Went to RLCS and even though the event was great, the staff were so rude and berating, nothing was ever organized well as far as there opening went, kicked everyone out as soon as possible and yelled at you if you werent out within 5 minutes. Only stumbled across 1 nice staff member, dont remember her name but she worked the register at the main concession area between sections 8 and 9.

Possible up and coming team that is passionately supported by its fan base, sight lines within the arena are outstanding, doubtful that the ownership will invest real money in another goal scorer and a top line defender, they haven t in the past allowing prime talent to leave for greener pastures, seems that the game plan is to try to win with less, Although Newark has improved immensely in the past 30 years from an unflushed toilet to a flushed toilet, it still has light years to go as a destination, parking 40 dollars is a joke, traffic is a nightmare in and out of town, rooting for this team to become successful but it s time to built the team and scrub the town.

A good arena to watch a hockey game or concert in. The place is always clean and the views from all of the seats is good. The one big downside is the cost of arena food. Most arenas have their food and drink prices set high but Prudential Center goes above what most places charge. They say that all of their food is local, which is nice, but the prices are unbelievable. In addition to the high prices, the service is slow. I waited 25 minutes for cheese fries! My advice is to eat before you leave the house or find a restaurant in Newark, but avoid eating at the arena at all costs! The food and drinks aside, the arena itself is nice.

Super ...we had an awesome time!! We parked at the parking garage right next to the arena. It was a little expensive $25, but worth it with two kids and the cold ... afterwards they even had a heated waiting area to wait for the car.

Overall good, clean venue with helpful staff, lots of food drink and dessert options and (surprisingly for places like this) clean bathrooms (compared to most stadium-type venues. Anyone unfamiliar with Newark that thinks it's a dangerous city--that might be true, but this place is a safe part of town, and especially if you're going to a special event at the Prudential Center, you won't even feel like you're in Newark. As for parking, they have an attached parking garage with covered parking, but if you want to park there, it'll cost you around $30-40 and I'd HIGHLY recommend purchasing a parking pass in advance (which you can do right from the Prudential Center's official website--both for the parking garage AND for other affiliated parking lots in the immediate area), otherwise you might find yourself in a bind if you just try to get show up for the event and get a spot. Also, there are some cheaper lots in the area (several uncovered parking lots that range from being across to the street to a couple of blocks away, and while you might looks those lots up online and see that their hours say Mon-Fri 6am to 10pm (for example), almost all of them are open on weekends AND past 10pm for special events -- they do cater their hours to the events at the Pru, so don't be fooled by the posted hours, but definitely double check on the lots hours and pricing if it's not an official lot that's listed on the Prudential website. A great alternative way to do this is a website/app called SpotHero, which you can reserve spots through, get either digital or printed out parking passes, AND they have great customer service to answer any questions you have about the parking lot in question. But DO NOT think you will find street parking, because it WONT happen anywhere in the immediate area. Also, I'd really recommend parking in the official covered garage for the Pru, because it's attached to the Arena via a skywalk AND has attendants all throughout on every level, and therefore if the weather isn't great, or if you're still worried about safety, you never have to step foot outside (unless you get there late and have to park on the very top level, which is not covered). Also, there are premium seating sections which nicer seats if you're willing to pay the extra price, as well as the lounge section which has a built-in bar and restaurant open only to guests in that section, and the view is pretty good from those sections.

the only reason I am not giving this 5 stars with because the parking situation was absolutely horrible. It took us 20 minutes just to turn down the street where the parking garage was. The venue itself however was very nice and the staff was very helpful.

During the bag check one of the staff tried to steal my stuff. I gave them my purse open and upright and when I got it back I could immediately see my light stick for the concert was gone so I stood there and asked where's my light stick and they acted like they couldn't understand me. Then I see my iPod out on the table too and I'm like why is that out of my purse!? The staff is a complete mess and unorganized plus there weren't even any lights on in the bag check area!! Not to mention the concert was scheduled to start at 7:30 and they didn't even start letting in ga until 7:45. Advice if you're going here is keep constant watch of your stuff with them and don't trust them, also no point asking anyone there for help since they have no idea what they're doing anyway

The center itself was not clean. The floors were exreamly sticky so that when standing during the concert our shoes were sticking to the floor. Another person had to wait for his seat to be cleaned . Parking was close by but pricey. Shame of it was the concert was very good. The center needs a bump in maintanance.

I love this place! Been there couple of times to watch my favorite bands play live. Last one was Saxon and Judas Priest!! Parking is bit tough but all I do is reserve parking online if u r lucky you would get one at $20 else its $35 at Yellow parking beside the arena. There are multiple other paid parking lots available and a uber stand just few steps away!

The cafe serves anything that you would like to enjoy. Drinks and all foods are priced reasonably! I love being there..

I've been here a couple times and I've enjoyed myself for the most part. However, the last show, granted on Valentine's Day, was not handled well. The workers seemed completely overwhelmed and unable to effectively control the crowd. Luckily, I was able to foresee this happening & got there extra early but even with the small crowd, they struggled.

I won't go into the adjacent parking lot because that deserves a review ALL to itself.

During the show, 1 of the artist, Monica, was apparently running late. Right in the middle (or first third of her set), they cut her mic off. It was 1 of the rudest & unprofessional things I've seen ever. As she pleaded with them to allow her to do 1 more song, to no avail. I understand the importance of sticking to a schedule but you're only hurting the fans, not the performer. It was horrible. Aside from others fans keeping the crowd calm by performing (dancing), there's no telling what that could have turned into. Very disappointing!

Always a crowded place but they always host good events and seem to have things in order. Very strict about seating as there are people managing every section of the seating area so don t think you can slide in with your friend without a security guard kicking you out.
