Amazing market! A must visit if you are in Adeleide!
So much variety in stalls and such a vibrant atmosphere.
Gourmet shopping delight! Old fashioned and new combined. Fresh food straight from growers. Cafes with international flavours, atmosphere is wonderful. Commercial shopping doesn't come close.
Fabulous place for family and friends to meet, especially Friday nights after work - good for the soul.
It's very good for fresh fruit and vegetables and seafood...
Very cheap fruits. Very different prices so check before you buy. Some shops are half price, bananas 99cents one shop, another shop $2:99
Great place for food options. Great stalls with lot of choices.
You can get anything food oriented here. Some great shops and cafes.
Great market. Close to everything, tram, bus and have everything we need.
Great atmosphere, fresh and authentic, plenty of varieties, fusion of cultures and styles, where you are free to roam and try out different food and produce. Not boring, pretentious, sanitised, or elitist like some shopping centres.
Really brilliant indoor market. Great food stalls and places to eat.
Love this place, all the food you would want in the same place!
A must visit. Come everyday to have breakfast in different stall and watch people going about their day. Coffee. Pastries. Nuts. Chocolates. Everything.
Vegetables and fruits also free....everything whith good price....
Lots of great fruits and veggies and lots of other surprising finds. Good spot for souvenirs for travelers too
Haven't been for a while. Still the best place to get the freshest Veg and provisions for weekend cooking.
fantastic food, fresh and cooked. Great coffee, live music, and friendly service
Picked up a little cake thing and a bottle of watermelon water for $14.50. It was yummy but I didn't see any gold flecks or diamonds on the side of my cake so I'm unsure why it cost so much. Will be back when I'm not earning minimum wage anymore
World class market. Buzzing with activity. Fresh produce and food products you can t find anywhere else. So many great Asian stores and authentic food. Adjoins Chinatown. Fantastic.
A great variety of food. It was a bit on the noisey side, that shows it popularity. Shows the food is good.
Lot of people who are shopping and browsing through the shops!!!
I always enjoy walking through the .Central markets of Adelaide. Its a must for me when visiting Adelaide
You should visit when in Adelaide. Liked the variety a lot: everything you can imagine concerning food. Fruits, sausages, cheese, bakery, tasty coffee.
And also fancy indian and chinese shops.
Even interesting bookstall you can find there.
Regular visitor on Saturdays. Exciting when produce changes from week to week. Traders leave their produce until it is even rotten and then try to sell it at a cheap price when nobody wants it. They can be more reasonable with prices and they will have higher turnover. Take note for mangoes.
A market with a wide range of fresh and artisan produce in the centre of Adelaide
Easily one of the best food markets in Australia, up there with La Boqueria in Barcelona.
Beautiful place and so much variety of food and beverages.
Great market... has everything you would ever need... lots of choice. Even has the first hour parking for free... so it pays to be quick.
Great variety of local and international foods! Great atmosphere and a favorite spot on a Friday night for the food court.
Had lunch here was really good, looked around in market had a really great time lots for fresh produce ,and the nut stand is good ,good prices ,well with going
If you've never been here, do yourself a favour and pay the Central Market a visit. Great place for all your shopping needs.
Lots of fresh food, good quality and fun atmosphere.
Remember to shop around. Fruit and veg can vary in price from $2.99 to $8.99 for capsicums.
Always a treat, espesh the mandatory visit to charlesworth nuts
Great market with great food variety. Must go place in Adelaide.
Great place for fantastic produce. Can be busy but worth it! The workers in every stall are genuinely lovely people.
A great place to get fresh, delicious, far from boring food at reasonable prices...
Great very diverse very Australian / South Australian and not too expensive you could always compare the price with coles near the Central market
I have shopped here since my parents brought me to the market, in 1964, throughout my adult life I have bought the bulk of my groceries in the market, I find the expansion from mainly deli products and greengroceries, to include meat, and groceries has been great. Also the increase in coffee shops, Asian cafes and make it great to go and both shop and get a meal, lunch these days since retiring, but dinner when i worked. My one problem is the attempt by market management to turn this into an exciting entertainment, it is actually a practical way to buy weekly groceries, not some place to go for a treat to be entertained
Great area for foodies that require fresh produce & items that you would scarcely find elsewhere in Adelaide. Wouldn't mind a bit more variety though.
Lots of choice and lots of fabulous food to choose from. Great for shopping, eating, coffee or just having a wander around and taking in all the sights and smells.
Great atmosphere and nice way to buy fresh bread, meat, groceries, cheeses, small goods and coffee.
A wonderful place to visit as a local or a tourist. Huge range of fresh food and lunch options.
