Fantastic! Really great hotel, room was spacious and equipped with modern amenities. Breakfast was great. We had our dog with us and the staff were all really accommodating of that. Before staying there I had the impression that this hotel was trading off it's location and history, without putting the effort in, but that is definitely not true. This will be our go-to place to stay in Berlin from now on.

Do you just have to sleep in there. Not the best hotel in the city, but charm.

perfect! One of the best places I have encountered (on the Unter den Linden, right next to the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag and the Holocaust Museum). Very prestigious and meticulous. The room is spacious and luxurious at the highest level. The food is delicious. Expensive, but worth every euro.

The rooms are stylishly furnished, as you would expect in this category. The staff is very friendly and helpful. As far as I would award 5 stars. The organization leaves a lot to be desired. So the water was suddenly cold when showering, the TV was broken at the entrance. A reminder for the spa was delivered at 2pm, although the spa date was 2 hours earlier. From the spa visit can only be advised. Instead of being able to relax, each treatment presents offers that could still be used. It's more of a sales pitch than a relaxing treatment. The treatment itself is mediocre and does not justify the price. At the end of the line you have to realize that in Berlin there are certainly better hotels in this price range.

We were from 12 to 15 in the Adlon. The service was very friendly, in the breakfast room and at the bar. We were in the Quarre to eat and very disappointed. We had to wait a long time for our food. At 19.00 we were punctually in the restaurant. The appetizer came half an hour after ordering. The main course came after three quarters of an hour, lukewarm. In addition, the staff took my night shirt plus socks in the dirty laundry. That had to be searched and found. The young lady, who informed me about the find, said then that the Adlon would clean with my consent generously the things. Impossible, that's just natural.

The hotel is known for good service and amenities and does not disappoint. The location is very nice and the food is also of good quality.

The Hotel Adlon is and remains the best hotel in Berlin. Excellent location, the highest level of service and the ambiance is breathtaking. The house is full of history and a visit is always praiseworthy.

Really, it has such a touch of decadence when you tell the taxi driver, "... to the Adlon, please!" We drive up and the porter opens the car door with a friendly smile. They lead us to the door and ask if we had a good trip. Of course, after the luggage you do not ask the guests but the taxi driver. With such banalities one obviously does not burden the "dominions". You just take care of the luggage. As usual, one asks after the arrival, Small talk, because with guests in Grand hotels, the journey is rarely tedious. After all, we do not travel by carriage as we used to. We enter the hotel and immerse ourselves in another world.

The lobby of the Adlon and the legendary Elephant Fountain

Inevitably, the blich of the guests on the legendary elephant fountain is steered. This is a gift from the Maharaja of Patiala, that was around 1930. So here he is, or better said! In the middle of the hall surrounded by a few sofas and armchairs. I'm almost disappointed a bit. I imagined the lobby a bit bigger. But maybe the first impression also deceives me.

Check-in at the Adlon

In this hotel, the check in is done in a jiffy and that's nice too. Because it is sometimes really annoying when you get submitted an unfilled registration slip. After all, one has already made all relevant information online and even deposited a credit card as collateral. In the Adlon, however, you are well prepared for the arrival of guests. Without much ado you will be escorted to the room. At the top there is the mandatory instruction regarding the light, air conditioning and heating switches. You get the mini bar and how the curtains by pressing a button and go. Here, a tip is usually well invested, because the Page will run even more often on the way. If you later need a table reservation in the restaurant or a good place in the bar, the friendly Page helps.

The room with a view

I must confess that you will be a bit slain by the built-in wardrobes in the room. Dark cabinets wherever you look! Then the question arises to me: "what are you putting in there?" So, once considered sober, I assume that the titmice guests sleep in hotel for 1-3 nights. Furthermore, I assume that most arrive with a maximum of 2-3 pieces of luggage. And who packs his bags for a short stay? So, what do you need cabinets on all walls? Luckily you left a wall free for the window and that shows and the Brandenburg Gate - as compensation for the whole built-in wardrobes!

