Go, every weekend market, every time. This is a lively fun place. No wonder so many people check In here. When the person at the wine shop tells you to try this but a case. Eat everything that is still available. Take some meat with you if you are an American, then find a beach with a bbq put meat on bbq , even if you over cook them.better then you have had in the usa

Our group of 6 visited these markets on 4 occasions during our 2 week stay in Adelaide. We had breakfast there twice and did a lot of shopping to pick up up supplies for our AirBnB house. I can safely say these are the best Markets in Australia, fantastic goods on offer and some great coffee there. We just loved the atmosphere amongst the throng of people.

This place should not only be on the "to do" list for visitors from around the world but also on the list of locals.
Please support our TRADITIONAL LOCAL BUSINESSES as many of them was impacted by the fires and need this income and many of them are family owned.

If you come to Adelaide, this is a must. The lives of the people living in Adelaide are visible. And not only inside, but there are cafes and restaurants that surround you in a nutshell, it's good! Treasury of! Of course, Japanese ones are also sold.

The best market for buying food in any of the Australian capitals. It's not so big that you get lost or tired walking it but it has a huge range and tons of tasty ready to eat options.

The prices for fruit and veg always beat the typical supermarkets and you have many choices to pick the freshest options.

The biggest let down of Central Market is the lack of other stalls. There's not really stands for buying wood products, souvenirs, clothing, etc at discounted prices like you can at all the other big markets in Australia. Queen Street in Melbourne being the most impressive I've been to for it's vast array of goods available.

Central market has been the same since I was young. Always keep coming back for good, cheap, fresh food. Retail staff are down to earth salt of the earth type offering great food and good value.

The Atmosphere is one of Nostalgia.
Well worth the visit as you're also close to the Gouger Street Restaurant strip and of course China Town.
Plenty of Variety to suit every taste

A must see when visiting Adelaide. The region is famous for its local produce and the focus on high quality food and beverages is displayed here with many specialty shops and a few nice eateries sprinkled within. Convenient parking on top which never seems to fill up completely, even on Saturdays when the market is at its busiest (best for people watching).
