Loved our first visit to the Adelaide oval. It's a great place to watch sport, however it's a little confusing to find you way to your seats. Make sure that you walk around the stadium on the ground level as there aren't too many crossings between stands.

Fantastic venue for football. Only criticism is the pricing of food and beverages, but that is with all AFL venues. Can recommend Sit-Lo on Bank St if you want a fantastic (and quick) noodle bowl before your game.

It would.have been better without all the flashing lights and the flashing CROWS flying about for me.
But then I'm not used to all that.
The game was great. I know someone has to win. But then I felt sorry for the struggling opponents.
It was good when the opponents did get some sort if score.
The Oval is lovely.
I did end up by enjoying myself. Was a reasonable outing. I haven't been to a football game for at least five years.
Thank you for asking.

Amazing place but dont sit in the highest stand if your scared of heights we were bought tickets for Phil Collins he was fantastic but the seats were so high up and steep I had a terrible attack of fear

Amazing atmosphere at every event I've been to - proud Port Adelaide supporter - always helpful and surprisingly friendly staff who would be forgiven for being a bit short given how busy and stressful events can be. Security were actually helpful rather than simply being a barrier.

What a fantastic stadium. I did the tour. Even saw the Darren Lehman statue out the back. And had a laugh. Toured the old scoreboard. Fascinating stuff. Heaps of awesome function rooms. I also attended a 200 person function the next day and it was great.

I loved this stadium so much I've started a project (in my head at least) to build a stadium like this in Auckland. The grassy end would allow views out over Rangitoto. The stadium would be full size to allow cricket and football (yes Aussie rules) but then would have detracting seats that would come back out for rugby. It's going to be the new home for the blues and warriors. It will be called the volcano. The grassy bank will be known as the Lahar. And one stadium will be named after Richie McCaw.

Anyway - fair to say it's an inspirational stadium. I'd love to watch cricket there. Also got some great ancillary areas for tennis / drinking. Both national Sports of Australia.

Everything you can buy there is way overpriced, beer sold as a pint is not a pint whena 330ml stubbie fills the same tiny cup. FALSE ADVERTISING! Apart from that great place to watch the footy, just don't buy anything.

Great reasonably new stadium in the centre of Adelaide. Plenty of toilets available which are found throughout the oval. Food is a little pricey but its to be expected for a sports venue. There is even a roof climb to see the view of the city skyline.

Unbelievable stadium. Certainly world class however I purchased Audi tickets to see an NRL match which stated a strict dress code, most if not all guest seated in this area were dressed like bogans. Certainly not worth paying the money to sit with foul mouth people wearing flannos and beanes.
Thumbs down

Nearly $10 for a basic sandwich. Ridiculous. Staff are embarrassed at the cost. I have a hotel and can offer hot meal with Salad bar for $11 just a RORT. staff try to tell me they need to cover wages. If you charged a few dollars less you Would sell more. Greed is all it is
