller coasters flying dinosaur and hollywood dream as we are not into them and they did have massive lines.
The two very simple tips are to go on a non peak day (Tues or Wed and not special event / public holiday) and use the single rider lines. Our average wait time was 5 minutes across all rides (no exaggeration!), yet the average group wait time was 50 minutes.
We went to Minion Mayhem first as there is no single rider line and walked straight onto the ride. Then evangelion single rider for 15 minute wait (due to ride breakdown and popularity). Every other ride including harry potter x 2 took 0-5 minutes with single rider line or by checking the waterworld/terminator/backdraft performance schedule. If you want the two rollercoasters, go to them straight away, or pay for express pass or wait two hours!
Overall, we had an amazing time using single rider lines on an off peak day and so will you!
I love the Harry Potter world. From the moment you go towards the zone, the ambiance is change. It feel like you're not inside universal studio, it really feel like you're going to hogwards. The detail is amazing. Definitely a place worth visiting and don't forget to buy the butterbeer
