Fantastic venue for the footy. Only negative is $10 beers, but I was thinking of cutting down on the booze anyway.

Loved our first visit to the Adelaide oval. It's a great place to watch sport, however it's a little confusing to find you way to your seats. Make sure that you walk around the stadium on the ground level as there aren't too many crossings between stands.
Seating is well designed for most of stadium with good views and access.
Such a well kept sporting ground! Green as green! Great atmosphere last night at the game!
First time visitor, would be better if the ushers were more knowledgeable about the seating
Superb tour with a very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide Graham
Great atmosphere with sports, recommend bringing your own food and drinks as the prices are a bit hefty
Yep good view even at the second to last seats very high
Great place to watch sport, food abd drink way too expensive.
Love the oval but need to take out a mortgage to have a few beers there.
Well the food is kinda expensive but the place is always clean, the staff is friendly and there are plenty of toilets and most of them are clean.
Still a very boutique stadium, quite beautiful and that riverbank stand canopy is huge. Roofclimb anyway of the week and well worth it
I'll make it 5 stars when the Crows win a premiership.
Absolutely fantastic stadium!!! Great place to watch sport, especially with kids.
Was great on the hill on this day. But it was overcast and the ground only half full. On a sunny day full house it may be less comfortable.
Great venue for cricket and footy, its a big yes from me
Great venue for live events, easy to get to by train.
One of the best grounds in Australia and the world. Stunning.
Fantastic venue for football. Only criticism is the pricing of food and beverages, but that is with all AFL venues. Can recommend Sit-Lo on Bank St if you want a fantastic (and quick) noodle bowl before your game.
Still remember Rahul David's double century and India's victory here
It would.have been better without all the flashing lights and the flashing CROWS flying about for me.
But then I'm not used to all that.
The game was great. I know someone has to win. But then I felt sorry for the struggling opponents.
It was good when the opponents did get some sort if score.
The Oval is lovely.
I did end up by enjoying myself. Was a reasonable outing. I haven't been to a football game for at least five years.
Thank you for asking.
Amazing place but dont sit in the highest stand if your scared of heights we were bought tickets for Phil Collins he was fantastic but the seats were so high up and steep I had a terrible attack of fear
Excellent venue. Wonderful scenery. Freindly service
A visit to the Bradman Museum here is a must-see for cricket "tragics".
Fantastic place to watch the SANFL Grand Final especially when your team win. GO EAGLES
Excellent venue for watching sporting events in particular cricket and AFL.
Amazing atmosphere at every event I've been to - proud Port Adelaide supporter - always helpful and surprisingly friendly staff who would be forgiven for being a bit short given how busy and stressful events can be. Security were actually helpful rather than simply being a barrier.
if the food and drinks were not so overpriced would give 5
Best ground I've ever been to. I love the atmosphere
What a fantastic stadium. I did the tour. Even saw the Darren Lehman statue out the back. And had a laugh. Toured the old scoreboard. Fascinating stuff. Heaps of awesome function rooms. I also attended a 200 person function the next day and it was great.
I loved this stadium so much I've started a project (in my head at least) to build a stadium like this in Auckland. The grassy end would allow views out over Rangitoto. The stadium would be full size to allow cricket and football (yes Aussie rules) but then would have detracting seats that would come back out for rugby. It's going to be the new home for the blues and warriors. It will be called the volcano. The grassy bank will be known as the Lahar. And one stadium will be named after Richie McCaw.
Anyway - fair to say it's an inspirational stadium. I'd love to watch cricket there. Also got some great ancillary areas for tennis / drinking. Both national Sports of Australia.
Everything you can buy there is way overpriced, beer sold as a pint is not a pint whena 330ml stubbie fills the same tiny cup. FALSE ADVERTISING! Apart from that great place to watch the footy, just don't buy anything.
Well worth a trip and tour of the Oval. Lots of history even for a none cricket fan.
Brilliant venue for both sports and as an entertainment venue for all different types of entertainment enjoyed by everyone bit pricey but I enjoy the same recommend it to anyone
Great reasonably new stadium in the centre of Adelaide. Plenty of toilets available which are found throughout the oval. Food is a little pricey but its to be expected for a sports venue. There is even a roof climb to see the view of the city skyline.
Watched an AFL game here. Great stadium. Could imagine watching the ashes here on a hot day.
Fantastic venue and atmosphere to watch a game of footy or cricket , private functions and the roof climb is definitely worthwhile especially when there's a game on
Concerts or Sports the Adelaide Oval is the perfect venue.
Great viewing for football food and drinks very expensive would not recommend
Came to the oval to watch the Srikers in the BBL, beautiful ground and great entertainment for all the family, would definately recommend visiting the oval and catching a game!!
Unbelievable stadium. Certainly world class however I purchased Audi tickets to see an NRL match which stated a strict dress code, most if not all guest seated in this area were dressed like bogans. Certainly not worth paying the money to sit with foul mouth people wearing flannos and beanes.
Thumbs down
Best seating position that I have ever been able to enjoy at the Adelaide Oval.
I challenge you to find a more pleasing sports experience in Australia.
Stunning views and lots of history. Took a good tour and enjoyed a close look of the oval
What a fabulous dining experience we had! Delicious food and great service. Will definitely be back :)
Great place for watching football but the food is far to expensive for what you get.
World class venue with great atmosphere prices are a bit over the top so either eat before you go or take your refreshments
Nearly $10 for a basic sandwich. Ridiculous. Staff are embarrassed at the cost. I have a hotel and can offer hot meal with Salad bar for $11 just a RORT. staff try to tell me they need to cover wages. If you charged a few dollars less you Would sell more. Greed is all it is
Everyone loves Adelaide oval but the beer is too expensive
