Went to a Jasmine Sullivan concert here for my birthday. I was worried about our seats because we bought our tickets kind of last minute and didn't get the usual preferred seating-(middle center), we ended up with side seats buuut we soon learned that it didn't matter. Every seat in the house is perfect. The vibe is also very intimate/sultry. It was clean, airy, and they have lounge seating throughout the lobby with an open bar. Plus it's at LA Live so the area is always poppin.
Awesome venue...i had a wonderful experience at the puff and pass tour...the food was also cheap.
ViP experience is really nice. Unlimited drinks and food before the event
Had a wonderful time, the venue is amazing! No drinks in the theater though, don't go buying a ton of drinks and think your getting in, so forget it. Other than that, elegant and sophisticated, and all in all a great place to be entertained!!

Just went there to see Keith Sweat and Charlie Wilson with my best friend LaDonna
Friendly staff, excellent venue to watch boxing, drinks we're a little expensive, but overall good experience.
Really nice venue. Good view from our seats in Loge Row B.
went for a Brenton Wood concert. It was a great place but the nachos were terrible and over priced. If you ever go to a concert there my advice is to eat before you go.
Awesome experience: a special guest receiving 2 free R. Kelly concert tickets from the host radio/broadcasting station. Attended alone. God bless. Thanks.
Theater where they host the Grammys. Great downtown location
Came out to CA to attend Microsoft's Xbox Fanfest 2019. It was such an incredible experience. Everything is completely state of the art and the conference itself was a once in a lifetime experience for sure. Keanu Reeves came out and surprised the audience! Microsoft have put together an incredible experience at this theater!
Huge hall perfect for big composer. I watched Andre reiu concert here and it was amazing
Hate this venue. No one who works there seems to care about anything, the acoustics are terrible, and there's no reentry. The whole place is a brightly lit altar to consumerism, also. Very gaudy looking.
All of the seats are amazing, the sound system is great, and there is so much to do in the LA Live area!
Very nice theatre, we saw a concert at this venue. Right next to Staples center.
Great sized theatre hosting awesome performers. Saw CL and the show was stunning.
Safe and secure venue to enjoy live entertainment. A bit pricey for a whole family but great for adults that want to share a wonderful event together.
Beautiful theater and comfortable seats! Nice staff.
Waiting outside was bad organized, once you finally get in there was more help... food/snack terrible! NOT a good selection or variety just popcorn and some candy... NO where to sit in the lobby! We parents take our kids to this concerts (which are NOT CHEAP!) seats inside of theater are not comfortable, music is real loud and you as a parent step out to take a break and there is no seats in the lobby area... for the kind of money they charge for events this SHOULD IMPROVE AND BE BETTER...
Pay the extra amount to sit closer. Sitting under the veranda in the back is a poor audio experience. Great place though. Lots of fun!
The Microsoft Theater was opened in 2007, has a capacity of 7,100 seats, and is located at L.A. Live.
Came for Xbox E3 2018 and 19. Amazing both times, stunning visuals and booming audio thoughout the theatre during the Microsoft press conference.
Been here several times for different events. Few concerts, X-Games and more. Always find that is very easy to navigate the interior arwas to get to your seats where they have staff stationed at most doors and stairs directing people whete to go. The bars are always very fast to serve you and as yoy can imagine prices are higher than usual for drinks. Parking can be a little difficult and most have high rates as well.
Overall is a great venue to catch a show with an awesome sounds system
So you can't take food into the theater, but they have concession stands. Are you supposed to eat in the lobby?
Was here for Day 0 of AX a couple of years ago. Watched Aqours perform; LOVED it. Venue itself had good seats with easy entrances and exits. Great stage sound quality, too.
I attended a concert here. So of course it was crowed. This location is very accessible. There's a parking structure right across the street from the theater. Location & parking structure very well lighted .
Went to a show.... parking expensive but worth it...we were late and they parked us on the end of a row....no bays free! Venue was ok but the added floor seats need to be bigger.
The parking especially the attention of the guides and the sound very beautiful all thanks
I liked it but if we organized better it would be faster to enter the event and enjoy the surroundings a little
Very good experience, ushers were polite and helpful, cocktail bar moved at a good pace, restrooms were clean. Overall a pleasant visit
Great venue. Not too small and not Too big. You can't find a bad seat in the house
Beautiful, Clean, spacious where I sat & good service with All the people who work there.
Great 0lace to see a performance. Saw a comedy show.
Great as always, well organized. The water is too expensive.
I am disabled which requires me to stand up to alleviate pain. I would get up an walk to the very rear - but in the back of the auditorium.
I was constantly badgered to sit down by very rude employees.
We went to 4life catholic program. 10/10 would recommend
Attended a concert, it's a big venue and the acoustic was good. The balconies have a good view and private bar
There isn't really a bad seat in the house. I think the best part about this venue is its size. Big but not too big. I was here in December for a Maxwell concert and it was wonderful. Very clean and well maintained. Crowd was respectful. Parking is anywhere in LA Live so don't forget to budget $20 or so for that.
Wonderful experience I had when I saw the 2016 Emmy Awards. A gigantic theater that was quickly filled. Only the staff were not well educated, but I believe this varies from organizer to organizer.
I personally had a blast on my first ever visit there. I will definitely go back and recommend this hot spot.
The VIP Experience is awesome. Parking right across the street.
The Microsoft theatre honestly doesn t deserve any stars at all.
Advertised tickets were extremely misleading and bought the wrong ones. Got a call the day before saying I wasn t going to get anything I thought I paid for, and since it was the day before the show, I couldn t get a refund or exchange the tickets. Me and at least 100 other people did the same thing, and we all spent way more money than we needed to. The theatre didn t provide any compensation (obviously) and tried to tell us that what we got was still worth it (it wasn t). So basically 100 people were conned out of $190. So be aware of the VIP Experience tickets when buying tickets from their site, since the promoters (aka whoever puts on the show you want to go see) can offer their own VIP tickets for cheaper with thing you actually want (free merch, meet and greet, etc.)
