Dr. Alexander has provided amazing care since I began treatment for chronic headaches. I've suffered for years and have tried acupuncture before with mixed results. I am a 67 year old veteran. I have been in chronic pain for 46 years.
I have had two back surgeries, countless pain blocks and I have been on various pain medications most of my adult life.

What a blessing. On my second visit to William, I was in terrible pain and using my cane. After my second treatment I folded up the cane and walked to my car almost pain free. I highly recommend William for acupuncture. I am 15 weeks pregnant now after 4 years of infertility and failed IVF cycles. My last failed IVF with donor eggs was in August/September 2015. After that try failed, I immediately started acupuncture for the first time ever to get me in top form in case we tried IVF again. I wish I had started acupuncture with William before I started infertility treatment in 2012, because it worked all on its own! I had premature ovarian failure (my AMH level was 0.06) and was told I had too low ovarian reserve to even try using my own eggs. I had all kinds of other infertility hormonal problems as well. Within 2 weeks of getting acupuncture twice a week with William, I felt a huge difference in my overall health. My headaches stopped immediately, my hormones seemed to even out, my chronic pain from an old back injury got better, acne went away. We continued treating aggressively with acupuncture and 8 weeks later, we got pregnant on our own with no medical intervention, the only thing we did different is acupuncture with William. He is very easy to talk to, and listened to my needs as a patient. He gave me options for treatment and respected the choice I made on which treatment to follow, never pressuring me to do any treatment I didn't want 100%. He is a very supportive practitioner and flexible. I will continue going to him through out my pregnancy, and so far I have had a very pleasant pregnancy, no morning sickness or anything like that, thanks to acupuncture treatments to help with pregnancy symptoms. I was given this massage by my husband as a gift. I admit I waited until the coupon almost expired, but I had pulled my back and reactivated tendinitis in my right arm on a business trip last week and really needed to give it some attention.
I was able to get an appointment that fit my schedule. I was thrilled with the level of attention William gave to asking about my needs, reviewing my written medical history and discussing what could be done in the time allotted. This was one of the best massages I have ever received. William was attentive to the areas we discussed and was on cue with asking me about the level of pressure used. I started going to William in February this year. I was referred to him since I wanted to take a natural holistic approach to healing. Unbelievable! Truly unbelievable! I gave affinity acupuncture a call in hopes of getting some relief from my back. Amazed would be my response when I talk about "Facial Rejuvenation" with William. He has customized the procedures to me, to bring out the best in my facial features. I saw William last night for the first time. I had injured my neck and was having excruciating pain unable to move my head for 4 solid days. Mind you, I was also completely freaking out because I'm getting married in less than two weeks. I was on painkillers and steroids for the injury, repeating heat and ice without being able to even leave the house or drive, and wasn't seeing any improvement. I was desperate and looked up places for acupuncture when I found Affinity. I can honestly say I didn't have the highest expectations for pain relief because the pain was so bad and I've only done acupuncture once, but I was willing to try anything for relief. When I went into see William I had about a 9 to 10 on the pain scale and within a hour, I seriously left with my pain down to a 1 to 2 on the pain scale. I literally called him a warlock. William Alexander does a great job, for me he has taken me from 4 to 5 migraines a week down to 1 or 2 a month, and they are not as severe. As someone who doesn't seem to be wired normally I have been very happy with the pain relief Dr. Alexander has been able to provide. Since I have no fear of needles he is able to make it work even if it's not the most traditional of methods. As a veteran we even get along! High praise from me for Affinity acupuncture!

I have had many different treatments for my chronic lower back pain in the last 20 years. I decided to try acupuncture and I wish I had done it sooner. I was surprised how easy and painless the treatment was. William knew just where to insert the needles to alleviate my pain. I walked off the table with immediate pain relief. I met William Alexander at Affinity Acupuncture through a social media discount coupon. As an energy worker and a massage therapist, I was familiar with Chinese Medicine and meridians and how the body can be affected through removing blockages and opening the channels to allow energy to flow. My intention when I purchased the certificate was to have the one session as a tune-up. But before I could use the coupon, my father passed away. My first visit was about a month after Dad s death so William and I decided to address the grief process and calming my spirit. He worked on the Lung meridian where grief is held and the Large Intestine meridian where grief is processed. He also used some other points to help my overall wellness. I felt so much better after the initial visit that I signed up for a series of sessions to be used over the next six months.
I have found William to be very professional with a sincere desire to help his clients both emotionally and physically through his work. He carefully listens to what the patient needs and formulates the best treatment plan prior to proceeding. He provides both a private treatment room and a more affordable community room for when less privacy is needed. Have had some recurring tendinitis in my shoulders. Was unable to move my arm in certain positions. After three sessions, I am almost pain free and have much better range of motion.
