If you are nearby I highly recommend visiting. I try to get there at least once a fortnight. It is the best place to get fresh first grade fruit and veggies, nuts, bread, cheeses and cakes. I'm especially hooked on the halwa from the Middle Eastern sweet shops.

Always fantastic. A great place to shop and get that speciality styled produce, but also a great place to try some thing different. Cheap meals from many cultures. Relax and have a coffee and then browse at all the stalls.

Spending a week in Adelaide and visited the market 3 times to eat. Not only is it good for the local to purchase their weekly fruit, veges and deserts, it also a great place to visit and enjoy a meal at any of the restaurants or china town.
Would definitely recommend to all to spend a few hours and walk through the site to take in the smells and aroma of Adelaide

Fantastic place for fresh produce, huge variety of gourmet dishes and great market atmosphere. I have been going there since I was a child. Love it. Good place to eat lunch and also shop for a dinner party.

The Adelaide central markets is probably one of, if not, the most well know place in Adelaide. Filled with local growers and bakers all around South Australia filled with delious grown and baked goods, from fruits and nuts, too pies and sausage rolls. Untop of that there are people crating things such a soaps and unique pieces of clothes to share. If your interested in coming to South Australia I recommend coming to the central market, to take the first step on touring Adelaide and South Australia.

The markets are amazing, they are full of life, laughter, good food and bargains!

You can get everything from shoes to food. No matter what you want, they have it! The vendors are super friendly and always down to chat and help you make best choices to go with your needs, tastes and plans.

Market in central Adelaide. I fantastic array of stalls with fresh vegetables, fruit, meat and fish. It also has an amazing selection of food to take away or eat there. This is frequented by both locals and visitors alike. If you are ever in Adelaide this place is a must visit.

The market is good. Better than most in Melbourne. Huge variety of products and very interesting. It's a bit expensive and parking is an absolute rip-off @ $4.20 /hour. I will never recommend visiting Adelaide.

Interesting food market that alternates desks for the retail sale of foodstuffs (fruit, vegetables, cheeses, meat, pastry) to small catering spaces related to different cuisines (Thai, Arab, Italian, etc.) or desks where smoothies are served , centrifuged, etc. (in some cases it is the greengrocer who also makes the centrifuged).
