all the character and history you would expect of such an iconic market. fresh is the word
Some of the nicest, cleanest markets I've been to. Large variety and great service. Local in the CBD next to all the great food places.
Exciting with great produce and lots of different style eateries
Very nice market with a large selection and nice ambience.
I love going to the Adeliade markets. They have great food and things from all over the world and you really have to go to the food court for linch. Very affordable and very nice
Nice busy place lots fresh furit and vegs plus other stores fish meat chicken coffee cafes very nice...
If you are nearby I highly recommend visiting. I try to get there at least once a fortnight. It is the best place to get fresh first grade fruit and veggies, nuts, bread, cheeses and cakes. I'm especially hooked on the halwa from the Middle Eastern sweet shops.
I enjoy the atmosphere and the wide range of fresh produce available.
A lot of thing you can find here.. the coffee shops also serves varieties of coffee beans!
Varieties of food stuffs to buy! The candy stalls are irresistible!
I always go to the market when I am in adelaide its the best
Possibly the best capital city Market in the country. Price, variety, and quality. Reasonably calm environment. Easy to get to.
One of my favourite places in Adelaide to walk around and get something delicious to eat. Recommend to start here and to slowly walk through to the China town food court.
Love walking around there so many things lots of food
One of the icons of Adelaide. Love the fresh produce, vibrant atmosphere, great coffee and food.
Excellent atmosphere, can't beat the range, great service and lunch can't be beaten.
This place is truly a gem inside the CBD! It's got everything I could think of. Really love the cheeses, veggies and oriental products and services
Always fantastic. A great place to shop and get that speciality styled produce, but also a great place to try some thing different. Cheap meals from many cultures. Relax and have a coffee and then browse at all the stalls.
Spending a week in Adelaide and visited the market 3 times to eat. Not only is it good for the local to purchase their weekly fruit, veges and deserts, it also a great place to visit and enjoy a meal at any of the restaurants or china town.
Would definitely recommend to all to spend a few hours and walk through the site to take in the smells and aroma of Adelaide
Fresh produce but lots of pushy people getting in the way.
Beautiful market with many beautiful stalls. Everything is for sale here. Do not be shocked by the prices of European imports!
Fantastic place for fresh produce, huge variety of gourmet dishes and great market atmosphere. I have been going there since I was a child. Love it. Good place to eat lunch and also shop for a dinner party.
Well I just walked past the market but it was so nice to see it bustling again (in the safest possible way). Went to Chinatown to eat. Lovely pho.
The Adelaide central markets is probably one of, if not, the most well know place in Adelaide. Filled with local growers and bakers all around South Australia filled with delious grown and baked goods, from fruits and nuts, too pies and sausage rolls. Untop of that there are people crating things such a soaps and unique pieces of clothes to share. If your interested in coming to South Australia I recommend coming to the central market, to take the first step on touring Adelaide and South Australia.
The place has everything at a reasonable price. Fresh fruits and variety veggies can be shopped from this place.
They've got everything I ever wanted! Fresh fruits, all kinds of cheese, pastries, coffee from all over the world and food from every nation.
The carpark is a nightmare to walk out of when the market it closed. No signs the elevator was turned off. Most of the doors too the stairs are locked.
Best veg, smallgoods, meat, coffee, nuts, fruit and fish shopping in Australia
The markets are amazing, they are full of life, laughter, good food and bargains!
You can get everything from shoes to food. No matter what you want, they have it! The vendors are super friendly and always down to chat and help you make best choices to go with your needs, tastes and plans.
One of my favourite places in Adelaide. Super choice of shops many with bargain prices and quality goods
A nice shopping center but similar to our Italians ....
A must visit if you're in Adelaide, you will likely interact with far better food here then anywhere else in Adelaide.
Amazing little market with fresh produce, clean and not smell and also cheaper than others place..
Wonderful place for a quick snack or marketing. You can find anything you want under one roof!
Fruits&veggies are fresh and cheap.love shopping in central cause I lived too far in Elizabeth. So haven't been there for 8 months.
Market in central Adelaide. I fantastic array of stalls with fresh vegetables, fruit, meat and fish. It also has an amazing selection of food to take away or eat there. This is frequented by both locals and visitors alike. If you are ever in Adelaide this place is a must visit.
Used to go there weekly, lots of choice and on Saturday before closing most of the fruits and veggies are half price
Really enjoyed wandering through the market and picking up things for lunch.
Love the atmosphere, variety and quality of produce.
Great selection of food both fresh and prepared. Other interesting shops as well.
Just love all the fresh foods and nice eating places.
A must see and taste when visiting Adelaide. Amazing fresh produce with a lot of unique vendors for food options. Bring your own cloth bags for shopping
The market is good. Better than most in Melbourne. Huge variety of products and very interesting. It's a bit expensive and parking is an absolute rip-off @ $4.20 /hour. I will never recommend visiting Adelaide.
Best market in the world. Love the food, quality, prices and atmosphere. Can't wait for the next visit.
Interesting food market that alternates desks for the retail sale of foodstuffs (fruit, vegetables, cheeses, meat, pastry) to small catering spaces related to different cuisines (Thai, Arab, Italian, etc.) or desks where smoothies are served , centrifuged, etc. (in some cases it is the greengrocer who also makes the centrifuged).

Would definitely recommend to all to spend a few hours and walk through the site to take in the smells and aroma of Adelaide
