An iconic place in Adelaide, South Australia. Great atmosphere. Vibrant. Great range of stalls - fruit, veg, produce, flowers, bread, cheese and nuts, crafts... a must visit place. To buy or just browse and wander, it is worth the visit. Centrally located. Close to tram, bus stops and car parks.

Be sure to check it out when you go to Adelaide. Vegetables and fruits are very fresh. There is a great coffee place, a small book stall, and I bought some fresh fruits here. There is a great Chinese restaurant near here, try the food there! Great! But their home is always busy, right next to Paparich.

One of Australia's best local food markets. If you can manage it, a walk through around 7am to see the stallholders setup and gossip, whilst grabbing a coffee from Lucia's is a wonderful thing to do.

Very good quality fruit and veg at a good price. Can vary between stalls from must be eaten today to will last (price reflects this). Cards only if over $10 otherwise cash. Do check your change.

An eclectic assortment of shops and vendors. if you need it, someone is selling it. I sought out a Chemist (Pharmacy) to refill a prescription and then went to the Coles Supermarket for Grocery items.

Went here 23 December taking advantage of the early trading hours. Arrived at 6.30 am, parked easily. Produce was fresh and reasonably price. Service at all stalls was fast. Finished shopping in under 40 mins. The crowds were starting to build up when I left.

We were only walking around because we had not been in Adelaide in a very long time. My husband had never been to the Market so was interested in having a look. Purchased a book & fruit. Have to come back another day & have a good look around.

Love visiting Adelaide Central Market. So many stores offer fresh fruit, vegetables and flowers.
There are also Cheese specialist stores with a wide variety on offer.
Charlesworth Nuts are also there with a delicious range of roasted and raw nuts, including dried fruits.
You can sit and enjoy a coffee and snack or simply walk around looking for the best quality at a good price.

Went to Lucia's on Friday 21/619. Good food but terrible service. I acknowledge that Friday night is very busy but had to wait 40 minutes for 2 steaks. Really annoyed that people around us who came after and were ordering similar food got theirs before us. No apologies and had to ask 2 different waiting staff to check on our meals. Neither bothered to get back to us. Won't be coming back and won't be recommending it to others. If you're going to pride yourself on being an iconic institution at least act like one.

Between the malls, wonderland of stalls & Chinatown, you can find anything edible & more. Great whole foods & organics, breads, gourmet, cheeses, nuts... Many ethnic & local specialties. Best of all: it's beautiful, a world of colour & pride.
