I actually meant 0 stars this has been a complete nightmare. My doctors office uses this place for drug testing. I take a medication that requires me to give UAs every visit and a few months ago my tests started to come back dirty.and now it's still happening for meth,vicodin ,clonazepam and OCs but not metabolize in my system so my doctor told me I must have eaten poppy seeds that gave me a dirty for oxy
6 months. Sounds like a trend looking at other reviews. Sounds like a way to maybe shimmy around in-network discounts. Sick of these people.
I had a test sent here and it took longer than promised. Called twice about it and no information was provided to me except the process was like doing laundry, there s no way to speed it up. Thought I was calling a science lab not a dry cleaning service.
I've only worked for this company for a few months and I love it. My management is awesome!
Corporate ripoff, this is whats wrong with health care and labratory bills in America. they charge way too much for services. I had no idea they were going to charge over $900 for a U.A., before I could be put on pain medication they had to do a pee test. Last time I paid for my own it was $60 out of pocket, this company charged my insurance $1245. for the whole test and my insurance only paid out $68.00! Corporate Greed!
I was charged $1200 for a state required drug screen! After doing some research, I discovered on average the cost was $200. The researchers stated $300 on the high end. I am bill $1200!!! This should be illegal.
I have contacted the FDIC and turned them in for over charging of services. 960.00 to read an oral swab ? No way !!!! Fraud!
Applied to 2 positions locally in the Nashville , TN area both technician jobs. I have a Masters degree from the Rollins School at Emory Univ. We studied under some of the top researchers at the CDC . I have 45 semester hrs. biology and 36 chemistry on just my undergrad degree.Mass Spec / Liquid chromatography experience of 5 years., diagnostic microbiology . I was almost immediately turned down on both positions. Most labs in the area yield the same results when I apply , although everone I have met that works there has little to no hard science in their backgrounds .
They all pay barely above minimum wage from what I ve heard ( ESC , Test America , etc. ) and all seem to process any samples regardless of condition .
I doubt the quality of their testing after seeing this first hand when working with several agencies who use their services.
I was kicked out of my pain management Dr. Because I was given a copy of a lab with the letter head from this company that I never heard of out of Tennessee and I live in Maryland. When I called the told me they hand no patient portal so that I could check it . And I know the Dr. Office I was going to used Labcorp for their testing.
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. I needed a drug test before my doctor would refill a prescription for pain medication. The test is normally performed in my doctors office for a charge of $39 which my insurance BC/BS covered most of the charge. This time my doctors office sent the test to AEGIS as they have a contract with them now in place that has been activated since my last test. AEGIS charged my insurance company $987 for the exact same test the doctors office charged $39 for . Since AEGIS is not an approved provider with my BC/BS plan the claim was denied! As an fyi this test can be bought online by ANYONE for around $20. This company is a scam and should be shut down!
Was given their number from my doctors office to make payment for a Urine drug screen.. Gave them all the information name, dr office , etc. They took my credit card and ran my payment.. Fast forward to a few weeks and i get a bill from another company regarding the same drug screen.. I have been back and forth trying to get my payment credited and get nothing but excuses and telling me i need to contact another office.. Please be cautious.. Never had record of us in system but still took payment.. Shame on you.. Based on other reviews I am not the first.. This company doesnt deserve a single star.

This companies services are an absolute RIP OFF!. I urged my Doctor's office to NEVER use AEGIS SCIENCES CORPORATION ever again. After a thorough review of the price Aegis charges as compared to. their competitors, they have agreed to use another company for their lab testing needs.
This is just a joke. For simple urine test for my follow up appointment they charged $745 to my insurance and plus they ask me to pay $80. 37. This is ridiculous. I didn't even get the result, and they billed me after 5 months.
