Nice place to buy locally grown produce at a lower price

Sun is closed until 3pm on Saturdays. I went and closed the door

LOVE this place! It s such a pleasure to shop and eat your way through the central market. The shopkeepers are so very friendly. And there is a huge variety of goods being sold.

Has pretty mych everything you need in the way of food, plus the produce is fresher and tastier than you find in big supermarkets. You can't go wrong here, the food court and cafes are an added bonus.

When to Hong Fat restaurant Grote St side of Chinatown. BBQ pork, roast duck and pork. Student hangout since 1980s. Portions are smaller but still tasty

Love central market. This is where muticultre appeals in adelaide. You can get food from all over the world in a reasonable price. Fresh fruits and vegetables and meats to shop. Very good vibe and kids friendly environment.

Such fun - so much food, so many calories in one place. The best zeppole I've found anywhere.

Adelaide Central Market is a fantastic place to visit & buy produce whether you're a tourist or a local. We adore coming here & enjoy the bustle of action when it's busy.
There are so many things to try & incredible varieties of food from Aussie roo to cheese from all over the world. We were even able to source some Australian green ants here.

Great atmosphere, Fabolous selection of fresh fruit and veg. If you are a foodie this is your place.

You can get fresh vege and fruits here. Cheese, choc and nuts lovers, grab some from here too. It's nice. There are however only a few (like two only) souvenir shops you could find, if you are looking for keychains, fridge magnets and stuffed toys.

Immense covered market in the center of Adelaide. Interesting to visit for the myriad of things that are sold and the great variety of foods that are prepared and cooked. Great ferment and many different cultures intertwine in this very special place.

Things are expensive that is not tally to its worth. Place is dark and untidy. Unpleasant to be called Adelaide tourist attraction.

It's a great place for organic shopping, heaps of variety of things to buy, the shops stay well stocked and in business, everything is good quality and delicious, there's a food court with plenty of delicious and filling options, plenty of free samples, also stores with varieties of inedible goods.

I shop there almost daily and save a fortune in comparison to the larger soopermarkerts. The produce selection is huge. There is a coles within the complex so you can get non food items there and then shop around for what you need, an Adelaide institution and an awesome place.

Love strolling around the central markets on a friday night! Take your time going up and down every aisle and looking at every stall, so much to see and taste. And i always finish up at the Providore for a gigantic Wagon Wheel!!!