The bathroom was great, of course, if it was a bit compressed. It had just lost a few square feet, in favor of the built-in wardrobes - too bad. Otherwise, of course, it was really great. A mixture of modern and classic bathrooms with lots of marble and the obligatory beautiful on old trimmed taps.

The breakfast at the Adlon

In retrospect, the breakfast was the highlight of the stay at the Hotel Adlon. Actually, you only eat snacks, small croissant, small tarts, small biscuits and everything is wonderful presented. You get different egg dishes and juices. There is something for every taste. You should really take some time for this breakfast and a little appetite, it would be a pity if you can not enjoy it because you have an appointment!

Adlon committed

All in all, the house saying and the employees live the same way. You are certainly proud to work in such a hotel. The staff are ultimately also the guest to allow a pleasant stay in this hotel. They are almost the ambassadors of the Adlon, because as He is quite right: "Adlon committed!" (Stay 10/2010)

The Hotel Adlon in Berlin has to be one of the world's best hotels. For a start it is situated right next to the Brandenburg Gate.
The reception area is very large with a wonderful lobby bar. All the staff were excellent in English and very helpful in answering any questions.
The rooms were very comfortable and quite.
We had one meal in the restaurant, Quarre. The food was excellent, some of the best that we have ever experienced.

Friday was a full house at Adlon. Economic forum on the ground floor, an award ceremony of FIABCI a level above, where I participated. Apparently the other floors were booked as well. However, you would assume that a hotel like Adlon would be well prepared especially on a night like that when it comes to vegetarian dishes. As a vegetarian I got served something I can't help but to call an uncharitable, flavourless plate with canned vegetables with a splash of tomato sauce that looked like someone accidentally dropped it there. The entree was similarly sad. I left the event at the 5-star hotel somewhat hungry and disappointed.

Staff was friendly and the service itself was good though.

It is a great pleasure for me to be a guest of the house every time.
I'm still very young, many of the other guests are significantly older.
Despite everything, I can express my greatest praise for the fact that the hotel caters to the needs of younger and clearly inconspicuous people.
From my perspective, I feel very comfortable there and will always come back.
The rooms are very clean and equipped with everything your heart desires.
The spa is an experience in itself and cannot be compared with anything at the moment.

We treated ourselves to a short trip to Berlin and spent the night at the Adlon. From check-in to check-out, everything went perfectly. If you book a hotel from the Kempinski chain, you can't go wrong. We loved it and would love to come back.

My late husband and I spent a glorious week at the Adlon in the spring of 2007. Everything about this hotel was gracious and inviting. In addition, the location was just perfect for long, delicious walks, for a night at the opera or any number of outings. Reading these reviews, I am so delighted to know that guests continue to find the same wonderful service, the cordial hospitality and charm a decade later. I have such magical memories of Berlin, and our time at the Adlon is a precious part of them.

The rooms, as well as the whole ambience of the hotel, starting from the atrium and the exterior, are exceptional. Everything very neat and stylish. The service also meets every demand.

The most delicious Apple Strudel in Berlin and great service

Wow! We were thrilled, even if we were allowed to stay only 5 hours.
Friday night at 22:30 our plane should go, 5 minutes before it was canceled.

All hotels in Berlin booked, except for the Adlon. You treat yourself otherwise nothing .. so just under 300 euros for a full 5 hours paid. Because at 5:30 in the morning our ICE has left for Frankfurt.

What can I say, the 300 euros were worth it. Fantastic service from A-Z! The beds, the service, the cleanliness = 1A.

We'll be back, but not only for 5 hours :-)

Already afraid to end up homeless in Berlin, thanks to the Adlon everything went well.

Traditional Berlin hotel at the Brandenburg Gate, which Anno August Jagdfeld owes his latest history. Very good quality, very good service, excellent prices. The restaurant is in the tourist stream something to mainstream degenerate, much better is the star restaurant on the first floor. There are many events in the lobby, and the 1920s are flourishing again.
