I have been out of work for a year and a few months after being harassed, suspended then laid off for reporting the sexual assult of a nonverbal client and becoming a target, it resulted in me having to take a Family Medical Leave for work related stress. Because of P.J. and J.B. Relationship with the administration at XEVS I have felt relintinting resistance from both XEVS and District Council 47 to bring about any form of justice in this matter. I have even experienced betrayal, having my private conversations with my union rep being discussed with XEVS administrators to strategically remove from my position, while mitigating the legal recourse that follows. I have also experienced officials implying and saying that I was not well and crazy (even after several doctors have cleared me for Duty). I contacted the Union s Headquarters in DC regarding this matter, however, I have heard nothing back. I will be reaching out to them again in the coming weeks. P.s. never reprimanded or formally written up in 22 years of service, but as coincidence would have it, I am being subjected to monthly mental health evaluations as a requirement to remain employed.
